SheCodes Plus is another challenging and rewarding course from Matt and the team. This course builds on the basic HTML, CSS and Javascript skills developed in SheCodes Basics and applies them to a real-world, practical project in developing a functional weather app using an API. The course content is fantastic, broken down into manageable sections that are easy to follow. The support of the SheCodes community is a valuable part of the learning process. The final project was so fun to work on and I found SheCodes Plus incredibly rewarding and satisfying, and can't wait to get started on the next SheCodes course!
Taught in small easy-to-digest chunks and helps build your knowledge relatively easily. The instructor is fantastic, I am a slow learner so I can't wait to continue with the Plus bundle to hopefully cement current knowledge and expand on it!
I loved learning with SheCodes. It was such a valuable experience. The website and tutorials are really well set up and easy to follow along. Definitely beginner friendly and worth the cost.

The responsive add-on was great to see what can be done (and perhaps experience some of the frustrations of working with) Vanilla CSS for layouts. Again another well set out workshop with clear instruction and a variety of challenges and projects to allow you to put into practice what you learn.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Responsive add-on, as I was able to learn new techniques and improve my skills in web development. Having completed the add-on, I can now create websites that are more appealing and responsive.

What I appreciate most about Matt's teaching style is his willingness to make mistakes in his videos, as it demonstrates that finding the root problem and exploring various solutions is an integral part of the development process. What an interesting and challenging workshop. I enjoyed working through the lessons and projects and finally Javascript seems to make sense. The breakdown of the lessons helps in learning bit by bit and putting it all together in the end. Possibilities are endless!
Frankly I have learnt quite a lot from this course. But knowing very basics to something more, this is definitely a good place to start.
I'm glad I did this SheCodes course, and I've definitely learnt how to apply my new knowledge to these actionable projects. I've learnt how to learn how to code, so the next few languages and frameworks I will able to pick up easier now that I know a little. The help throughout a few stages of my work has been super helpful in getting me unstuck. I've enjoyed doing the smaller challenges and building my knowledge and skills, they were able to give me win states. Super important when starting something daunting like learning to code from scratch.

It was very informative with a lot of components to learn but rewarding with the end project to complete. I liked learning about how to make Grids using html tables, the old-fashioned way. And learning about hero as well!
One of my favourite workshops that I've completed this far!! This project was definitely handy in cementing certain concepts like conditional rendering & looping through arrays. My confidence in using these concepts has grown greatly between the two React workshops. Practice is key so having two guided react projects was much appreciated! Overall, it was a FUN challenge!! π€©
I found the classes to be well-structured and paced, making them easy to follow. I have gained a lot of knowledge and am enthusiastic about continuing to code!
The course is very comprehensive and interactive - it is a lot to get your head around but there are plenty of opportunities to practice or ask for help when needed.

This was SUCH a fun introduction to coding! SheCodes is a fantastic way to learn and Matt is a great coach. Would definitely recommend this programme, 10/10.
This workshop was the hardest so far but after multiple attempts & reviews of videos, there was the lightbulb 'ah-ha!' moment when it all just clicked. Matt does a fantastic job of going through a concept, demonstrating and then re-running/explaining what he did. Redoing the weather app with React also allows us to see the different techniques that can be used to achieve similar results. Overall, this workshop is a great, thorough introduction to React!
I am absolutely amazed at what I have learned during these workshops. Each one has built exquisitely upon the knowledge learned in prior workshops. To be able to build a complete and responsive site from scratch upon the completion of this workshop is very cool indeed! Thank you!

There is also a lot of resources like Slack and Athena AI to ask questions or receive support. SheCodes workshops are best introduction to coding. I didn't know anything about codes or much about software in general before I joined the free coding class and by the end of it I was insipred to learn. At first I was hesitant to join but I'm glad I did because the basic workshop was broken down into simple manageable steps.

The SheCodes Plus add-on is a great expansion to SheCodes Plus. I really enjoyed learning how to create a world clock app. I highly recommend the add-on, as it expands on the knowledge learned in the SheCodes plus workshop, and also helps you to create another excellent web app, that can be added to your portfolio.
Great workshops that have been a heap of fun to progress through and I'd highly recommend. The projects have been integral to cementing the skills learned. I have no hesitation in recommending the course and if you apply yourself fully you will really progress quickly.

After being totally mesmerised by the free one-hour introduction session by Matt, which I curiously signed up for, I am SO glad that I took the leap and enrolled in the SheCodes Basics course. It has ignited an excitement in me for the future of my career that I haven't felt in a long time! The course is also laid out and presented in an incredible way; super informative but also succinct and not overloading at all, and with me being a visual learner, I feel like I was really able to absorb everything that was demonstrated in the tutorial videos.
