I've always had an interest in coding, and decided to take the leap into this course. I learned how creative and fun coding can be! The way the courses were laid out was flexible for my schedule and Matt provided good challenges for skills development.

The program was clear and easy to follow through and practice on my own. Having a deadline for each homework and project was a huge help to keep track my work and motivates me to finish the program. Its been a long time since ive taken a course that does not involve power point presentation s or watching the instructor read to me. Matt got right into it with "let me show you" followed by "now you do it"...there are also no quizzes but actual mini projects demonstrating you know how to do what he just showed, followed by a final project. This was sort of a refresher for me (i took a coding class over a decade ago) and thank you THANK YOU. I am not sure if I will pursue this (not for me) but what this course did was expand my realm of possibility and give me more confidence to tackle on other online courses. THANK you for making learning exciting again :) I have told several people to just take this course to see and experience what great teaching is just so they can be inspired to take more classes. Great job. Outstanding really.
The SheCodes Basic course was a great! I learned a lot about the foundation of coding. The videos are very well done and easy to understand and follow the instructions. I love that after every video we are required to practice what has been taught. It really helps to reinforce what you had just learned. Awesome course! I'm looking forward to learning more and potentially enrolling in another SheCodes course.

So glad I took the Plus workshop. Learning about APIs and how to use pure Javascript to make a search engine were really valuable skills. I feel like I understood about 90% of the material and needed to re-watch a few of the videos a few times to really understand, but they were still easy to follow and I learned much more by the final lesson that I knew while I was struggling in the middle.
Love how almost all the lessons came with a challenge. This facilitated learning and accelerated my understanding of each concept.
The courses are organized and easy to understand. I was surprised about how much I enjoyed learning to code! I look forward to learning more๐ฉ๐ฝโ๐ป๐

I had so much fun with this 3 week course! It was so easy to follow along especially for a beginner like me. I decided to try SheCodes out because I am in the midst of a career change, I wanted to see if it was something I was into and the answer is, yes!

LOVED this beginner course! Instructions were clear, and all of the information taught was easy to digest and very useful in building my foundation in coding. I am a full-time employee, but this course is flexible enough for me to follow along and not fall behind.

I have always been intimidated by all the different coding languages and formats, despite my interest in coding. SheCodes has been an excellent resource for a beginner like me. The videos are easy to follow and short, which means it is not tedious at all! This workshop has been an interesting experience and I am amazed at how much I can do after only the basics workshop.

As someone who never touched javascript before, it was a definite eye-opener of an experience of how simple making an interactable page is~ It's amazing how easy it is to get help when you're working on the different challenges each week. Love the simplicity of each course and can't wait to dive into the next workshop!

What a great way to start my coding journey! Easy to follow videos and lots of great information that we can take and apply in other workshops! Not to overwhelming at all and was fun to create the projects along the way!

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for a good intro to coding. I liked the short lessons, I thought it broke concepts down well and made it easy to learn at my own pace. The homework was a great way help apply what I was learning in the lessons and the due dates kept me accountable. I really enjoyed the final project, it was a lot of fun and helped put everything I learnt together. Highly recommend!

So far, so great! It is crazy how much you can learn in such a short period of time and the amount of confidence you can gain in yourself and ability to code. Would certainly recommend.
This introductory workshop really helps understand the basis of html, css and javascript. You learn at your own pace (love that you can speed up training video and pause when needed). I felt engaged owing to the online slack support as well as challenges and homeworks. Also, challenges and homework are great, practice is key in coding to understand how all these languages work together and is needed to actually retain the info (at least for me^^) I loved the format, not too easy not too hard, just challenging enough to want to dig into it more :)!
Coding will always be a challenge, SheCodes is here to make it easy! Matt chopped the learning process to bite-sized content, making it easy to digest! The Slack team has also been great help when I'm stuck. Great experience, can't wait for more!

I had a taste of coding back in my college days. I took a C++ course and I loved it. I signed up to SheCodes Basic out of curiosity if that love still exists. And boy, did it! I am glad to say I have caught the coding bug again, and I have this workshop to thank for it. Definitely pursuing it further.

Definitely more challenging than the previous course, but I feel like I've learned so much about working with JavaScript, and I'm incredibly proud of my final project as it's not anything I would have dreamed I could have created a few short months ago.
I am very pleased with how the structure of the bootcamp is laid out. This was my first introductory into coding and I must admit, I don't hate it yet! I am very grateful I took this lunge into coding with Shecodes and look forward to the other bootcamps that are being offered, and what skills and knowledge ill be gaining from them!
I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge! Never in a million years did I think I would find myself so obsessed with code that I would look forward to cuddling up with it on my Friday nights and Saturday mornings!๐
SheCodes has introduced the fundamental concepts of web development. I loved how all the lessons were formulated, and I found the practice exercises followed by each module to be very beneficial for my learning.
Working full-time, these lessons were very easy to incorporate into my busy schedule and I was able to learn & complete my homework without the pressure of an imminent deadline. The course is very well-structured and when followed as recommended, building knowledge of the coding languages was seamless.
I really enjoyed this course and definitely taught me a lot on a subject I didn't think I would ever explore; I genuinely enjoyed coding and it was a fun challenge for me.

This was a very challenging but very fun to make! I've had so much hiccups here and there and got frustrated at times but the final project made everything worth it.
This is my first time ever coding and I am grateful to have come across this course. The content was easy to follow and I appreciated the fact that the pace was reasonable enough so that I can complete it with two jobs and a kid.
