As someone who had zero knowledge in coding, I have to say that Iβm very impressed with myself. I always wanted to learn how to code so I started to do some research and found SheCodes. It seemed to be one of the best course so I decided to try it and I donβt regret it ! In a short time, I learned so much. I can now say that I really have an interest in coding and I will definitely take more classes here !

SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to coding as each lesson was organized into short videos and each having a specific topic. After graduating high school, I was not sure what career path I wanted to take, but as I continued to do some research, I realized that I wanted a career in the tech world. A perfect option if you are not quite sure if pursuing coding is right for you. Lessons were very straight forward, with small pushes here and there to experiment outside the box. Great beginners course!
I did a lot of online courses to learn JAVASCRIPT and SheCodes Javascript course is the only one that made me feel confident afterwards. Everything Matt said just clicked, it is very well made, very digest, the fact that you don't learn too much in one go before practising is the key. To understand something to the point where you don't feel scare doing again by yourself is what this course gives you.

I came across SheCodes while I was searching for basic courses for programming. I loved the concept of how this bootcamp reaches out specifically to women as we are very under-represented in the IT world. The courses were short and sweet and the challenges after each lesson really takes on a whole new level of learning. Even with a background in microcomputers and networking, I learned so much!
I have a good time studying and coding. Shecodes is my first step in learning how to code. You will feel joyful about creating something with your own code and brain.

I first became interested in coding when I worked as a content creator. I came across SheCodes online and decided it was finally time to learn some basic coding. I joined the the SheCodes Basics class. Throughout SheCodes journey I enjoyed the structure, homework, flexibility and community.

But with SheCodes, I was able to enrol on their affordable Basic Course geared for absolute beginners like myself and I completed it on my own free time! The lesson plans guided by Matt are fantastic and are easy-to-learn. Plus, the resources, tech support and homework extensions are great add-ons that help keep you on track when life throws you a curve ball and you need a little bit of extra time to catch up. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who want to explore coding for the first time (whether it's related to work or just for fun), or to those who want to elevate their current knowledge of it. Amazing course!, I loved the challenge of learning something new. Once you understand it its fun to play around and push your creativity.
I had a bit of prior knowledge coming into this course, however, I was able to learn so much more through this course. The videos were thorough and demonstrated the information perfectly.
This workshop builds upon what you learn in the beginner coding workshop. The setup and execution of the lessons are similar, though I did find some of this a bit more challenging. None the less, I really enjoyed lessons 6-8. I like the hands on aspect of listening and doing at the same time, as it helps to better understand why we would code a certain way or how things connect together.
This was a great course for complete beginners. It was informational and engaging the whole time.
I greatly enjoyed learning about how a web page is actually built from the ground up. The workshop was interesting, challenging and fun! The best part for me was the making my project where I was able to put my creativity at the forefront :)

This workshop was great! The videos are easy to follow along too and the challenges are appropriate and interesting. The project was a fun way to learn more coding and grow my skillset. It's was a great challenge to tackle.
I felt like this was a great course for someone like me, who has never been very tech-savvy but was interested in learning. It started from the very basics and was easy to follow. I also liked that I could do it at my own convenience, from my own home and do each week's homework at my own pace. I still have two more courses to go, but I am excited to show off what I have learned so far and excited to learn more soon!

SheCodes Basic really helped me build and learn to code really quickly. Matt's design skills are really impeccable and it shows in his resource tools and SheCodes website overall. I also met really nice people on the platform who were really helpful and accomodating with my questions.

I really enjoyed this course. I find there are a lot of courses or tutorials out there that say for complete beginners, but they are sometimes hard to follow. In part because some instructors assume you know the technical things they are doing (e.g., using keyboard shortcuts). I like the way Matt teaches subjects but I find he also teaches you how to think like a developer and learn how to find the resources that are needed to feel confident from the start.
It is an awesome course which helped me understand that coding is not scary at all as people think, its actually fun to code as per experience. I have had worked in different job fields like hospitality, banking and retailing and I have always felt that these are not for me and I was not passionate about what I was doing. However, I enrolled myself for Shecodes basic course and the content is very well explained and also the Shecodes community slack is there to help just in case you are stuck. Just in three week course I have learnt the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and created my first landing page which was so satisfying. Now I'm on my journey to become front-end developer and I know that I can do it because I'm passionate about it.
