I have never coded before. It has been a lot of fun. SheCodes team makes it simplistic to get into coding. Which is fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone who is curious about coding.

Such a great opportunity for someone coming from no experience at all. I have been a floral designer for the last 10 years, and am now at home with my baby. I'm very excited about this opportunity to learn this field. The videos are easy to understand, and even when you don't understand that, you're connected with a community that will help!

This course was broken down into manageable chunks that made it easy to stay on top of what had been taught! By the end of this three week course I feel like I have received a very comprehensive introduction to coding and am interested in learning more.
SheCodes Basics was a great start to coding. I love how the lessons are broken down into bite size video sessions, followed by a challenge which allows you to better understand whether or not you understand everything before moving on. I highly recommend the program!
Great beginner course for coders with absolutely no experience!
I literally knew NOTHING about computers. I had to borrow one to do the course. I am BLOWN AWAY that now, in just 3 short weeks, I know some html, css, and java script!! I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn how to code, or who just wants to get their brain juices flowin'!
It is a great platform to learn how to code, it is actually really fun.

This workshop gave me the basic knowledge and skills to get into web design. The way the course is taught along with the weekly challenges makes it easy to grasp the concepts and fun to learn how to code! The course was fun and designed for absolute beginners like me. Toward the end of the course, I felt that I want to learn to code even deeper. There are great resources to keep you on track and motivated, especially Slack was great to me. I was inspired by many students' final projects. Definitely recommend it to my friends.

I looooved this course! I've tried taking coding courses online before and I always found they lacked structure and ended up not seeing them through. The homework and project deadlines were exactly what I needed. Plus, Matt teaches in a very clear and concise way that makes it easy to understand new concepts. I can't wait to get started with SheCodes Plus.
I loved how simple and engaging the course was structured! At first, I was intimidated by learning how to code, but being able to understand the logic behind and go through the challenges made me see how amazing coding is. It really hooked me!
Love how simple and user friendly the SheCodes website is. Also found the cheat sheets/resources to be extremely helpful - especially the gradients and palettes. I didn't rate SheCodes 5 stars because I feel that the lessons are taught too quickly. Perhaps it's my type of learning preference, however I believe more practice between lessons would be beneficial.
SheCodes Basics was a lovely way to be introduced into the world of coding. The video tutorials were incredibly easy to follow, and you're also given the source code so you don't have to worry about frantically taking notes. The Challenges along the way ensured that you understood the material and served as a useful checkpoint. I genuinely enjoyed my first coding experience!
Really enjoyed this course, the videos are so quick and easy to follow and I like how to gotta dig and find some things yourself online. Gives you great examples and the tools needed to succeed.
This is an amazing course! I started this course to learn how to code websites rather than relying on the drag & drop method and feel very confident to test my skills out immediately. Very excited to be moving on to the Plus workshop to continue to learn more! π

Matt is a great teacher, he is explaining everything in a very simple way. I enjoyed SheCodes Basics very much and it highly motivated me to dive even deeper in these completely new field for me. The course is arranged in a very interactive way where there is a task after each lecture so it's not only theory here but practice too and this is one of the main features that makes SheCodes different than any other product on the market.

I loved working through the workshops on my own time! The extensions have also been helpful when I needed more time. I also like how responsive and helpful everyone was on Slack. It's been a great learning process and I'm grateful to finally complete the SheCodes Basics!

I really enjoyed this introduction to Computer Programming! I failed this course in High school because no teacher gave me the chance to shine. SheCodes helped me regain my love for coding. 10/10 This workshop is 100% recommended. I was looking for a career change and decided to take the intro course to better understand web development. I learned a lot about coding and I'm definitely loving it! Matt is very clever and simplifies the steps which makes everything easier to understand.

Originally I tried to learn to code watching videos and found it very difficult. Matt explains the steps in a way that is interactive and understandable. I definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone!
I was hesitant to bite the bullet and join but I am SO GLAD I did. Previously, I did do a quick HTML/CSS coding course but there's something different about SheCodes. Matt's teaching style is easy to understand and the challenges really help you master what is being taught. The Slack community is also very helpful if you're confused or need help! Being able to take things at my pace and my own time and being able to review the videos was especially great. I will be recommending SheCodes to anyone I know!
This workshop is just what you need if you want to dip your toes into coding! The self-paced nature is very user friendly, and having 2 week-long extensions automatically available to you makes this course more accessible to me as a disabled woman. This course has been the right balance between challenging, rewarding and fun! Coding has been a lovely skill to learn, and this workshop has made it all the more enjoyable.

I was a registered nurse back then and had to shift career to hospitality when I moved to another country as my Nursing education is not valid. I always want to learn new things but I have a problem finding the right course and self-motivation. SheCodes is perfect for someone like me who lacks self-motivation and busy with 1 full time job and a side job. I do not have any background with programming but I find the lesson easy to understand, and very motivating. I can easily finish 1 week course in 1 or 2 days because I get very motivated.

Coding is something I've dreamed of doing since my awesome dad let me see the first Matrix movie as a little girl. I always knew I had it in me but the path to get there seemed daunting. I had tried to teach myself but without a good teacher and organized lesson plan, I didn't make it very far. I started with little to no coding skills, would start to lose interest in coding because I would get confused! But Matt explained everything so easily step-by-step in a way that is so easy to understand! I no longer lose interest in coding and now find it fun to do. Thanks SheCodes!

SheCodes is a great program! It has helped me understand computer languages and science. I run my own website so it has been helping me understand how to manage the backend of my development as well as communicate with my team developer when working on new projects:)

For a quick, basic overview and introduction to HTML, CSS, and Javascript, this course is perfect. Fast-paced, but not to the point where you're going to get overwhelmed and feel like you're falling behind. Lessons were easy to follow along with, and all the challenges were great, just difficult enough to keep you engaged. Highly recommend the course!
I honestly thought coding would involve some combination of complex physics and math but after I attended the workshop, I thought differently. I got curious and signed up for SheCodes Basics and I was blown away by how fun coding could be. Matt taught in the simplest way possible in a compilation of short videos and that just made learning how to code even better. Thank you!!
Not knowing a thing about coding, I decided to try it. I had some free time, and winters can be very long where I live, so it was an excellent evening activity to pick up! It was very challenging at times, and I for sure yelled at my computer at times. But, I enjoyed the CSS part; I enjoyed using different colors, fonts, etc. I'm for sure going to continue learning! I'm excited to see where this takes me :)
What can I say? Where do I start? I truly wanted to learn about coding and with so many different bootcamps online, I didn't know which one to pick. Now that I've completed the first certificate (SheCode Basic), I'm thankful I chose SheCode. You have deadlines, a fantastic learning structure, countless videos and detailed information, a real-time project to complete and bonus point : a fantastic community of amazing ladies. This was so much fun! I learned so much, I will for sure do the she code pro as of next week. This 3 week courses was really needed in order to know if this is what I want to do in my life and I can guarantee you that if you like computer and problem resolution, you will love this program!

I completed the SheCodes Basic workshop and I have nothing but good things to say about the workshop. Prior to the workshop, I had no background in coding. Now, I can say that I have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. This is a great introductory course for someone who wants to get exposed to the coding world.
I really enjoyed the pace of the course but I feel like I need a lot more practice to be comfortable using these skills. The videos were fantastic and I loved the layout of the website.
