The basics from right from level 0!

I went into this course with very little knowledge of the subject, and now, three weeks later, I'm looking forward to applying my coding skills in my current job. Matt was an excellent teacher and I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in further developing their skills. I'm excited to see where my coding skills take me in the future. Great course!

I started this workshop with almost no coding experience and a fear that I would not be up for the challenge, but SheCodes proved me wrong! This was a fun, engaging, and fulfilling experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to acquire a practical new skill. Now that I know the basics, I can't wait to learn more!

I really enjoyed this course, the flexibility of the learning platform is perfect for women who are facing challenges due to personal matters and/or family commitments.

My experience with SheCodes has been amazing. I started as an absolute beginner and SheCodes proved out to be the perfect place to start.

Shecodes plus lectures were well explained and easily understandable. I am glad to have joined Shecodes.

I love way the workshops are set up, the regular challenges to practice before incorporating it all in a final assignment. Can't wait to move on to Plus!

Highly recommended - I've discovered a new world! I love the classes and I like the fact that I can go back and revise what I've just learned is great! SheCodes Plus was really challenging but I can now say I understand what I wrote and I'm looking forward to the next challenge: React.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics course and feel like I really developed the foundations I need for learning code.

I started SheCodes to learn a little bit more about building websites and to be able to make changes to websites myself instead of having to source this task out. I have to say SheCodes made learning code easy and fun!

With an interest in learning how to code, the SheCodes workshop has been a great interactive learning experience. As someone who's had no previous experience or knowledge in coding, the workshop was very informative and well formatted. I am now confident in my abilities to develop CSS, HTML and JavaScript and I am motivated to continue on this learning journey.

I've really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus workshop, it's been challenging and I'm very happy because I can understand more about how software development works, I'm looking forward to put the newly gained skills into practice and create more projects during my free time! Next, React! 💪

Well, I am glad I took this workshop because it helped to learn and understand the basics on how to code. It was also very structured and well detailed. Overall, this was a great workshop and a nice experience for me.

I absolutely LOVED this course. So fun and easy to follow along. I'll definitely be doing the more advanced classes in the future. I honestly didn't think I was ever going to be able to do this, but I proved myself wrong and I feel sooo awesome.

I enjoyed learning new things and tricks in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I was finally able to confidently code functions without being super confused, so I'm very happy because this is money well spent!

Great learning opportunity

I absolutely loved this amazing course! Filled with knowledge, useful tricks and interesting challenges. I thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't mind spending almost all of my free time studying. It's not the easiest one but it's totally worth it. I'm grateful to have this material to refer back to for a lifetime and have no hesitation in recommending this course.

This workshop was so fun! I liked having specific projects and challenges to help me understand the concepts. Matt's tutorials were thorough, but he also encourages creativity and research to ensure you understand how to find solutions.

I have always wanted to learn how to code but I am so overwhelmed when I'm bombarded with all the advertisements about coding. I'm glad I found SheCodes because I learned a lot in such a short duration of the workshop and I never got bored! Amazing workshop. Gave me complete control of what I did on my website but helped me and gave me the skills to complete my end goal. Got to let my creativity run wild.

For the time I was in SheCodes I learned a lot of thing, that use to feel out of reach. SheCodes made me realize that, everything has a "code" and that not everything is as it seems, and are worth learning. To not to be scared of what you don't know or what seems difficult, because you might miss out on something wondrous.

This bootcamp was great! I always had an interest in coding but I didn't think I would be able to learn it but with this class, it was interesting and easy to follow. From a professional perspective, I am a recruiter and I am confident that the skills I've acquired will help me advance into an IT recruitment position in the future. Would 10 on 10 recommend this course!

I've lost my job due to the pandemic and I've been looking for a new one for about a year now. More and more I am seeing the job postings in my area (Graphic Design) demanding HTML, CSS and JS knowledge. I was always scared of learning, I always thought it was hard and impossible. I knew the basic of the basic and I was fine with it, until now. Since I started this program if caught myself being super excited about coding, about how things work and how to improve it. Shecodes workshop just opened my mind to an area I never thought about working, and I am excited to see what the future will bring.

It was a great challenging and fun experience! I would highly recommend, and there is always someone available to help in the great community of smart ladies, whenever you are stuck. I'm looking forward to learning more and using it once I completely change my career.

I never thought this was something I would try, but I'm so glad I did. I learned a lot, even just from the basic course, and I feel much more knowledgeable already! Once my schedule opens up more, I hope to take some of the more advanced classes.

I have enjoyed the 3-week coding intro. I was happy to learn more about HTML, CSS, and Javascript. As a Marketing professional, I would recommend this to other people working in this field.

I had previously enrolled in another course on a different website where I was learning about coding but the coding assignments weren't provided until the end. I was searching for a structured course where coding assignments would be provided throughout and I could track my learning. This beginner course did not disappoint and made it easier to review. I hope to enrol in advanced courses in the future.

Great intro for someone with ZERO background in coding. As a creative, it can sometimes be difficult to fully understand the parameters that developers are working within which is what prompted me to register with SheCodes. Through this workshop I gained basic skills and understanding of HTML, CSS and Java, as well as the relationship between the three. I'm excited to learn more through additional workshops with SheCodes in the future!

Super fun and learned a lot!

A challenging workshop that I loved!! Matt's a wonderful teacher, the lessons, the amount of work was a great fit within my full time work shedule. It is a lot of work, but I found it enjoyable - even when it's frustrating - you get such a sense of pride and satifaction when you build something from start to finish. I'm looking forward to continuing onto the next SheCodes Workshop!

I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn coding from scratch. This is awesome.

The SheCodes Basic's program was a great introduction to coding. I thoroughly enjoyed the bite sized classes and enjoyed the challenges that the course offered. Matt was very thorough in giving you everything you need, but still offering opportunities to figure stuff out on your own. I will be jumping into the Pro course and cannot wait to see what else I will learn!

I came into this course with some prior coding experience, however I now feel much more confident in my abilities. Each lesson gives you hands-on experience, so you can learn quickly and efficiently with better retention. Matt is an excellent instructor who guides you through step by step and explains what you need to know in real-time. I'm excited to continue my learning and see what else SheCodes has to offer.

This course was very challenging at times but lots of support for everyone online.

I learned the basics of coding in university and always loved it. Unfortunately, over the years I lost the majority of my knowledge, but my aspiration to relearn it never died. I researched tirelessly to find a program that worked for me - something that was part-time, distance-ed, and worked with my full-time career - and then I found SheCodes. I've been loving the program so far and can't wait to learn more to progress my career!

SheCodes is an amazing course! The videos are very informative, in a step by step way that allows you to practice and apply every new skill. You can easily adapt the pace of your learning and build your own schedule. There are many resources available and great support from the SheCodes team and the SheCodes community. Can't wait for SheCodes+ :)

I currently work as a Marketing Coordinator running the graphics and website of a 10 location retail store. Though we use a website management tool I wanted to be able to customize and solve problems on our website. The feeling I got when I went in the back end and edited some code to work the way my boss wanted was such an amazing feeling of accomplishment and pride.

I can't remember the last time I was actually excited to be learning something new. SheCodes is equal parts fun and challenging and I am so happy that I signed up. Props to Matt for being an excellent instructor and for providing women like me with this platform. :) Can't wait to start SheCodes Plus next week!

In this eight-week course we did a deep dive learning how to do Java, CSS and HTML. We also used several professional developer platforms such as Visual Studio Code, Code Sandbox and Github as well as learning how to host our code.

Thank you SheCodes team! Although I only completed the basic workshop, I truly enjoyed it and learned a lot. I will definitely be back to complete the pro workshop soon.

I absolutely loved completing SheCodes Responsive. I learned so many valuable skills on how to create responsive web apps, SEO usage, building accessible sites and so many cool tips on how to code faster, clean and more efficiently. This was a great course - so important to understand how to build responsive sites. Easy to follow, great lessons and challenges, and a great final project that you can use to showcase your work.

So much fun and the easiest way I've ever tried to learn how to code! I'll definitely keep learning html & javascript even though I've finished the final project.

Would definitely recommend to people that are brand new to coding, Matt goes everything in a very detailed manner that doesn't overwhelm you. The videos are easy to follow along to and courses can be done at anytime which provides great flexibility. The only things I didn't like was having to do the first two lessons on codepen and then switching to VS Code for projects after and having the CSS and JS done within the HTML file (but I am sure that it's like that so the team can grade things easier).

Lessons were well planned out and the order was easy to follow. The weekly homework assignments allowed me to apply everything learned over the week. All in all, I had a lot of fun and am looking forward to applying everything I learned in future careers.

I've been wanting to learn how to code for a while now, but I was unsure which training I should start with. Wow is where I can begin regarding SheCodes courses. Matt is hilarious - I found myself frequently bursting out in laughter while listening to his lectures. His lectures were also clear, concise, inspirational/motivational, delivered at the perfect pace, and it was very insightful to see how he problem solved in the videos itself. Initially learning to code was quite challenging and stressful..but as I completed each course on SheCodes, my perspective changed to see coding as long-game that is feasible as long as I am persistent in my efforts. The Technical Assistant on slack, Joao was very helpful and prompt to respond. The participating students raised a lot of great questions that I learned from. Other team members I had the pleasure of connecting with - Lexi/Sara were also very helpful. THANK YOU SheCodes!

I was enrolled to a coding bootcamp that was about to start in a week when I saw an ad about SheCodes. The fact that it was geared for women was a big draw, but the way it's structured in terms of the lessons and scheduling was what made me seal the deal. Of course it helped that there was a discount in celebration for the International Women's Day.
