I was always curious about coding but never knew where to start. SheCodes made it easy to follow and learn with their lessons and videos!
The best coding workshop I've signed up for. Matt has done a great job turning what seems to be an intimidating skill into something small, concise and easy-to-follow steps. SheCodes helped me retain a lot of new information in a short amount of time. The support team has always been great and helpful as well. As someone who has zero knowledge in coding, I am confident to say that I learned some new skills and now I am able to build something beautiful from scratch, thanks to SheCodes.
I liked this workshop very much! Even with my 4 months old baby at home, I could find some time during the day to learn and improve my skills.
Loved it! I've learned many new things in a short period of time. I really love the fact that you can go back and watch the lessons as many times as you need to. It was very enjoyable and I can't wait to continue.

This workshop has been a great introduction to the coding world for a novice like me. I came in with no knowledge but an open mind and I have learnt a lo during my 8 weeks working on my final project. It is definitely challenging at times but you can always go back to the lessons and get help from the community and the team. Everyone is willing to help and support which is a plus especially when learning something new.
I can't believe I was able to do some of the things I did! I feel like I levelled up, if that makes sense to anyone else. But, I know this is just the beginning of my journey. Can't wait to learn more!
SheCodes Responsive has been my fourth course with this incredible learning platform. It took all my skills I learned previously, and sprinkled in some new information to create a complete responsive portfolio that I am happy to showcase and start my career! There's a lot of info crammed into a short amount of time but it's done in a manageable way so that my brain didn't hurt too bad! It's pretty cool how I was able to amalgamate all the lessons into a final project. I have even able to make the final project related to my work as an elementary teacher. The support when I needed it was excellent but I do strongly recommend researching bugs and questions on your own because lots of additional learning happens this way! I spent way more than 5 hours per week but maybe this is because I nerd-ed out more than necessary? As with any new learning, would have to keep up the practice in order to maintain all this new knowledge. Definitely recommend!
Such a great course! This is my first time coding ever and I loved it so much! It wasn't complicated or confusing at all. Whenever I was stuck I had all the help I needed through the SheCodes community on Slack. I'm very excited and satisfied with SheCodes. Thank you for helping me create something I am proud of!

Every time I saw a SheCodes ad, I was so interested. I finally took the jump, got more information, and was immediately hooked. As a stay-at-home mom, I'm looking for a way to earn some money while staying home with my daughter. So happy I took this course and excited to see where it will take my career in the future.
SheCodes is a really great platform to learn web development. It has helped me to brush up on my HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills and learn some new ones as well. I had graduated as a Computer Programmer Analyst from a college and now I'm exploring to gain work experience in software and website development.
Really enjoyed learning through SheCodes. The lessons made it simple to follow along and learn at your own pace. Really enjoyed applying my knowledge through homework as well!

I took a few coding electives in University, and the SheCodes Basics course was a great way to jog my memory. The course format (lessons followed by challenges) made it easy to understand code in intuitive, bite-sized pieces. It was also awesome having to Slack community to turn to for help. Can't wait to get starting with the rest of the Plus curriculum!
I've learn soo much with SheCodes and Now Im starting my own business with jewelry!! and making my own website! Definitely take this course it will come in handy and its fun to design and have your own vision:)

This was a great three week course. It's a great opportunity to learn at your own pace. The video lessons and tutorials are so easy to digest and follow. While you don't get the benefit of being in class together, having Slack to check in with fellow classmates and request assistance is a great tool.
While I had some prior experience with the material, it was amazing how the videos and interactive challenges helped me relearn and retain the information. Matts videos made learning fun and there is always help available through Slack. I am very excited to move to SheCodes Plus to continue with learning!

SheCodes is one of the best beginner coding courses I've taken. Matt is a great instructor - his ability to breakdown the coding language concepts into easily digestible, bite-sized lessons, made learning fun and enjoyable. I especially appreciated his encouragement to test out what we learned in true coder fashion: through trial and error. It made learning much more interesting!

I really enjoyed this coding class. I had taken a class years ago which taught me a little bit of HTML, but I found this interactive class a lot easier to retain the information and the assignments were really fun.
The 3-week SheCodes course was a perfect introduction to the basics of coding, which I felt was a major gap in my skillset. The course was very approachable, with lessons in small chunks. I appreciated the mix of conceptual and hands-on learning.

This workshop is amazing and coding with SheCodes was an awesome experience! The learning experience was off the chart, in so little time I got to learn a lot. It was extremely educational, practical and inspiring, with an amazing teacher (Matt) and all the mentors in Slack that helped us through every task. I had always been interested in trying out coding but it always seemed too difficult and complex. I can definitely say that enrolling at SheCodes is the best decision I've made. The instructions by Matt and assistance from Joao in the SheCodes courses are really great. I would recommend it to those who are serious about coding. As someone who is not particularly tech-savvy... I found this course challenging. All in all, a good experience!

The 3 week Shecodes workshop was a great introduction to the coding world! The lessons were very easy to understand and the challenges/homework were a great way to reinforce what you had learned each week. Definitely was a rewarding experience. Highly recommend!

This course was a great way to start learning how to code. Matt is an excellent instructor and I really enjoyed his enthusiasm. I like how the weeks are broken up into lessons so you can do a little every day or a lot, depending on your schedule. It's easy to go back and review previous lessons if you need to refresh your memory as well.
I really enjoyed SheCodes Plus! It has given me insight on how much it really takes to create a web site. The modules were difficult at times but it helped to be able to rewatch the video numerous times and ask questions on slack. I can say with full confidence that I really enjoy coding! Can't wait to take React soon!
I wasn't sure what to start with learning about computers, until I saw the add on Facebook. The instructions are clear and concise for a beginner like me. I have learned a lot with the basics and don't see websites the same way again. It was a little difficult to learn and finish homework because of my tight schedule. You can get one week extra, but only once. Other than that, I recommend SheCodes.
It was great. i enjoyed taking the lessons and I look forward to completing SheCodes plus and SheCodes react
I absolutely love the SheCodes course. The introductory course has good content and teaches you so much about HTML, CSS, and Java. The final project is where the fun and magic happens, you can apply everything you learned and create your own page. Also, I used to think that coding was something boring, difficult, and almost like a secret science that only a few people could do it. But Matt explains in such an easy and clear way. Points to the Slack support too, it helped me many times and I also was able to make some friends! Looking forward to continuing (:
The Intro to Coding Workshop was my first step towards a coding journey and I am amazed at how much I learned in only 3 weeks. Highly recommended, especially if you aren't sure if coding is for you. I cannot wait to continue my coding journey with SheCodes!
This was a lot of fun and very interactive. I completed my undergrad and graduate studies in a completely different field (Migration Studies) and I am a professional photographer so coding is a very new field for me. I've tried a few coding courses and they've all been very difficult but this was broken down in a way that was easy to grasp and put into practice. I'm super excited to continue on for the next 9 weeks and I'm glad I chose SheCodes as a way for me to learn coding!

I really like the constant challenges because it forces me to spread out the classes throughout the week ( great when you're busy and think you can leave it all for the weekend...you can't!!!)
As someone who has no previous knowledge or experience in coding, this course was an approachable, fun, and interactive workshop that went over the basics of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS and serves as a great step from which many opportunities to pursue coding exist! An exceptional course overall!
It took me a while to come around to an online class, but this workshop has completely changed my view. The lessons are brief with bite-sized concepts that are easy to comprehend and apply. A huge part of the course is using one's ability to troubleshoot and research aspects of coding which is more dependent on the student. This makes it a more hands-on learning experience, and helps students learn to fix their own mistakes, no matter how insignificant the erroneous piece of code may be. Overall, this workshop has provided a lovely environment and community for women who want to code, and I am grateful to be a part of it!

SheCodes is a great workshop for beginners who want to be introduced to the world of Coding. As a beginner, the lessons were easy to fall and the assignments challenged me to explore and research more. I see this workshop as the spark that lit the flame for my newfound passion of coding. I had always wanted to try coding but didn't really know where to start, and didn't get very far on my own. I doubt I would have followed-through had it not been for SheCodes. I appreciated Matt's step-by-step video lessons, the overall structure of the workshop, and the access to ongoing, online support. Graduating means I'm walking away with a firm understanding of the fundamentals of HTML+CSS+JavaScript. I'm proud of what I accomplished so far but I'm also excited to level up on my coding journey.

This course was a lot of fun and a good intro into the basics of front end web development. The lesson challenges and homework really helped to solidify the concepts.
I particularly enjoyed Matt's teaching style. He explains in a simplistic way that doesn't make coding sound verbose. The test-of-knowledge after each video reinforces immediately the content you have just learned. This was a positive experience for me. I'm going all the way to the React program

If you're looking into learning basic web development, I definitely recommend SheCodes. Lessons are broken down into small steps that are easy to understand and you can learn at your own pace(there are no set times for classes but you have deadlines to meet!). I enjoyed my first 3 weeks at SheCodes so and can't wait to start the next lesson!
