Great workshop. Step by step and thorough instructions to begin coding.

I recently lost my job due to the pandemic and currently working as a part-timer. Because I have vacant time, I looked for a course that not only will fill my vacant time but would also help me professionally. I stumbled SheCodes in LinkedIn and enrolled in. The course itself is really informative plus the easy video instructions by Matt. Even my brother-in-law, whom is a programmer, is impressed. I hope many Ladies will invest in these courses. I always love to learn new skills quickly but efficiently and SheCodes offers exactly that! It went quickly but I understood everything pretty well. Now, I want to pursue my love for coding by taking the next workshop that is offered to me!

This course provided me with an easy, yet challenging, and accessible way to learn about some web development basics. The schedule of courses/challenges was provided in a way that allowed you to learn a bit at time and then build on your knowledge. It was broken down in a way that made it less overwhelming. What an excellent course!

SheCodes is absolutely perfect as a beginner's class for someone like me, who had no knowledge of coding at all - the lessons were clear, incremental as to avoid confusion, with great practice homework leading to a final project. I had hoped that web development could be a good future for me, and this program has shown that I really enjoy doing it too!

SheCodes made the task of learning the foundation of front-end development feel significantly less daunting even for a complete beginner like me! Hello there! I am Tiyana Mathew, I am 11 years old and I would HIGHLY recommend SheCodes. It is a very useful class, and you will always have someone online to help you out! Joao, Matt and Lexi were all very helpful. This class is inspiring me to have a job in website developing when I am older.

I went into the SheCodes Workshop with minimal knowledge in HTML and CSS that I gained through my own trial and error. I was surprised at how much more there was to learn in this workshop, and how enjoyable it was - at times it was hard for me to stop working. I look forward to furthering my knowledge in coding with SheCodes Plus and SheCodes React!

I really enjoyed this fast-paced 3 week course! Matt was super easy to understand and made concepts relatable in layman's terms. Although the homework for each week started out simple, it built up to challenging aspects which was great for learning. Would recommend this to anyone who needs accountability to learn.

I've always been intrigued by coding but it always seemed so "big and scary". I work in Marketing and was seeing more and more employers requiring HTML, CSS, and Javascript knowledge, and I didn't really know where to start. This being said, I'm so glad that I stumbled upon SheCodes. Matt is very relatable, and makes coding a lot less intimidating. The lessons - although sometimes challenging - are easy to understand, and I was always able to get help whenever I needed it via Slack. Thank you so much to João for always helping me when I get stuck and providing really detailed answers to my questions, as well Daniela for always checking up to make sure my experience is great! Overall, I really enjoyed this course and I recommend it to anyone who wants to dip their toes in the coding world!

Great intro for someone who has never coded before. Easy to follow instructions and online help is easily accessible with quick responses. Being able to complete one week's lessons and homework at your own pace was ideal for me.

I was always intrigued by the world of coding, but it looked so hard to learn. I took the free workshop kind of as a joke because I never thought I could learn such a complex language. But then once I saw how Matt taught, I realized I might be able to do it! I absolutely loved everything about how this course was taught. SheCodes is an excellent resource for aspiring coders looking to start at a beginner's level. Each lesson was so insightful! The community introduced to me through SheCodes were also so supportive and helpful. Having completed my workshops, I feel empowered to pursue more coding lessons in the future.

Although I already had some knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript, I was still able to learn more about these languages and apply what I learned throughout all the workshops! The lessons were interesting, fun and helpful! I am eager to start sheCodes Plus 😊.

I never thought I would of been able to code ! Lessons are short but complete so you don't feel overwhelmed, and Matt's explanations are very clear ! It's such a wonderful language to learn, and I feel so proud. After 3 weeks, I feel like I have accomplished so much ! I'll be joining React+, because I am thinking about changing my career :)

This course is definitely a great start for me to step into the coding world. The tutorial is easy to understand so it helps me to constantly build up my confidence. I like there is always a challenge after the tutorial video so I do have an opportunity to practice what I have just learned! I would recommend giving a try if you're interested in coding :)

The Intro to Coding course was so easy to follow, yet still fun and challenging. I was especially impressed by how problem-solving skills for any issues or new concepts that may come up were subtly built in to each lesson.

I came across SheCodes as I was looking for a course to help guide me through the basics of coding. Coding is always intimidating, especially to someone who has no background in it. I like that Matt's videos are bite-size, which makes is easy to learn, follow & absorb the material. The challenges & the project help to solidify the materials that was taught.

This introduction to coding was just amazing! Learning to code with Matt was probably equal to binge-watching your favorite Netflix series. I kept being astonished by how the web works. I've been wanting to get into coding for a very long time but hesitated because it seemed intimidating and too complex. After sitting in on one of Matt's free coding sessions, I was finally convinced to take the beginner workshop! It was SO worth it, I am so happy I took this course, it was easily digestible content, easy to learn, especially for someone like me with minimal coding experience! I enjoyed the format of the course as well. Definitely going to take more courses from Matt and the SheCodes team in the future :)

SheCodes+ was a really fun and educational experience! I learned a lot about javascript and how to interact with api's, it can be frustrating at times but it's all worth it in the end.

Really easy to follow along with the lessons and learn as you go

Great workshop to learn some basic coding and the lessons were extremely easy to follow along to. The homework helped solidify my knowledge and the lesson content. Overall, the workshop was very enjoyable.

It was basic and understandable because I began to see the simple parts of coding. It was hard know what words to add in, but analyzing through Javascript, i got to know why it functions in a certain way

I was a total beginner and I had no clue about coding, so the SheCodes Workshop was perfect for me since it doesn't require previous knowledge, I learned a lot and now at least I know the basics when it comes to elaborate or modify a webpage. The videos made by the instructor were really clear, and if doubts jumped we had full support from a great and super kind team at Slack. It was a great experience, thanks to all the amazing staff.
