I was intimidated to start coding because I have never been very good at numbers, and it always looked so confusing. After doing the SheCodes programme, I realised how accessible it actually is to start coding. I'm very excited to see what I can do next after finishing this course.

Really enjoyed the basics course! So much information packed into such a short amount of time. The format of the course was great for my learning style. Having each week broken down into several lessons made it less overwhelming, easier to focus on one topic while gradually building on and introducing new concepts.
It's incredible to look back at the projects I was working on during the Basics course and then the projects I am working on now. The growth is incredible. I would highly recommend taking responsive Add-On!

SheCodes is a good launching pad for anyone who would like to learn how to code. The platform is easy to use, interactive, and the projects are fun, making learning to code really accessible, even though it could be challenging at times. I would absolutely recommend it!
An excellent educational program for acquiring knowledge and fostering understanding
This add on was great! I learned about Grids and how useful they can be, and being able to change the theme of my page was a nice option
The course delved into advanced Bootstrap, covering aspects like navigation, utility classes, and more. I also learned about Flexbox, multiple page hosting, and media queries. I truly leant so many great skills through this course!
Really good start to understand the basics of React! Overall really easy to understand and give a good base on witch to build afterwards.

I enjoyed this course as much as the first part. This course gives you more tools to design and a bigger idea of what is Javascript. Hopefully, I will understand it even more in the next course. I cannot wait.

I knew NOTHING when I joined SheCodes, but in a few weeks I was able to understand basic concepts and confidently build my own website. This course has definitely opened my eyes to the possibilities that coding can provide.

I have learned a lot from the basic courses, that's why I signed up for plus courses for next 8 weeks Meanwhile, I am not sure if this is actually what I am looking for, but I will know more after completing the plus courses. I like SheCodes self-pace learning system, which much more flexible than live classes as I could learn according my availabilities.
I signed up for the SheCodes workshop in order to advance my career. What I discovered while doing the workshops is that I enjoyed programming. It wasn't hard or complex but something I could easily pick up and improve upon with practice. I don't regret signing up for SheCodes and am excited about the next set of workshops.
I'm a product designer who needed to get up to speed with CSS, HTML and JS. SheCodes basics has put me ahead in creating a clearer context for me to work better with my teammates and to understand our user's problems better. I'll for sure be registering for sheCodes Max.
This project was a good exercise to put into practice the things learned during the SheCodes Responsive workshop. It allowed me to strengthen my coding skills and apply them in a real-world context. I appreciated the opportunity to apply my knowledge while working on this project, which boosted my confidence in my programming abilities. I'm grateful to SheCodes Responsive for this enriching experience.
I did not know anything about coding until three weeks ago. I started because I was curious about programming, and my friend recommended SheCodes. Through the first course, I learned a lot and, at the same time, having a lot of fun. I am excited to see what I am going to learn next week and, most importantly, which opportunities it will bring me in the near future.

I really enjoyed this workshop. I have a learning disability and haven't been in school in years, so I was nervous I would have difficulty, however it was pretty simple and straight forward. I actually had a ton of fun creating the last project, even so that I finished super early and tried to add in extra things that were taught, and things I googled to figure out. It was really fun! I did have issues with how the videos would teach us one thing, but then the work you needed to submit asked you to do something that wasn't even taught to you yet. I also didn't quite understand why an entire workshop for teaching women to code is taught by a man. A woman instructor would be better, though I understand Matt is the creator and therefor he teaches it all. I would really like to continue with the other workshops, however they are unfortunately not something I can afford.

The SheCodes basics workshop provided a great introduction for anyone new to coding. Lessons were short, instructions were specific, and there were many opportunities to practice. Additionally, I loved that the program was flexible and accommodating. I was able to work around my schedule, find support when needed, and learn at my own pace. I would definitely recommend this program to others interested in trying out coding.
Just finished my Basics add-on project. It was fun creating another page. Learned how to create grid layouts and changing the theme of a page using JS. Nice way to practice more of your css and html as well. I liked how we made the project together step by step per lesson. Saved me from going back and watching the videos for the final project over again.

This Basics Add-On was SUPER FUN to do! I can see how much progress I've made because, although I'm working on my code writing to be more intuitive, I was able to follow along quicker and easier than I did in my first three weeks. I really like flexing my design muscles in CSS!

SheCodes was such a fun experience for me! I just moved to a new country recently and had some complications that resulted in me only being allowed to study in January of 2024. SheCodes has been a great opportunity for me to still be able to study and learn while waiting for college to start. The videos and exercises are easy to understand, it is so easy to ask questions and I love that there are deadlines. They really helped me to stay focused during the course. The basics course is great for people like myself who never tried this before and wanted to discover if this is something I would be interested in doing in the future.

I loved working though the modules! They are scaffolded wonderfully, so I was able to go through each section in a bite-sized manner. Yes, there were times of frustration, but I found it easy to isolate where I wasn't understanding &/or going wrong. I studied a little more & played around a bit to solve the issue. I'm so happy with what I've made.

Love continuing my coding journey with SheCodes! These workshops were significantly more challenging, especially the JavaScript, and yet, we conquered! The lessons were very well structured and the team on Slack was extremely helpful as always.
Lessons were simple and it was easy to follow. Hands-on projects helped build practical coding skills and opened up new opportunities.
