I found SheCodes really intuitive and I love Matt's teaching style. You feel like he is right there with you. I found it tough at times, but I had all the tools to persevere. I have tried so many times to learn code and failed and this is the first time I was able to do anything using coding.
Although challenging at times, this course was very informative and interesting! I felt thoroughly engaged throughout the whole course.
I never thought coding could be so exciting. It's never too late to learn something new, start over and succeed. The most important thing is not to give up and move forward. Thanks to Matt and the team for the opportunity to dive into an incredible coding journey.
I don't think I could've acquired the coding knowledge and skills I now have without SheCodes. Bachelors degrees and intense bootcamps would have overwhelmed me, while SheCodes did well to nurture my learning in a non-threatening or overwhelming environment. It lets you choose how fast you go. React! React!! React!!! I'm never using regular html and css for front end. React is so challenging and fun. All the videos in this workshop opened my eyes to a new world of front end development and I can't wait to develop my own personal projects with react. I love the SheCodes team so much for all the help even in the middle of the night, and my special gratitude goes to Matt for creating this platform for women like me. I'm so getting into the SheCodes Max after this.

I learned a lot about how to make a website responsive during this workshop. I now feel that I have a strong knowledge base to make any project responsive!
It is hard to put in to words how proud I feel writing this. I knew it would be difficult and there were definitely times I didn't think I'd make it to the end, but I did! Matt and his team have set these courses up so well, if you have to take a break or need to extend your courses due to life events, you can easily do that. You receive a workbook to get you ready to get out into the industry, and this SheCodes Next project really proved how far I have come, and all the awesome potential I have ahead of me. Learned a lot in this course!
SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to coding for me. The homework and final project kept me accountable. In addition to the lessons, there were plenty of resources to help me with my work. The Slack chat and Athena AI helped me immensely to figure out and fix problems with my code. I also really appreciated all the design resources provided, which helped me put together my final project.
I am excited about this workshop. I have learned many new techniques and have built my own website as a result. It was really fun!

The React workshop was incredibly helpful. While the concepts of this program were a little more confusing to pick up, once I understood them it was quite simple and I find that I prefer the organizational components to the library! I look forward to doing the React Add-On workshop soon!

The lessons are well-structured, and every topic is well-explained. I usually so three videos after each work day, then completed all the challenges, and then I needed to spend only about two hours of my weekend to complete homework. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to become familiar with the world of web development.

In the SheCodes Plus workshop, I learned a lot, and I had a great time. Even though I didn't think I could make it this far, the videos were comprehensible, and doing challenges helped. Awesome workshop. Loads of learning in a short period of time, but worth it to be able to manipulate date and time using javascript.
I have some issues focusing so this workshop might not be the best for me as Matt tends to make "mistakes" and change his mind quite often and since the videos are not edited (or not much), it can sometimes get really confusing and frustrating. It's good to see that even an experienced coder like Matt has to think and sometimes just do different things before getting it right, but when he summarizes everything, he can be quite messy using the wrong terms, when it's already a really complex and confusing matter. Apart from that, I still like how Matt is funny and engaging, how he guides you to complete the final project, the course is packed with info and the project is quite fun.

I LOVE react. It is so interesting how you can install all these apps using the terminal. The way Matt teaches is so clear and concise, and the slack community rounds out the support aspect of a full University program. Thank you doesn't say enough!
Topics are not covered very deeply, very superficially.
I really enjoyed this course and building the weather app! It was very interesting learning advance JavaScript, how APIs work and how to do API calls.

Even with previous training and experience in programming, reviewing the basics in this way is very rewarding. I can go at my own pace without too much pressure. The explanations and assignments are very clear!
I had a fantastic experience creating this portfolio project. It was challenging, but I enjoyed every moment of it and I'm extremely proud of the final result. Through this project, I gained a deeper understanding of HTML/CSS and became aware of my strengths and areas for improvement. I highly recommend this class!

I had been wanting to try coding for a really long time, but was intimidated and did not know where to start. SheCodes opened the world of coding up to me and I have no doubt that I will be signing up for the longer courses. Matt makes the content easy to understand and the weekly homework assignments are challenging enough to keep you on your toes but not feel overwhelmed. I would highly recommend signing up!
