I have truly enjoyed the SheCodes Workshops! I knew nothing about coding and thanks to Matt's approach to explain step by step I now understand the way HMTL, CSS and Javascript work. It was great fun learning some basic coding. Incredibly well-structured program. You learn the skills that are in demand today without outdated information and you are super flexible. For sure a more challenging course which kept me up until late in the night working on my code and wondering why some of my functions were just not working π However thanks to JoΓ£o from SheCodes everything worked out in the end. The SheCodes introduction course provides you with a good introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The lessons are easy to follow and at the end of every lesson, a challenge awaits you. In order to finish the course, you are required to create your own website. I can highly recommend this course if you want to gain your first coding experiences. I am excited to start the SheCodes Plus Workshop next week and to further expand my coding skills π.

This coding workshop is a perfect way, how to quickly and easily learn the basics of coding. Perfect is that after the workshop you can already start with coding on your own. The content of the workshop is explained very well - just to the point with a summary at the end of the workshop so that you do not get lost in all information. I enjoyed it and recommend it a lot.
As a graphic designer I usually only make the designs of websites, dead prototypes you could say, but I always felt like there was some important knowledge missing. I wanted to learn what a web programmer/designer actually can do and what not β and now I feel like I'm a big step closer after the 3 weeks course. I'm really excited for the SheCodes Plus Workshop!
This course was incredibly fun and I had an absolut blast! As a complete beginner, I was systematically introduced to the world of coding and Matt makes it easy to enjoy the new topics. The division into smaller sub-chapters and the posibility to organise my studytime by myself helped me a lot!

SheCodes Plus is challenging and so rewarding. It digs deeper into more complex JavaScript functions, which is great experience. Matt also walks you through DevOps and how to use GitHub (commit, commit, commit!) and Netlify - all of which I believe are important to know if you want to familiarise yourself with web developer work flows. I enjoyed this course and am going on to do SheCodes React.
This was a great and fun way to get into coding, I learnt a lot of new skills and benefitted from the bite-sized lessons!
I really like the structure of Shecodes: bite-sized, digestible lessons; challenges after each lesson; homework each week and a big project in the end. The course is demanding, yet not less interesting and fun. Matt's instructions are really insightful and easy to understand. In only a few minutes, each lesson manages to tap into a new useful area. I really like the networking opportunities with SheCodes as well. The student support team here is also super fast, friendly and helpful. This is my first Coding Course and I highly recommend SheCodes to any rookies out there!!

I`ve had lots of fun with the basic workshop and I am very very happy that I`ve made the decision to start learning from SheCodes. In school I`ve already learned some coding but it was a MESS. I could barely follow up and now realised that a lot was already outdated at that time. Matt explains everything very well and the little challenges have helped me to repeat and practise what I`ve learned. Am very excited and thankful for the ongoing journey with the next workshops.

SheCodes is a great platform to learn coding. We can code at home but also within group under professional help. Lessons are very scheduled on weekly basis. It is a challenging but fun experience.

I was not sure what to expect when I subscribed to the course. But as soon as I started I absolutely loved it. The composition of the course is great. You'll learn everything step by step and the instructions are very easy to follow. It's awesome what I've learnt in such a short time.
I really enjoyed learning how to code with Shecodes! During this three-week class I learned a lot more than some of my friends working in IT learned during apprenticeship. Pretty fun!

I can't believe it has already been three weeks! Time really does fly by when you're having fun I guess but it somewhat also felt like much longer than "just" three weeks, since I learnt so much. It does feel like a new world and new possibilities have openend up to me after the beginners workshop from SheCodes, so it goes without saying that I highly recommend it.
The workshop was sofar amazing... I was wondering, if I will be able to understand coding, but the tutorials are perfectly made. Matt is also a very cool guy and super helpful. I definitely have a long way to go, but it worths the time and the effort, because it makes so much fun to create stg new and nevertheless coding ist the future... I'm very happy that I decided to subscribe, would do it again! Keep going guys!
I enjoyed all SheCodes courses I have taken so far - the explanations are clear, Matt provides various resources, JoΓ£o is beyond helpful in the Slack chat - and the best thing, the course is not just theory, but mostly practice. And in SheCodes Plus you have to work hard on your final project - and you learn a lot! I'm excited to continue my coding journey with the SheCodes React course.

I really enjoyed this little course, I learned a lot more than I thought and especially it has given me a greater interest in coding. I like how the course is divided into short videos and challenges so it makes it very achievement oriented and keeps you motivated, the time frame is very realistic and the community is lovely. Oh and I love sheCodes Radio!!! I listen to it all the time now, even outside of sheCodes, especially the 'energy station', it is the perfect playlist to work with. I can't wait to do the plus react course in the future!
SheCodes has been such a wonderful experience overall and I couldn't recommend it enough. The thought of coding has always scared me but thanks to the platform, learning became such a fun experience. Easy-to-understand lessons in a slow enough pace but with good challenges, that will make you research some things on your own as well as let you be creative. Very sympathetic design and examples. It was fun for me to navigate the SheCodes page... and to create my own pages. Looking forward to the SheCodes Plus and React!

Matt Delac is an ampathy and well-organised teacher. He knows how to teach those who have zero knowledge about coding. I really enjoy his step by step lessons. To hit each challences is also good motivated. I feel so pround of myself! All credit to Matt. The team at the slack program also help me feel warm welcome and sure that I always have support from them whenever I needed.

I'm impressed by my own journey ... I can't believe I was able to build a Weather App. Each possible weather is associated with a quote to cheer the viewers up. Remember that sky is the limit and you are the sky! Everything else is just the weather...
The workshop was fun. I especially like the community around SheCodes. It gives you inspiration for your own work. Also, the workload is manageable even with a 100%, because you can work on your own pace.

The past two years I`ve been looking forward to becoming a Front-end developer, thus, besides my studies I was in the search of a challenging and affordable course that will cover the basics of web development, in fact, this is how i found SheCodes. The workshop has a clear, interesting structure, while Matt Delac has a unique, easy way of teaching and what I loved the most is the practical side of every lesson, as well as the Slack software which allows to share experience with other girls and receive helpful advice from the engineers team.
The structure of the lessons are in a logical order and easy to follow. It's impressive how easy I could learn to code basic things within some days & that this "magic field" is not as difficult as I thought. I highly recommend everyone to try this workshop, if you want to get to know a bit more about coding.
In only 3 weeks I was able to do something I always thought to be near to impossible, code my own (basic) website including the use of HTML, CSS and Javascript. It was a lot of fun to learn the basic principles of coding. Yes, you need to invest some time, but it was really worth it and also a lot of fun!
Matt is absolutely a great teacher. I don't think anyone could explain better how coding works! And as he always says: this is not rocket science! It is just a pity that I did not discover this course earlier...but better late than never :)

I absolutely loved the course: It's easy to follow due to the videos provided, which combine theory with a live demonstration of how it's done. In addition to that it's full of exercises where you have to try new things yourself and you have weekly deadlines resp. homework. This helped me a lot, because otherwise I know I would let learning slip after an exhausting week at work. :)
This was a wonderful introduction course to coding. The classes were very well structured and easy to follow for beginners. The length of each class were optimal. Furthermore, the small challenges allow you to directly apply what was learned. Finally the weekly homework allow being committed to finish the course. I am motivated to continue this journey. After the introduction course, I knew I wanted to continue and learn more about front-end development and new topics such as Bootstrap, API, and GitHub. I didn't hesitate to subscribe to the SheCodes+ workshop and was not disappointed!
