Thank you so much to SheCodes for making this 3 week workshop so much fun. What I thought would be impossible to understand, Matt made this so much fun to learn. This workshop was been incredibly fun to go through. I have been following SheCodes for a while, but only after a friend shared her experience with me did I have the incentive to invest in the Basics workshop. So worthy. Money is always well spent on education. I learn so much and it opened my mind to new possibilities. Every week, I finished wanting to learn more. Thank You, Shecodes!

Before taking this workshop I had some (self-taught) notions of HTML and CSS, but it was really great to learn how all the pieces fit together and the order of it. Javascript was really fun to learn. I will definitely study it more, for I can see it has a multitude of applications. Matt is a great instructor, explains everything step by step in a very easy to understand way and follow along.

I really enjoyed my first SheCodes workshop. It made me wonder why it took me so long to start this new career. Ready for the next one!

I was hesitant to start learning how to code, because I thought I couldn’t do it, but now I’m very happy I did it. This SheCodes Basic's Workshop was amazing, I had a lot of fun, and it was interesting to know how to build a website from scratch. I’m very excited to start SheCodes Plus, and I highly recommend everyone these workshops.

This workshop has been an amazing journey. It's super easy to understand the concepts thanks to their vast resources and it's a very simple introduction to web development. This made me only realize how much I enjoy coding and making things come to life.

I have been interested in coding for a while because I think it is a skill that everyone should know these days. I was curious to understand how websites and apps are made and how they work. I always thought that I couldn't do it, but hey! I did it, that means that EVERYONE CAN!! I've been in and out of learning Javascript for a while now, and it's always been too abstract to see the real use of what I was learning. With SheCodes, I've learned within a browser environment that makes it easy to understand the concepts and the use of it.

I never thought that I would be able to learn how to code or even pursuing it as a career path. After taking the SheCodes basic course, I'm really eager to continue my journey in the coding field. I loved every second of this course. SheCodes makes it fun and easy to learn coding!

I loved this course! I had so much fun learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Before, I used to use UX builders on WordPress to "build" websites, but now, I'm on my way to learning how to build them from 0 the way I exactly design them. I'm so excited to start the SheCodes Pro workshop and can't wait to open this next chapter in my career. 👩‍💻

I liked how the concepts are broken down in small parts and are followed by a small exercise. I had no coding knowledge and it was easy to follow the course.

I really enjoyed this course. The explanations are very clear! Matt does not give us all the answers, making us do some research to get to the final goal, which teaches us that "googling" is a developer's best weapon.

SheCodes Basics is great if you want to learn the basics but I have to confess that I was expecting a little bit more. I believe there's room for improvement regarding the training structure/methodology.

Amazing. I really needed a whole Coding for dummies kind of approach, so it was pretty perfect for me. Amazing support team as well. Quick and perfect.

I learned a lot from this workshop! Matt is a great instructor and I highly recommend this workshop.

This course was challenging, stimulating and a huge amount of fun. To my relief, many of the questions I had at the end of Basics were answered during Plus - demonstrating a good flow in the learning material. While at first it was slightly mind-boggling, I found that I loved working with JavaScript, and I certainly recognise the "power" of it's applications and abilities as Matt explains in this videos. The Plus course boosted my confidence in coding significantly, and as such it enabled me to think more creatively in how I wanted my App to be and function. I would recommend this course to anyone who is up for a fulfilling challenge. The SheCodes team were as always very helpful when I had queries regarding my code or how to approach a new problem. Thank you Bruno and João for your assistance and advice!

I knew very little about coding, and this course gave me so much knowledge in just three weeks! Matt explains everything amazingly well and the project and homework are super fun to make!

Learning how to code with SheCodes was a really great experience. Although I only did, for the moment, the SheCodes Basic Workshop, and obviously I'm still not a coder or programmer, I now understand how coding works and can create a basic website. The workshops are very dynamic, Matt is an excellent teacher and whenever we get stuck help is at a distance of a click. I started with the feeling that coding was way too complicated but it's really not that difficult. Plus, I had a lot of fun.

Such a great experience and I learned so much from this course! I have a few friends who are front and back end developers and they were amazed by my progress in such a short time. Thanks Matt for the great lessons and I look forward to learning more.

It's especially beneficial that you may schedule your time to complete lessons and activities on your own. This workshop was quite fun! It was so cool to start from an empty canvas and end up with a fully functioning weather app. Seeing it change every week was the best! Eventough the workshop is fully online, the homework deadlines really help you stay on track. And when facing any problem there is lots of fast support from everyone on Slack (and also Dr. Google 😂). I finally learned Javascript, thanks to SheCodes! The classes are well-organized, friendly and accessible.

I started this workshop as a hobby. I've always had an interest in technology and needed to figure out if programming was something I was passionate about. After these 3 amazing weeks I am interested in continuing this new "adventure".

Another very useful workshop to understand the challenges of responsive layouts, once more with lots of learning and comprehensive classes with Matt!

I already had some know-how about coding, but this was completely different. The fact we need to make, after a video some work let me begin thinking in code more easily. I learned more things than I knew. A really good beginning to pursuing a new skill or career

I had some basic coding skills but never had any contact with html and CSS. Matt is great during the lessons and the supporting slack network is great to. I would highly recomend to anyone who wants to know more about front end development.

Learn how to start coding easily and objectively. Matt can explain coding in a simple way and the videos do help a lot. You can learn at your own pace with all the fundamentals explained.

I really enjoyed this course, it was beyond what I expected! Learning from scratch and now I am able to build (beginners mode, ok?) my own website using HTML, CSS, and Javascript! SheCodes is definitely the perfect first step to start coding!

When I was a little girl, back in 2010, I would spend all my time creating blogs and using CSS and HTML to make my own designs, and give them away to others. I would learn from the very little information I found online and from looking through others' codes. I hadn't done any coding since then, and so I started to think if it could be a more serious thing now. I've been thinking about taking one of SheCodes workshops for AGES! I'm glad I did it, it definitely rekindled my passion. The basics workshop is amazing for someone who is trying to figure out if they want to go further with coding. The classes are very clear and the step-by-step process makes it feel so smooth and fun. The amazing community of women trying to help each other, not about competition but about growing together, is a great plus. Thank you so much, I'm pretty sure this is going to change the course of my life.

When I started my personal blog, a few years ago, that's when I had my first contact with HTML. I found it absolutely amazing to be able to manipulate the elements as I wished. Even though I learned (proactively) very little at the time, it proved to be useful in my day-to-day work. So, I've always felt the desire to learn more coding. This workshop exceeded all my expectations! Matt is absolutely amazing and has a gift for captivating and reassuring anyone who is most fearful. I highly recommend this workshop and hope to have the opportunity to continue to learn and apply what I've learnt in my day-to-day!

I did the SheCodes Basic Workshop to get a sense of how everything worked on the web. I can say it was the best workshop I've done in this area. Several examples that help learning as well as the whole community that is always ready to help and share knowledge. I highly recommend this experience!

Great workshop! Loved it!

I had lots of fun during this workshop! The language was clear and the friendly tone of Matt helped a lot to stay encouraged. The exercises along the steps helped me to consolidate the lessons and I also found that the workload is adequate for the basic level in question. Entirely fitted for understanding if this is something you'd like to pursue as a career and for sure I'll try to ingress in the next levels in the future.

This is a great workshop! I knew nothing about CSS, HTML or JavaScript and this gave me the basis to create a website and learn more about computer languages. The team is also fantastic, they always respond in a short period of time and give you tools that are very helpful! 5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

To be honest I never thought I would be interested in coding or anything similar, but I heard about SheCodes, tried the free class and there was a little spark! Like most people I compared coding to chinese, something very very hard and too complex. But the truth is SheCodes made it a lot simpler and fun to learn! I am just only starting, nothing too complex yet, but still, I feel really proud of what I have accomplished so far!

I signed up for this workshop without knowing what to expect... I've always had some difficulties with technology but with this workshop I realized that even programming can be fun. My goal, with this workshop, was fully achieved. Thank you very much!

SheCodes workshops make coding looks fun and the learning process smooth. I could easily organize my schedule to accommodate the classes. It is gratifying to see that you're able to code since the first class.

Finally, i complete and submit my final project (weather app) SheCodes Plus. After SheCodes Basic, SheCodes Plus being a huge change, a lot of information and tasks. It was a big deal with me especially vanilla JavaScript and API. Full of extensive information about HTML, CSS, JS. Pretty much hard and dynamic. It's a great experience with SheCodes Plus. However, SheCodes Plus taught and introduce with me that, how to dance with frustration. Thank you so much Matthieu Delac Aussaguel. You are such an enthusiastic, well organized, passionate, talented and creative instructor. Before engaging with SheCodes workshop, i had a negative impression about online courses. However, SheCodes (Matthieu) helped me out from that negative impression about online course. Now, I'm more passionate to do some other online course. Thanks again to Matt. Moreover, thanks a lot too to the whole team of SheCodes and also an especial thanks goes to João Lopes and Bruno Torres. You two are super heroes. Here is my final project of SheCodes plus. The lessons were very entertaining and challenging. Having the exercises after most lessons helped me practice, follow everything and truly understand things in a easy way, and the best part is that I could do everything on my own pace.

I tried the first free lesson just for fun and ended up falling in love with coding! Absolutely recommend it and can't wait to learn even more!

I had some knowledge of HTML and CSS since I meddled in coding and everyone had blogs in the 2000s. However, I knew nothing of Javascript and knew very little about the several aspects of CSS. In three weeks, I've learned so much. Matt is energetic and kind and explains things very, very well. I'm extremely excited for the next workshop!

I spent an amazing time learning how to code with Matt! I confess, sometimes I felt frustrated with my errors but at the I could accomplish my mission and I finished my course! I had a lot of fun during these three weeks!

When I did the challenges, I barely needed to check for similar problems, I think that Matt explains every lesson perfectly and in a way that everyone can understand, and I think it's exactly what a beginner needs.

Eventhough coding can be frustrating at times, is great when you can make it work. I've already learnt alot, and hope to learn even more. 💪

Coding was something I was curious about since I found about it. Although my studies field has been more sociology and world cultures related, I wanted to learn about coding to expand my skills and get more tools for my future projects.
