A wonderful experience. After several unsuccessful attempts to learn programming I finally came across this course and I recommend it with a clear conscience. It's a very introductory course, but it's enough to find out whether you want to go down this road or not. I'm going to continue ;)
It is quite an interesting way to start coding. The program is well organized as most of the times the answers to my questions/ curiosities were demonstrated in the following class. I recommend this workshop as a start even if you want to go to more complicated languages like Python and R. It is quite intuitive and the results of your coding can be seen straight away.

Like many others, I started off knowing nothing about coding. The Basics course was thorough, informative and challenging (in a really fun way). It's not often that I feel a buzz when something isn't working on my computer, but when it was part of the exercises or my project, I really enjoyed it. Matt's lessons are detailed yet concise - great for learning something new with lots of rules. It wasn't long before things clicked in my head and I was able to problem-solve my own errors. My time on this course was well spent, and I only question why I didn't try it sooner.
I really enjoyed this workshop and feel like I want to discover and explore the world of coding a bit more. I always enjoyed learning other languages and this experience was just like that, I found myself wanting to know more and more of how it all works. Therefore, I am considering entering one of the more advanced courses and maybe persuading a different career. Anyway, I highly recomend this workshop to everyone, if you are even slightly curious I know you won't regret it.
I loved having the freedom to take classes at my own pace. I feel like I still have a long way to go in coding but this course has given me the tools to take the first steps. This "basic workshop" also gave me the necessary push to look for a improvement in my career.

I did the course in an unexpected and improvisational way. I had my concerns and my perception that coding was boring and too difficult for me - NO! Coding is fun and excited. I still have my concerns about the coding "career", but I am looking forward to the next steps and dive into more details in this world.
If someone had told me a few years ago that I will be doing 4 frontend development online courses in a year with a World pandemic, I just wouldn't believe it. But the truth is: here am I, just finishing the last one. From having no coding experience a couple of months ago to now having completed this React workshop, I have more knowledge and experience in coding than I could have ever imagined having in this short amount of time. SheCodes is just amazing, Matt classes are incredible and so are the SheCodes team that never let us stay with any doubts. I just felt in love with frontend development! I am forever grateful to the SheCodes team!

Totally worth it. It seems to me that the fact that we have a feedback every homework submission is a great plus, because that way you can know if you're doing things right or not. Coding was totally new to me.. now I want to know what's next ๐

"Hello World" :) (ehehe) I finished my SheCodes Plus this week and I am very very proud of the results :) I started not knowing anything about coding and about this world, to build my own weather app. Say what? :o Yes, is amazing how Matt and his team guide us, to absorb so much knowledge in just a few weeks. I will continue my journey at SheCodes with the SheCodes Responsive now: I am sure it will be great and a lot of fun! Already these new skills that I am learning are opening new opportunities for me and I am very happy with this :) I wish you all as Matt says: "Happy coding".
Before starting the workshop, I was a bit on the fence about being able to actually learn anything from the workshop (zero knowledge, believe me). During the workshop, I felt that I could follow every single class and challenge myself.
The experience was very good, whenever I had any questions, they were always there to help. The topics are very well explained by Matt. I recommend it!

Honestly, one of the best online courses I ever took. Simple, clear, efficient methodology. I always thought that "coding was not for me": too hard, too "mathematical". Matt demystified this idea through SheCodes. At each challenge, I got more and more convinced that I could do it. It was a huge satisfaction to take those first steps and I hope to keep taking further ones.

When I signed up to SheCodes I had no idea what to expect. Good news - I LOVE IT! The course structure is very easy to follow and although there were some challenges I was able to use the tools provided to work through them. I was worried I would get bored or frustrated but the process is extremely satisfying (and addictive). I can't wait to start the next course!

SheCodes Plus is an amazing course to upgrade the skills and become a front-end developer. It's never too late to change careers and the fact that classes are online let students have the freedom to choose the best way of doing them!
During three weeks I learned about HTML, CSS and JavaScript. For me, a person that was not familiar at all with these programing languages, it was an amazing learning experience! Great methodology, work tools and platform. I am anxious to continue to develop my knowledge in this field!

This is a great starting with HTML, CSS, and Js. Especially for me Js. In a short period i could able to understand, think and imagine to create different project by my own-self. I enjoyed a lot. This Basics Course is a great way to find out if we enjoy programming and if this is really what you want to do. You learn all the basics to be able to design and create a website or a landing page. Shecodes workshops are excellently, and the tutoring is clear and straightforward. The weekly tasks, final projects, slack and e-mail reminders help to stay on track. The 'solution' videos are also great; having the code at our disposal is a huge plus that allows us to improve and be more efficient. We can constantly test and figure out what works and what doesn't work. I feel that with shecodes is possible to learn how to code. If you aren't sure if you are capable, trust in shecode and go for it, it is worth it!!

After doing the workshop this is a course more focused on Javascript, I felt a bit overwelmed sometimes, but Matt classes are quite clear and the slack channel is there, so everything was doable! It gave me also an overview of what a developer professional life can be, so quite interesting.
I was thinking of a career change and I love web design but I don't know how to code. I'm so happy with SheCodes so far, it's super easy to follow for a beginner like me, and I can't wait to start with SheCodes Plus, Responsive and React!

After SheCodes Basics I was pumped to keep going, and I'm glad I did! SheCodes Plus was definitely more challenging, with some highs and lows, but the highs totally outweighed the lows for me! The lessons maintain the simple straightforward tone that Matt used us too on SheCodes Basics, keeping things accessible. And if for some reason something was not clear, there was readily available help on our Slack community, from Joรฃo or other colleagues. Now onto React!

It's really amazing how in such short time it's possible to learn the basics of coding and even be able to create your own web site! I work with web content, and HTML and CSS always were a relevant part of my professional activity. I always thought that learning those languages (and some programming like Javascript) was possible only for people who liked and knew much math. But SheCodes not only taught me that coding is fun but also it is an activity for everyone. :)
SheCodes is a very well structured workshop to learn how to code, it's very begginner friendly, the videos are well explained and there is always help available if you get stuck. The responsive course teaches you a lot of useful techniques to build websites that look good no matter the device (desktop, mobile...) I definitely recomment it.
