SheCodes is a hands-on experience and I really enjoyed it! The course's structure is excellent and it was really easy to follow and understand. I highly recommend SheCodes to all the women that want to learn how to code!
With no previous experience in coding and just a very basic knowledge of HTML, I was able to build a weather app from scratch! After SheCodes Workshop I've decided to continue with SheCodes Plus and I can't even describe all the things that I've learned: HTML, CSS, advanced JS, Bootstrap, API and web hosting. Can't wait to start SheCodes React!
This workshop was an amazing experience for me especially because I knew absolutely nothing about programming, however I learned a lot during these weeks. I think I already got enough knowledge to later learn and develop something more complex. Just finished my SheCodes+ final project! This course was a great resource to learn HTML, CSS and Javascript. It was challenging, but the encouraging videos and the shared doubts and solutions in Slack really helped me to come through the process. I'm very excited to take the next step: enroll SheCodes React!

Matt is a great teacher, teaching at the right pace and explaining everything perfectly. I really liked of how the classes and weeks are divided, the pace is perfect for someone who works and is doing this after hours! Really loved it, I feel like I know the basics of these languages pretty well!

Ever since I was a little girl I talked about how I would love to learn how to be a hacker and do all that "magic" using computers, but I never knew how to. Since I struggled with math, I was more inclined and was led to a degree in social sciences/humanities and that idea went asleep. Now, a 24 year old, I stumbled upon a SheCodes ad online and that was it, I knew I had to do it and I couldn't be prouder or happier. I feel so accomplished and I feel that I can do anything, it's such a rewarding feeling! The workshop is amazing, Matt explains everything in a very detailed way and the videos are really helpful, we can see and understand everything and follow along as we go. I would definitely recommend it!
I took this workshop for the second time as prep for SheCodesPlus and SheCodesReact. It was as much fun as the first time. Loved the 100% online model. Looking forward to building on what I learned.

The SheCodes workshop was very well structured, with step-by-step videos that explain everything in an easy to understand way. I was expecting to learn a little bit more of the languages, but i already knew them, so my expectations were high. I think that we should have learned more in this last week, because we didn't learn anything new in this last week. Besides that it was a very good experience, the classes are amazing, easy to understand and to learn correctly code.

I had a great time learning the basics and discovering new capabilities. You can do it at your own pace which is perfect!
SheCodes Plus was a beautiful challenge. There were ups and down in trying to understand Javacript but the videos, the Slack channel and the challenges really help develop the skill the right way. The final project it is a great way to really put everything together and test your mindset and skills. I couldn't recommend it more.
I've been having a pretty busy and challenging life, but SheCodes has made it possible for me to add coding to my habilities. I still have a lot to learn, but these 3 weeks have taught me that coding is something fun, creative and can be learnt even if you study and have a day job. Thank you so much for making this kind of fun, simple and still challenging learning possible for so many people!

I never believed that I could ever understand coding in life. But Matt has an incredible talent to turn things simple and easy. The course could have more content in the third week since the project does not take much time. But in general, I recommend the workshop to anyone who, like myself, wishes to have a basic notion of coding.

Shecodes Plus is a difficult workshop, since it is available for beginners, I think it should include more support to improve the learning experience. All in all, very good tools to learn, but difficult for students starting in the coding world.
It was very interesting since this were a very unknown world to me! Maybe it'll be something to explore further.
This experience has been incredible! This was my first time ever learning to code and I loved it! It's so fun creating from nothing and trying to find mistakes and their solutions. The only thing I would change would be to make the workshop more demanding.
I would really recommend this three-week workshop of SheCodes!! Matt's way of teaching is very efficient and simple so it is very easy to understand and put what you learned into action. The homework helps you put into practice what you just learned, which is great since you learn best by doing. By the time I reached my final project, I felt much more confident imagining what I wanted my page to look like and what I had to code to achieve it! It has been very fun to learn front-end coding π€. I am looking forward to continue this experience and start SheCodes Plus! π©πΌβπ»

It's a great way to start coding. The exercises are correctly created to promote a challenge and let you apply all the knowledge gathered during the lessons. You have here enough knowledge to start to use code in your daily life, more focused on web design.
I've always been interested in coding, but always feared it wouldn't be for me... SheCodes has totally changed that! I think it is very clearly explained (thank you Matt!) and programmed, while still challenging and fun. Now knowing how everything on the internet is made - so cool! I had tons of fun. Yes, thereβs definitely some frustrating times but all the support you get from the community and Matt alike, just gets you going! I knew zero to zilch about Code and now I feel like a competent ninja, inspecting different websites to identify what we learn throughout the workshop. Itβs a great place to start if you want to figure out if youβll like coding or not, and venture this vast world. Iβll be upgrading soon and I absolutely recommend it to anyone.

SheCodes lessons are clear and concise and a practical way to learn a little bit of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I loved the way it's organized with small homework for every new subject.

I absolutely loved this course! I highly recommend it: the lessons are short, each content is given step by step. At the end of each lesson we have the challenges, that allow us to verify in practice what we have learned in theory. Matt explains each content clearly, in an easy way to understand. I never lost my enthusiasm, instead I became more and more motivated to learn, and the proof of that is that I will be attending SheCodes PlusReact!

SheCodes is a great way to get started into coding. The exercises allowed me to put into practice what I learned and discover new things along the way, which is essencial when doing a practical activity.
