Before starting this course, I was affraid that I was not able to complete all the tasks and, at the same time, understand the basics of coding. During the firsts classes, I understood that this course is perferct to all women that are begining to understand coding language. At this moment, I feel that I can include the basics of coding on my competences. For me, this is important not just to professional proposes, but also to personal achievements.
SheCodes workshop has been an amazing experience. In only 3 weeks I've learned HTML, CSS and a bit of JavaScript. I think I'll definetely continue this journey. Super approved!
The Plus course is a true challenge but gives you a great overview of what to expect if you decide to invest and make a future of web development! It is challenging, and sometimes it gets frustrating but when you get to understand how things work it is gratifying. I would recommend the Plus course to everyone that whats to understand what coding is about! I l look forward to moving to the next step - React!

This was so fun! I was able to apply everything that I have learning during the first workshop, plus other new features that will definetly be very useful! During the classes I was able to use tools and procedures that are applied in "the real world". After completing the final project I was very proud to have built an application with so many awsome features. Once again, Matt was an excellent tutor, and the whole SheCodes team were super nice. After finishing the workshop I was afraid that I would not be able to finish Plus and later React but the small steps in each video and each homework helped me to realize that I was able and it became a lot more gratifying to finish each stage. I'm really excited to start React!

I had the best experience during the 3 weeks of the workshop: Matt is a great instructor and the rest of the team is super helpful and supportive. For years I considered dwelling into to the Web Development world. In my teens, thanks to the social media craze, I learned how to read basic HTML and CSS, but never learned how to properly do it from scratch. Years went by, and I ended up studying International Relations and Economics, but I knew since I was younger that I truly enjoyed and lost track of time when I was coding. The idea of creating something visible based on languages and my creativity always fascinated me, and thanks to SheCodes, now I am certain that this is the right path for me, and my journey in coding is just beginning.
This was an amazing experience! I am really grateful at how much I accomplished with this workshop and I look forward to continue to learn more about coding and expand my mind and learn new skills along the way. Considering my background, I never expected to like or understand coding but this workshop completely changed my perception. SheCodes is truly an amazing project, I had lots of fun learning about coding and it is exciting to see all the little changes you're making in your work in real time. The videos are vey straightforward, you can easily keep up and help via Slack is super fast! I truly enjoyed being able to work at my own pace and take time to apprehend all the new information. I was looking to start my journey onto programming and when SheCodes popped up on my Instagram I knew what I had to do and I couldn't be happier and couldn't recommend it more! The lessons are super short and easy to follow, you practice every single thing you learn and you get to really get into the basics of coding. The SheCodes Workshop it's a great course if you want to learn the basics of HTML and understand the language of coding. The lessons are easy to follow and comprehend. However, I wish the exercises were a little bit more challenging. The last week was an overview of the previous lessons and I was expecting a bit more additional knowledge.
The first three weeks of the SheCodes workshop are quite interesting and also challenging for those who have no programming experience. I feel that in three weeks I learned much more than I expected and will be able to put into practice many of the concepts learned. Looking forward to the next few weeks!
I've learnt so much with this workshopπ Matt is a great teacher so, the classes are well guided and explained. For the questions I had during the courses, the Slack community was very supportive and prompt (JS pun π) to help. I recommend this course to everyone who wants to start coding, no matter in which coding language. Specifically to those who are afraid of coding and think it's too hard to learn! This is certainly a good way to start because making a website (landing page in this case) using HTML, CSS and JS is actually fun and interactive. So you won't be bored and you keep going to achieve the defined small goals during this course. I personally really enjoyed it.
The course is really well structured and easy to follow. The different challenges and the knowledge taught throughout the course is really practical and there is a gradual build-up to the final project. I thought I would be overwhelmed given that I had little to no experience programming but it was very intuitive and easy to follow. The community on slack is really nice and always ready to help. SheCodes is the only coding workshop that I have been trought that I was really passion about. Matt is a greeeat teacher, the exercises are simple (but not so simple). I'm a biomedical scientist. I finish my degree two years ago, but never found a job as a biomedical scientist in my country, Portugal. So now, I'm looking for new passions, and coding is becoming one of them! This course was very hepfull, because I didn't understant nothing of coding, until now!

It's quite impressive how in just three weeks coding doesn't feel like a foreign language anymore. It's exciting to think of all the possibilities to apply this new skill to my design work.
I have no words to describe how SheCodes made me learn something completely new and from scratch since April. My first SheCodes Workshop was supposed to be in Porto (4-5th April) instead it was a full weekend online and it was awesome! Even far away i felt connected. I already had some experience on back end languages and was very happy with this workshop.
Despite already having some coding experience and my goal being to take the more advanced courses, I really enjoyed this introductory workshop! It made me understand in a much clearer way how HTML and CSS work. I liked the teaching method and would 100% recommend this workshop for anyone who's never coded before.
I must say I wasn't sure I would have the necessary time and availability to dive into a completely new skill, especially so out of my comfort zone. Fast forward 3 weeks and I'm proud to say that I successfully completed this course. I look forward to more opportunities like this and to keep learning and applying what I've learned in this course!

By far the best coding course I ever tried! After months using youtube, free and paid platforms, SheCodes was able to finally answer by most basic questions and give me an excellent base to start my journey with coding. And the best thing, it was all in only 3 weeks. I'm ready to start workshop number 2!
