I really enjoyed this course!
Having neatly zero knowledge of programming language before march 2020, in a couple of weeks through SheCodes and SheCodes Plus courses I managed to start taking my baby steps on the programming world. SheCodes Plus is a huge step forward, compared to SheCodes introduction. I would highly recommend taking this next level to get more confident and comfortable with CSS and HTML, but mostly to develop your JavaScript Skills. On SheCodes plus, not only you learn the tolls, skills and resources to be more independent in coding. You also learn how to use GitHub, host your projects online and, more importantly understand how these tools can also help you boost your CV and showcase your projects to potential employers! I cannot describe how helpful and how much did I learned during these last 8 weeks. It was extraordinary and allowed me to feel so much more empowered. Now, I can't wait to proceed with React! Again, I find Matt a really good tutor and the supporting Slack Team extraordinary. They have been an undeniable asset on this journey.
Right when I entered the first workshop, I knew I wanted to go further into coding so I applied for SheCodes Plus. What a ride! It's such a wonderful thing to know that we are capable of always pushing ourselves more and more... The videos are very easy to follow and there's always someone to guide us through our questions and help us achieve our goals! Thank you once again to Matt and his team! Next: React πͺ!

I was curious about coding for a while and decided to give it a try. Since I knew nothing about coding, it was a great learning experience to learn the basics. The course is very enjoyable, it's not really demanding (however you'll have to google some stuff but it's quite easy to do it). At the end you'll end up wanting to learn more π€ Highly recommend for someone who is curious about coding and has no previous knowledge about it.
I heard about SheCodes through an event in my university and I realized that could be a good idea for someone who has no knowledge about computers and programming. During these 3 weeks, I had a lot of fun because I combined two things that I really like: puzzles and logic, and created a passion for coding Thank you Matt Delac for believing in girls that also can learn how to code .
This SheCodes Workshop is great for beginners, in the sense that it teaches the necessary bases for web development. It's really enganging seeing that we have challenges and homeworks, but it can also be slow-paced if you're really into it. Regardless, it's a really well structed intro to coding!

SheCodes Plus was a great experience! In a short time you are able to create a functioning app! I found the process extremely rewarding, as you go back and forth with the coding of your app and the staff is always super helpful with all your doubts! Sincerely recommend!
I did the 3 weeks workshop and I wanted to learn, practice and to know more about coding. This learning experience has been better than I ever expected. It really challenged me. With online workshops sometimes is hard to stay motivated, but the challenges, the homeworks, the SheCodes team and the Slack chat makes it easy. The SheCodes team provides all the support that we need during the all workshop and Matt is a great instructor. I loved it and look forward to the next workshop.

I feel that I've learned a lot in these past three weeks. The lesson content it's easy to understand, it's really good that you can practice with exercises and homework at every step that you make. I can now understand how the base of Html, CSS and JavaScript works and thanks do that I felt confident to challenge myself and create the final project in which I was able to learn, understand and code something new besides everything that I've learned during the past three weeks. Learning how to code had been on my mind for a while now and SheCodes seemed like the perfect way to start. I enjoyed the fact that the classes were always extremely practical and straight to the point. Also, the exercises were quite useful to consolidate all the knowledge and put it into practice. My personal favorite was the final project because I was actually able to build something from scratch! I totally recommend SheCodes for anyone who is interested in this subject. Expect lots of learning but also lots of fun :)

I started SheCodes knowing absolutely nothing about code. 3 weeks later I know enough to know that I can get better, study harder, and invest in a new career.
In the beginning of my journey, I wasn't familiar with any of the languages I knew I was going to study. I was a simple 12ΒΊ grade student that had little to no understanding of what programming actually was. After I finished this training and completed all the challenges, including the final project, I felt very accomplished and I felt that I finally understood the basics of programming, an area that I want to further explore and, possibly one day, master .

During this quarantine I've decided to improve my skills and I joined the SheCodes workshop! It was an amazing learning journey, with a lot of new knowledge and challegings. I definitely recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to understand the basics of coding. Although I donΒ΄t use it on a daily basis at a professional level, as a marketing manager I always had the curiosity and the willingness to customize webpages on my own. With this workshop, I definitely was able to understand how it works. Besides that, It was super fun and challenging to code during these few weeks.

Brilliant! I had been toying with the idea of studying code for a while but I was reluctant as I had no previous experience whatsoever with coding and I had no idea if it would be something I could actually do, or enjoy. I watched the SheCodes Express and decided that I would give it a go. It turns out I enjoyed this 3 weeks more than I was expecting as the videos are easy to follow, Matt gives you great advice and if we get stuck, we can always count on the team to help us out on Slack. Uau! This workshop was such an adventure! I loved every part of it... There is something really unique and special about coding and seeing one's ideias become reality with a "simple" line of code. I know what you are thinking... "SIMPLE?? Hummm Hummm...Have you forgotten about "addEventListener" or "function whatIsWrongWithMyCode"???" No I havenΒ΄t! And yes, I will have to admit that it was not that simple all the times... Therefore I shall rephrase it to "challenging yet adventurous!" There is something really unique and special about coding and seeing one's ideias become reality with a "challenging yet adventurous" line of code (Indeed, much more accurate!) But in the end, I really enjoyed this workshop and I canΒ΄t wait to learn more about coding. I am pretty sure that IΒ΄ve made my team of Developers proud! I highly recommend this workshop to anyone that wants to start on this area and learn the basic of coding. Besides Matt being an excellent tutor, the workshop is designed for you to learn step by step, you can learn to your rhythm and manage your time during the week. Besides, you can rely on extra help from the community and by SheCodes. I have been overseeing as a client, website projects for almost 20 years working with the best creative and development agencies in Portugal. More recently, I jumped the fence and had a brief experience as a Senior Project Manager in one such agency. I was always curious about website development and finally decided to learn the basics. It was an amazing experience, SheCodes is extremely well organized, and there is a perfect balance between classes and homework. Ultimately not only I have a much greater understanding of frontend development, but also its complexity. Although I do not plan to become a developer myself, I am sure that what I have learned will play an important role in managing future projects. Additionally, it has given me a heightened respect for developers' work.

Learning code has always been something that I wanted to do. However, most of the courses over there are not built for absolute beginners and sometimes it could be frustrating because they are too fast or too complex for someone who just started. However, at SheCodes is completely different. You could learn at your own pace, the lessons are very clear and you have the chance to ask all the questions you may need. Matt built a great workshop where he explains everything step by step for people who don't know anything about code which help us to truly understand what we are doing. I attended SheCodes Workshop on a weekend and found that the way SheCodes teaches coding is very accessible and fun to learn, even for total beginners, which is my case. You get quite rewarded in each step you accomplish and always want to learn more further you do. Highly recommended if you would like to start discovering the world of coding π
I found this course very very interesting and I highly recommend it to whoever wants to start digging into programming. It is completely different from other online courses, as many of those are purely "academic", with no direct interaction between student/professor. I also find very important the brainstorm with other students in the course private chat. I missed on this course to have in every HW a challenge and also a super challenge that would "oblige" us to think out of the box and turn things naturally more complex. It would also require some extra work for us!

Being part of SheCodes as a student has given me more insight to what this area can really offer. Learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript is fun and not at all complicated, as long as you insist and encourage yourself every day. I loved the course and how is devided by topics. Every video is very nicely explained and easy to understand and the excercises after each video is perfect to practice. It will be very usefull what we have learned for the future and to continue studying.

An extremely interesting program and the flexibility to do it whenever we have the time is great, as I work during the day and did it mostly at night or weekends! This was a very nice workshop. I definitely started understanding better the logic behind coding. Maybe it would have been good for us to practice more, for example, with exercises on this third week as well. But overall, I was happy I did it and I'm inclined to try the next ones.

With the start of this pandemic I started to think about what I would do with so much free time. Fortunately a friend showed me Shecodes and, although I thought I wouldn't be able to, I took the chance and learned a new skill. I finish this course very happy and much richer. I have attended SheCodes, SheCodes Plus and React and it wasn't always easy but it was worth every second! It's the most rewarding feeling when you start figuring out a language and are able to create whatever you want.
Ridiculously good. SheCodes is the an incredible platform to kickstart your experience in coding through its set of workshops. Its learning platform, slack community and support from the teachers is what I believe stands out the most when compared to other courses.
I loved to go over all the learning about React again and being able to see how much easier everything already flows and being able to go a few steps further. And the good news are the further you go, the easier it seems. Thanks so much Matt and JoΓ£o for the extra tips.
Great course, easy to follow and quite a lot of exercises and this allows you to really absorb the concepts and knowledge! For the price point and time frame, I think you will find no other course this good! Loved it!
