SheCodes workshop is an amazing course and a unique opportunity to get introduced to the coding world. I found the weekend course absolutely amazing. Matt is an excellent teacher, all units of the course were well paced and at the end I found myself confident on my coding skills and ability. I definitly thing this course enabled me to open my eyes and widen my horizons on the web development field.

I really liked SheCodes Plus course because you can build your own vanilla application end to end, while learning step by step with classes and challenges. At the same time you can ask for help and help other people in the same course, which is great!
SheCodes Plus gave me a chance to learn more about coding and really fall in love with the process of building something from scratch through a few lines of code.

SheCodes is a great workshop for beginners to fully understand how HTML, CSS and Javascript works. I always tried to learn code by myself but the aproach you have witch a teacher explaining it is very different than just being alone learning. Matt has a lot of patience and I learned a lot with his classes!
The workshop was really well structured and gave me a first look into HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Matt explains very well and the hands-on exercises are close to his examples, but require a bit of adaptation, which is great to not only reproduce, but also think by yourself. I would highly recommend this course for coding beginners.

A workshop that help, not only women but everyone, keep in touch in program language in a fun and easy way yo learn. The time of boring coding need to be over.
This workshop could change completely my ignorant way of thinking: I concluded that coding doesn't have to be necessarily Maths. I didn't really have expectations when I registered. The instructor Matt was very clear and really knew how to catch people's attention! I've ended up thinking that maybe it's not too absurd to think about future contacts with coding. I'm proud of what I did, I loved it!
You should try it even if you're not thinking to become a developer. You'll get enough web design/development literacy in a weekend to define your point of view on programming and make better judgments and decisions in what concerns using web tools.

My feedback is very positive. As a person who never coded before, and that only started learning at the SheCodes Workshop, I found it was easy to keep up with the course schedule for each week (even working on a full time consulting job during the week). The way the course is structured, with classes divided in small videos, each with a corresponding challenge to help you put in practice what you have just learned, makes it easier to learn the concepts and also to keep you motivated to work on your project and reach the end result. Β I never thought I could build my own weather app, and I made it! I really recommend this course if you have the aim to develop your HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills, and look also for opportunities to learn React.

It was a great restart for me! As an engineer I took some coding courses at the university, but the way they were taught was neither attractive nor practical. SheCodes has a practical approach that allows us to test everything we learn and ask questions whenever we need to! I recommend this WS to all girls who feel that web development is something they would like to try, as it is a tool that requires only a computer and the internet. With this kind of skill we can complement something we do on a day-to-day basis with something we can capitalize on remotely.

An excellent way to learn to code even without any basic knowledge, since it could be easily turned into an overwhelming experience. Also, the teaching method is very practical and the fact that Matt is an experienced full stack developer is a big bonus, explaining every line of the codes and advising about the dos and donβts.

The workshop opened multiple possibilities for professional development on several dimensios. The way of teaching is fun, extremely complete, high leveled and at a fast pace.
SheCodes is worth everything you put into it. I had tried to learn to code so many times on my own, but I would ultimately get discouraged or bored because none of the courses provided a well-rounded overview of the basics in such a short amount of time as SheCodes. Seeing how HTML, CSS and JS fit together to make a website lit a spark inside me. Everything seemed to make more sense. I feel empowered to learn more and totally capable of becoming a developer, now that I can see that it's not a question of intelligence, but of putting in the work.

At first, I was nervous about trying something that I had no knowledge about but I ended loving it. As a Product Owner I struggled to fully understand the developers on my team. SheCodes teached me that coding is not a crazy monsters and if you are curious enough a weekend is what it takes to ignite the coder in you.

A few years ago, speaking English was a skill valued in the market. Currently, it is the minimum required. I believe we are seeing the same phenomenon with "programming", specially for those working in the field of engineering and technology. Considering that a gap in my academical education, I decided to apply to "SheCodes" workshop. Of course I don't feel a programmer after the workshop but I feel that I have the tools to start learning by myself!
