What a great way to start the new year! I recommend this workshop for whomever is thinking about starting to learn code. I really loved the way the workshop is taught. Matt structures the course in a way that allows you to learn and build your skills. I am looking forward to learning more!
The SheCodes team's knowledge never fails to impress me. Honestly, I would not be able to complete this project without Matt, the slack community, and the SheCodes team help. After completing SheCodes Basics workshop, I felt accomplished and motivated to keep going. SheCodes Plus was really intense and a roller coaster of emotions, at the same time that I was happy with my progress, I was also panicking trying to find what was causing my code to break (it was misplaced dash btw). To me this workshop feels a lot more "professional", but just like SheCodes Basics, it was so easy to follow the lessons, and there is always someone to help if needed. The lessons are short and straightforward, you can watch as many times as you want and take breaks whenever you feel tired. I love the way you can just sit and learn, this entire workshop was really a privilege.
I really enjoyed the beginner's workshop by SheCodes. I find it easy to follow the classes, and to understand the content. And I'll definitely consider signing up for future workshops.

I truly enjoyed building the Weather App, I struggled sometimes I'm not going to lie. However, if we start thinking and trying to find solutions we'll get there. Fun and entertaining, SheCodes Basics is perfect as a first approach to coding, and helps building a solid initial knowledge to those who are moving the first steps in this area.
It took me a while to decide to start this course. I'm glad I've finally decided to move forward. I didn't imagine learning so much in just 3 weeks. I consider it a great program.
I really enjoy learning with Matt! I thought I wouldn't be able to code, but surprisingly in a few hours, I was already doing it and learning a lot :) The exercises are fun, and the method of learning and putting it right away into practice makes all the difference because I got motivated to continue. The videos are easy to follow, and everything is explained effectively. In the future, I hope I can join the next level!

SheCodes Plus was an amazing experience, when I first started I felt a bit insecure when getting stuck on the homework, but with the help of the amazing team of SheCodes I was able to push through and complete the app. I will be working on improving the app with all the tools this workshop gave me. I found the course SheCodes Basics course was a great start for beginners to test the waters in coding. The weekly deadlines helped me to stay on track, but I also liked the flexibility of being able to extend if needed. I loved that I could change the watch speed / pause / rewatch lessons and found that the SheCodes team were always fast to respond to my queries when they arose. A fun workshop, allowing to decompress after a stressing work week.
I started this journey with SheCodes Basics and decided to continue with She Codes Plus. No regrets, the course is getting gradually challenging and made me want to learn more and more.

I've really enjoyed my time coding with SheCodes! The way Matt teaches is clear and engaging, it was realy easy to follow the course through videos! I started the course with zero knowledge of coding, and to think that in 3 weeks I've created a website landing page of my portfolio.
It was really nice to know a little bit of the basics of coding with SheCodesBasic, from here you are able to grow and learn more. After this it's easier to research new languages or get to know more about the ones they teach you.

I loved learning how to code. When I have free time again, I will do the workshops SheCodes Plus.
I am absolutely astounded by the program. In just a couple of weeks, I went from knowing nothing about web development to being able to put together a simple website! It's such an amazing feeling seeing my creation come to life. Matt does an amazing job of both teaching and equipping you with finding answers from reputable sources. The team is also pretty fast in responding to any questions in the slack group. I'm so grateful for this program. It has given me the confidence that with hard work and dedication, I can get into the field even in my mid-thirties. I'm looking forward to the next SheCodes program!

I was a little wary to do a programming course because, before joining SheCodes, I tried others and fail to understand most of the commands. I really enjoyed this little bootcamp! It's a deepdive into web development and really lets you get a feel for the day-to-day of an engineer. I enjoyed watching the videos, found the challenges engaging and had lots of fun completing the final coursework!

I was able learn code in a easy and pratical way. SheCodes Basic gives you a great base to build on - wether by teaching you how to do it, wheter teaching you how you can find the solution for the problems we encounter.
Superb! I am amazed of how, lets say, easy it was. But I think its like this, because every lesson is really understandable and basically "chewed" for you you just need to have a passion and desire for it. It was a well-designed course. Over the weeks I built my meteorology project, step-by-step, to understand and consolidate the given material. It was a more challenging course, I had an easier time with HTML5 and CSS3 than with JS. Along the way I had a mix of emotions, enthusiasm, and frustration, but in the end, it was enriching. Excellent work to the entire SheCodes team.
For several years I have been wondering whether I should try coding, but I didn't have confidence in myself. I finally subscribed for SheCodes workshop - and that was one of the best decisions I took lately. I'm seventeen and about to finish highschool. I'm not really sure about what career I want nor about the degree I want to choose in university. SheCodes helped me to broaden my horizons to new skills and a new exciting hobby. I had the idea most of us had, that coding was hard and you had to be extra smart and I got to put that barrier down. I'm extremely happy I enroled in this three-week program and I'm sure I'm going to use this new knowledge in my future. To all the SheCodes team, my biggest thank you :)
I did a lot of research on tech courses before doing the SheCodes workshop and I am glad I choose it! Matt makes it pleasant to learn how to code on your own time. For sure it would be nice if everyone had time to invest in a new skill, but we are all busy so the purpose of the workshops - that is not extremely pushy - is great!

This course was very helpful for me as a Product manager. I got to experience the engineering side of development and learned valuable insights. Regarding the course itself, I feel some concepts are explained in a slow manner, while some more important ones are glanced over. In the end, I feel positive about the course and what you are providing to the community, so please keep on improving it!

I have really enjoyed this Basics Course. Everything was properly explained and all doubts that I could possibly have, I could just simply connect with the community and tutors and ask for help. I've learnt programming in university but I've always struggled with it and never felt comfortable doing projects. I recognize my weaknesses so I decided to sign up for the SheCodes Basics course and at first I was a little apprehensive but as the classes progressed I realized that the way Matt explains the theory is quite intuitive, which makes the process a lot easier. The challenges that are also proposed at the end of all classes are essential to consolidate the knowledge I acquired. I really enjoyed the course and will certainly sign up for the next one. It is with great pleasure that I can say that after this course I learned to like programming and it no longer scares me!!

This part of the workshop was much more challenging and some lessons were even difficult to grasp but it was very well explained, I only had to watch the lesson again and practice to get the handle of it. It all felt very rewarding by the time I finished this project. Highly recommend this! Support has been amazing.
I feel like I learned a lot, however nothing is very taught in depth After the HTML and CSS weeks I did the FreeCodeCamp challenges and felt like I was way better prepared However, Matt explains things really well and gives great tips on how to be more efficient while coding, I just wish the lessons had more depth and more small challenges.
The course is excellent! Super accessible and easy to understand. I have gained new skills and and had so much fun. SheCodes has been a great way to kickstart my coding experience. I highly recommend SheCodes Workshops!
