Great introductory workshop! Loving the study/practice method! Going to the next one straight away.

Very well organised and explained!! It was my first time coding and it was very easy to understand with the way the workshop was built!

It was quite of a journey! from moments of pure anger and frustration up to joy and excitement with unbelief that I've written these pieces of code and functionality! Really glad to comprehend this new knowledge and understand the digital world in more depth. I hope I'll find great use of this while managing my teams :)

Excelent course for a more in depth learning of HTML, CSS and Javascript. Final project (Vanilla Weather App) allows you to really put into practice what you learn throughout the course.

It was an amazing journey! The course is very organized and it's easy to learn while working. I loved everything and I'm very thankful to Matt and everyone that made SheCodes possible.

This is a new and interesting experience. I enjoyed so much that I will continue my journey with SheCodes.

I LOVED doing this workshop! 🤩 With SheCodes, I discovered that coding can be so much fun. I never thought much about programming and coding because I had that misconception that it is extremely hard because there is loads of math involved... I was so wrong! Matt has a really special way of teaching - everything seems easy (because it can be) and uncomplicated. The modules are very well organised, and there is no math involved!! Also all the little challenges and homework keeps you motivated and helps you putting things into practise. My background is in nursing and marketing - so I was completely clueless about HTML, CSS and JavaScript. But now I feel confident. I've built a basic website from scratch, and had so much fun doing it! I look forward to learning more, and maybe (who knows?!) I'll get serious about web development.

Amazing workshop, very easy to follow, and in the end I was able to code an actual webpage from scratch! I loved it so much, that I completed the workshop in 3 days, instead of 3 weeks. Highly recommend it, and I look forward to starting the next workshop!

Found this course fantastic. It allowed me to learn in a fun way. I had started by attempting other JavaScript courses but found it a little hard to follow and keep the enthusiasm. This course is made in a very nice and simple way and you apply everything you have learnt as you move along. This helps the learning process and putting everything together. Sometimes it was actually addictive :). I have done the Basics and now the Plus. Maybe in the near future, I can do the next ones too. Thank you SheCodes!!

Easy to follow and very well prepared lessons and tutorials.

I really enjoyed learning how to code! The classes are so good that makes learning code a not so complicated thing like i thought.

As a Full Stack Developer, SheCodes was extremely important to learn the very first steps to get me where I am right now. I learned HTML, CSS and JavaScript building applications.

SheCodes basic is a great introduction to coding. Very well explained and structured the platform very intuitive.

When I started this course three weeks ago, I didn't believe that coding could be interesting and possible to learn for a beginner. This was my first time ever trying to code and Matt was a great instructor with straight forward and easy to follow lessons. I really enjoyed the course and had fun learning from it and from other students on Slack. This course was extra special because for the first time in months I felt like I was able to achieve something without feeling overwhelmed or discouraged and that meant a lot for me. I really enjoyed this course and I’m glad that I decided to join SheCodes. I'm a complete beginner, but Matt is a great teacher and everything is clearly explained. I found all the lessons easy to understand and completing the challenges helped me build confidence in my skills. I'm so excited to start the next workshop!

This workshop has given me a general knowledge of coding, allowing me to know what's out there coding-wise. It gave me the big picture of the possibilities and limitations (if there are any!) of coding. I am delighted to be able to build a fully functional application, to have learnt technical terms and most importantly to understand the logic behind coding. Although I don't wish to become a developer myself, I am pretty sure this knowledge will come in handy in all my future professional endeavours. Regarding the workshop structure, in spite of feeling somewhat overwhelmed by some weeks' workload, I find it positive to have a weekly-basis step-to-step approach to the workshop, otherwise, it would be easy to lose rhythm and fall back on progress. Thank you very much!

I got to know SheCodes through a friend, Sandra, who shared her enthusiasm for the course. From the organization of SheCodes to Matt's ability to teach I thought it would be impossible to exceed my expectations but that's exactly what happened! It was a great challenge to complete the SheCodes Basics workshop, especially because coding was always something I was very interested in but I had absolutely no knowledge about. It wasn't easy, but I learned a lot in this workshop and found out I'm truly entusiastic about coding! I would definetely recommend this workshop to everyone that is interested in this area. Taking the workshop was really fun and I learned a lot. I'm glad that I decided to give it a chance because it doesn't need to be so complicated, to learn how to code. I'd definately recommend this to anyone who is interested in coding, even if absolute beginners to it. This has made me want to get more into coding.

I really enjoyed the videos and the challenges, as they are short but full of good content, always giving new information and new things to learn. Sometimes it is frustrating when I don't understand why something is not working ... it takes a lot of trial and error to get to make things work... but when it does work, it seems like I'm making magic and it is a good feeling to know that I can create something from scratch using coding! Thank you for sharing this knowledge with us!

I never thought it would be possible to learn to code, and Matt makes the process less terrifying.

I could not help myself but sign up for the SheCodes Plus course after having done and loved the Basics course. This was a really fun way of learning how to code, everyday it was something different and it was great to see the end result! I'm still curious to keep learning and progressing. Matt is such a great teacher, can't wait for the next courses!

During these three weeks, I learned that coding can be for those who want to learn it and that it is not as difficult as thought. Matt uses very simple language so everyone can understand what is being explained during the lessons. I've enjoyed everything that I learned and I think that I will be investing in my coding skills from now on!

It was a great adventure to learn basic of coding and starting from complete beginner I discovered I really enjoy it! Lessons were very clear and well explained However taking course in a summer was definitely challenging! ;) As per structure five hours per week for me was not enough because I like to take things slowly and repeat... So definitely option to delay was very useful! Highly recommend!

I loved every minute of this workshop! By far the best online classes I have followed so far. It is very fun to see a direct result of your new skills learned with each chapter. Very easy to follow and with a good balance of explanations and exercise, with the exercises having the exact right difficulty. When struggling, the community of fellow students in the digital tools makes it feel like you are not alone and you can get help whenever you get stuck. Looking forward to follow up with the more advanced workshop and improve these newly learned skills!

Great course. The classes are short, concise and so to the point that you never feel lost. You can immediately apply what you learn and feel accomplished at the end. As someone who took a C++ course in college, I never thought I would enjoy programming. I guess it has a lot to do with who is teaching. I highly recommend it.

It is quite impressive how much I improved at understanding coding, especially Javascript. Each lesson made me more comfortable with it and now I feel ready and excited for the next step!

We were able to understand well the characteristics of each language (HTML, CSS and JAVA). I believe it is quite accessible, and I believe I have acquired good basic knowledge of these three languages. I'm looking forward to the next step.

Loved this responsive course, I got to learn how to make a website mobile and SEO friendly. It helped me gain confidence in exploring my creative side when creating a website.

This workshop was very challenging but totally worth it! I learned a lot!

I wouldn't say I like the fact of sharing my personal details over here, but ok, at least I didn't pay for that. Especially since I had to upload my {profile} picture, not single time but twice, I am not sure if I signed up for a new social media or programming course.

SheCodes basics has been a really great help so far for learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Will most likely do more SheCodes courses in the near future.

It was a great learning experience. Can't wait to continue the other workshops!
