Completing the She Codes React course has been an incredibly empowering experience. Before starting, I had little confidence in my ability to build interactive web applications, but this course completely changed that. This was a great course - learning about how to make the world clock was a really interesting project.
Learning Python with SheCodes was an exciting experience. The lessons and exercises really push you to think in a clearer and more structured way. I personally do not think that I would have learn this skills just by reading it somewhere. The way the lessons are explained makes it easier to grasp the concept of coding. I'm exited to continue learning with SheCodes and break into the technology field.
This SheCodes challenge was one of the most demanding yet rewarding parts of the course. This workshop was a great foray into AI for beginners! However, there is no education about the environmental costs of using AI. The course could be improved by informing students so that they can become responsible technologists.
The add-on is a good learning tool that smoothly guides you through completing the project. I had fun.

This was a huge milestone for me. I made every mistake possible, repeated containers, threw classes around like they were free, and named things with zero meaning until my code turned into a mountain of classes with no meaning. The project looked great on the outside, but behind the scenes it was heavy, messy, and absolutely not maintainable. So I refactored it just about 20 times. In the end, I learned more than I expected not just about layout and my old nemeses (positioning and grid π ), but about writing clean, maintainable code.
This project was a game changer, it required me to go back to previous workshops and actually understand the concept of React. And I liked the fact that our instructor was using a different API than ours. So this was not just following our instructor it was actually testing, deleting, coding and deleting again and recapping before it all made sense. The little struggle was worth it and I am confident in my skills now.
Python, so far, has been so much easier for me to understand than JavaScript and I've really enjoyed learning more and applying my new knowledge to the AI Roadtrip Planner project.
Even though I took time to finish, missed deadlines but this really helped me. I know have a background of html.
Iβve just completed the basic Python course, and while I have to admit that the instructor was right: Pythonβs interface can look a bit dull and not very visually exciting. I still learned a great deal from the lessons. The course started off simple, but it gradually became more complex, especially toward the end, so Iβm proud to have worked through it and finished. Even though the visual side of Python isnβt flashy, the logic and structure behind the language are really powerful, and I feel like I now have a strong foundation to build on. Iβm glad I stuck with it and completed the course. π

I joined SheCodes feeling quite intimidated by code, but this workshop changed that completely. This was a wonderful course project. Matt's explanations is so clear. We built the project one step at the time. It's great that it's recorded, so when the recording screen doesn't match what I see on my computer, I can back the recording and analyze where it went wrong. Often it's a typo. Python coding is a great tool to add to my skillset. Hence, I enrolled in this class to learn the basics. At my workplace, I've already started coding small projects (succesfully whoo!), though the basics I learned were far from what I need at my job (btw I need to use pyvisa, panda etc.) I have the basics to get me started, I just need to lookup the proper syntax, some googling and reading scpi commands from the manuals. This is great for beginners and completely digestible! AI tool is great but without knowing the basics, it's like driving an autopilot car without knowing how to drive. Happy coding!
I've completed other coding courses in the past and have learned a great deal, gaining a better understanding of what each component does. So far, I'm happy with joining this boot camp!

I loved completing another project with API integration, this time using AI! I really enjoyed learning about both and bringing them together in one project. I also appreciate the constant revision aspect of these workshops, as well as the opportunity to contribute to a new project each time.
