Impressed yet again! So easy to understand and I appreciate being able to walkthrough the topics at my own pace. I am seeing improvement in design, speed, and confidence with each project!
This first step was fundamental for me to realize that it is totally possible to learn how to code. Because of previous experiences, I was a little bit afraid to try again, but Matt makes it all seem so simple and easy that this first step was actually fun. I'm really happy with my results so far, and anxious to see what I can achieve from now on.
The coding journey has been fun, productive and yet challenging as well. I like the notion of having to deal with trial and error, puzzle solving in order to keep my mind active and healthy, fortunately that's where coding comes into play.
Another great project, definitely not easy though!
The additional workshop offered more insight into the skills and the extra projects really helped to solidify what was learned in the Basics Workshop.

The AI course was truly unique and inspiring. As someone who loves cooking and often feels homesick while living abroad, Iβve always wanted to incorporate AI into a recipe-making project. Creating an Indonesian Recipe Generator felt like the perfect choiceβit allows me to share my culture and passion for cooking with friends and family. Thanks to this project, itβs now so easy to help others try making authentic Indonesian dishes themselves.
It was so fun to create a world clock with live data from the different timezones, advancing my Javascript skills further. The more and more I use JS the better I get at doing it on my own before Matt finishes with his explanations. I'm so happy I joined this foundation when I did.

I always wanted to create my own coding but i was afraid that the coding might be really difficult and complicated. After 3 weeks in SheCodes, I find out that I can do my own coding. I am really happy and satisfied and my interest in coding are becoming bigger and bigger.

Along our educational and professional path, we start narrowing our learnings to our main interest and objective and sometimes we forget we can set ourselves to learn anything. Making this course reminded me of our capacities, of how if we have the time and the means(!), which we do not always have, unfortunately, we can learn a new set of skills, for professional growth, personal growth, or even just for fun. This was fun, this gave me new skills that I hope to put to practice in my life.

This was the hardest one yet but I really enjoyed all the homework more especially the project. It was one of those "Omg did I really do that", Matt as usual explains everything so clearly you just have to focus and go back to a lesson video if you're confused but more often than not your answer lies in rewatching the lessons.
Studying responsive coding has been an incredibly rewarding journey for me! The lessons were clear, hands on, and engaging, allowing me to learn how to build websites that adapt seamlessly to all types of screens. Very informative add on to the weather app project we worked on during SheCodes plus. I learned a lot of new concepts. From understanding natural language processing to building my own AI-powered applications, every step of the journey was hands-on and practical. The final project, where I built a Love Poem Generator, was a true highlight β it felt amazing to turn my creativity into a functional app!
Overall, I'm pleased with this course. It allowed me to see if coding was something I had enough interest in to pursue. I'm not the best self-motivator, so having the hard deadlines every week made all the difference. The lessons are in nice bite sized pieces so I didn't find myself overwhelmed.

This course offers easy-to-follow content and ample practice opportunities, making it great for building practical skills in the basics of HTML and CSS. While more specific feedback on assignments would be beneficial, the course is well-structured and effective in teaching the fundamentals.
There were some challenging concepts to learn and apply throughout this element of the course. As always, Matt kept the learning engaging and presented it in an understandable way.
Great course to learn the basics
This was a good course, I think if you have done all the other shecodes workshops like me it feels very similar to some of what we already learnt and you will get through the modules quickly. That said its a refreshing change to purely focus on backend and looking forward to getting to the advanced module now.
As I continue my journey, I realize there is always more to learnβmore advanced coding techniques and approaches that are seemingly sophisticated yet easy and smart if one understands the underlying concepts or logic. Coding can become quite challenging at times, but consistent practice, perseverance, and patience are always the keys to go through.

Workshops are great but I find can be very confusing sometimes as Matt can sometimes be difficult to follow as not all things are explained thoroughly.
I was very disappointed with Shecodes Advanced Python. The teaching style and the course content need a lot of improvement. There is not enough teaching material for 1 week. Moreover the homeworks are very easy and do not require any additional reading or trouble shooting.
