Learning about how to build clock with timezone was interesting! The instructional is always very easy to follow and learn through.
I really enjoyed the pacing of this course and actually started working right along Matt, while he was explaining different concepts. Although it's a short one, I enjoyed learning about grids and applying transform effects to images.

As a BTech college student, I had limited experience with web development before attending the SheCodes Basic workshop. I was introduced to HTML and JavaScript in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. The instructor was supportive, and the hands-on exercises helped me apply what I learned immediately. I now feel more confident in my ability to build websites and write basic code. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to get started with coding in a structured and friendly environment!

I can't express how much I enjoyed the SheCodes AI Add-on workshop. The experience was not only educational but also incredibly fun. One of the highlights for me was working with the AI API- it opened up new possibilities for integrating intelligent features into my projects. Additionally, learning how to use the Typewriter JS effect in my code was a fantastic way to add interactivity to my work. The AI generator project was rewarding. It really solidified my understanding of how AI can enhance and streamline the development process. As the saying goes, "The future belongs to those who know how to use AI as a tool to get ahead" - and I truly feel like I'm now equipped to do just that.
I loved doing this 3 week course, it was so easy to follow and the challenges were super informative and fun. I would highly recommend doing this course for anyone who is considering learning how to code, it's the perfect introduction! π
I enjoyed everything about this course, from learning a new way of thinking to the creativity and the problem solving along the way. I will definitely be signing up for more workshops.
Through this coding workshop, I learnt many new and efficient techniques of coding such as Prompt Engineering, AI APIs, AI Integration and User Experience. All in all, learning these skills will have a tremendous result in the long run.

This phase was definitely challenging but I am proud to have sailed through. The Plus Workshop was fantastic! It really helped me to build on the foundation I built for myself from the Basics Workshop. I gained advanced knowledge with vanilla JavaScript, focusing on API integration, debugging, and code structuring best practices, and was able to create a functional weather application that utilizes real-time data from multiple external APIs. I'm definitely using the project as a part of my portfolio when applying to full-time engineering roles.
SheCodes has just been amazing, from wanting to know how to code to building amazing real-life projects. I loved the journey, the learning is structured in a very beginner and expert-friendly way. Makes you have fun while learning and making progress as you go. Would recommend 10/10.
I was asked to create a project on something I am passionate about. That was a bit of a challenge, because for the life of me I could not figure out of to create it around IT. So I got thinking what, and why do I still want to carry on? My faith, I'm very passionate about my culture and background and I thought lets educate others a little. I wouldn't have completed this if SheCodes hadn't hosted a competition and gave me the opportunity to better my skills.
I highly enjoyed this course because it helps to expand my knowledge in JavaScript and it is a good experience for me. We built an interesting project for Meteo App that can be good example of JavaScript functions in real use. Our teacher prepares great video tutorials which were instrumental using in our daily projects. I am glad I took it and hope to take another in the near future.
I have gained so much knowledge and super excited for the rest of the jourmey with SheCodes. I highly recommend this course to anyone starting out. Matt is a great instructor, he simplifies things and I like the additional resources for in-depth understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This is one for the books, everytime I land on a webpage I automatically scan for what went into building it before opening the developers tools. It is challenging and the support is great.

Coding had become an unreachable skill for me until SheCodes. Matt has broken down learning to code into achievable tasks, and with repetition I am retaining more information. Now I do think I can learn to code and am excited to do so!

Joining SheCodes was the best decision I ever took, it taught me a lot about being in the technology space that it's not only about basic things but there's a lot that goes into everything that we see, even the movies that we watch. As someone who wants to be a Software developer in the near future, I definitely think SheCodes is a great way to start. And I honestly enjoyed every minute of coding, sometimes it can be challenging but it also taught me to have so much patience and perseverance and I hope to continue learning and to become the Software developer that I want to be.
SheCodes Plus was a gamechanger for me. I gained deeper understanding of JavaScript and coded my first API. It was a real pleasure to work through the challenges and finally having built my fully functioning weather app. I really became addicted to programming.

It was so amazing doing live projects.
As a digital/UI designer I wanted to get a good grasp of the back end so I can work more productively with developers. The basics course has shown me so much and will really help when I am creating wireframes and style sheets.

Responsive Add-on was another amazing course that tested your knowledge of HTML and CSS. Building a website based on a city I loved not only taught me new things but made it enjoyable at the same time.
As someone who has zero experience with coding and also does not require coding for a job, as an absolute beginner, I found the lessons challenging. Once I was able to understand each lesson and apply the code myself (and it worked!), I began to back myself a little more. I wanted to quit 20 times but kept reminding myself, this is a language and I wouldn't expect to know French or Italian perfectly after 3 weeks. I enjoy the length of the lessons and I definitely use the solutions to make any edits.

This program has been a valuable learning experience, helping me deepen my knowledge of web development. My key highlight was building an interactive Weather App, where I used a Weather API to display real-time data. Seeing the code come together into something practical was rewarding. I used Git and GitHub for version control, which helped me better manage my code. Additionally, I implemented the DevOps workflow for continuous deployment. This hands-on experience has strengthened my problem-solving and debugging skills.
Super helpful workshop - gave clear instructions about what is acceptable and unacceptable when it comes to dev portfolios and resumes.

I referenced the videos occasionally if I felt stuck but feel that the regular React workshop taught me enough to do this project independently for the majority of it. Overall highly recommend!

This one was quite challenging to go through especially during the busy holiday season but I kept pushing through. I needed a few extensions so I am grateful those were available. I still haven't got the forecast to work but I am happy to have been able to create a working weather app at last!
