My brother got me interested in coding, he always seemed happy in his bubble, working with a language only he understood. Throughout the basics program ive developed my own little bubble and golly am I happy! Learning programing languages is the beginning of a journey into data analytics and SheCodes Basics, has honestly made the pathway less scary for me.
It was a rough start again after 4 years now I'm back and motivated to finish with the help of Matt and his team.
I like the program because of videos and the exercises we have to do. But because of my ADHD status it is hard for me at times to understand what is being taught. One thing for sure is that i have gotten way farther than watching YouTube and Tik-Tok videos.
This course is perfect for professionals or full-time students with a busy schedule who need to go at their own pace. As a busy lawyer I thought it would be next to impossible to learn how to code on my own but the short pre-recorded lessons, fun challenges, and the quick responses from the Team Leads on Slack made it so much easier. I am thinking of doing the She Plus Codes Plus Course after completing the Basics course because I am so much more confident.
Another amazing experience from SheCodes! The "AI Add-on" course gave me the opportunity to create my very own AI project, which was both exciting and empowering. I also got hands-on experience working with APIs and sharpened my coding skills in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. The support from the instructors and community was incredible, making the learning process enjoyable and seamless. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to dive into the world of AI and coding!
I started SheCodes because I wanted to be able to work from home with this course I think that I'm on the right path. I learned a lot from the instructor and can't wait to learn more and become a pro developer. One of the main goals I have is to get a remote job and become a software developer.
I enjoyed working on more React projects and especially liked how this dictionary project included not only definitions, phonetics, and examples, but images as well.
SheCodes has made it so much easier for me to understand coding! In the past, I've tried so many other different online courses but I just could never understand it. But then I discovered SheCodes, and they structure all the modules so well, explain the topics well, making things easy to understand. It's very practical based, and provides easily accessible tools where you can get help instantly when you are stuck. I highly, highly recommend!!
Making time to learn and delve into coding has been challenging and interesting at the same time. It is exciting to know that i am investing in self development and skills upliftment especially in the male dominated field. Same as reading novels and drawing, coding has helped me to escape into my own imaginary world. Though i am just a mere beginner, I am very enthusiastic on this new journey.

From this workshop I've learned new things.
The Responsive lesson is the valuable lesson I've been waiting for; it teaches you to code websites that work for computer screens AND mobile devices. For the final project, we were to create a portfolio website. The site I created accomplishes the goals of the workshop and a little more, but I hope to use it to recreate my personal website instead of the site I have hosted on a web builder right now. I took inspiration from the teacher, my existing site, and other open-sourced projects from other students to create my project.
Basics Add-on was really well-designed and walks you through everything. It was a great recap of the Basics course, and I really enjoyed this course's project!

The course was nice, although I feel it is very fast-paced and not always easy to follow. I feel it would be better if the content was broke up into more sections to make it more digestible. I felt the purpose was just to build something to add to a portfolio rather than to gain independence in coding.
