I recently completed the SheCodes Course, and it was an incredible experience! I learned the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which has given me a solid foundation in web development. The course was well-structured, and the hands-on projects allowed me to apply what I learned in a practical way.
I really loved this course! I come from a fashion background and have never done coding or anything tech related but it's something I've wanted to try for a while. Before discovering SheCodes, I looked into coding courses held at university institutions which are quite expensive. A lot of them were short courses and diplomas within Computer Science, Programming and Data Analytics which required additional years of studying, prerequisites in math (which is not my strong suit) and high tuition fees. This was discouraging as they didn't fit into my schedule and I didn't want to run the risk of paying high tuition fees on a course without truly knowing whether I'd enjoy it. The SheCodes Basics course was an easy and affordable way for me to decipher whether I would actually enjoy coding without committing to a full course which can be expensive and with the risk that I might not even enjoy it. As a first time coder, there were some challenges but nothing I couldn't resolve on my own and overall I had a lot of fun so I'm excited to continue my learning! I found Matt's video tutorials were engaging and easy to follow and I appreciate that he encourages you to look up solutions to issues you may encounter online - there are lots of resources! His teaching style suited my learning style with lots of guidance along the way.

Responsive was another amazing chapter in my learning journey of becoming a front-end developer! It brings together all the learnings into one comprehensive project at the end which was challenging but also exciting at the same time. The introduction to Bootstrap was priceless and eye-opening. Responsive is where I started to feel like i could finally locate and fix my own mistakes and also research relevant parts of the code to add to my project! Thank you so much for this course, its truly so practical and hands-on that the learning just sticks :)

This was by far the most challenging SheCodes course! Not because of Matt's teaching, but because React itself is quite complex. The course is structured into manageable chunks, and Iβm proud I could create a functional React Weather App by the end.
This SheCodes Plus workshop has been a great course with lots of challenges and triumphs. It has definitely increased my understanding of interacting heavily with JavaScript and seeing the interplay of building a functioning site pulling data through the use of API. Pouring over the lines of code to find out why things aren't working and troubleshooting various strategies to make fixes to the code was daunting at times, but to see everything finally come together was quire rewarding.
I enjoyed this course! Learning about libraries like Moment.js and practicing date and time formatting was really helpful.

In recent months, Iβve integrated an AI chatbox into my daily lifeβwhether itβs for creating a financial plan, designing a workout routine, or simply answering random questions. Iβve always marveled at the complexity behind crafting something so masterful. This course provided an invaluable glimpse into the process of building an AI chatbox. While the concepts were indeed intricate, the course was structured in such a way that it remained accessible and easy to follow. It was an eye-opening and rewarding experience!

I was so excited about building my weather app and curious to explore how far I could go with it in terms of extra features and options. I also added a twist to make the workshop even more exciting for myself by figuring out how to add the weather forecast before watching the lessons. Solving this on my own was incredibly helpful in boosting my confidence, encouraging me to use my creativity to solve problems, and ensuring I didnβt blindly copy Mattβs solutions.
