I am so excited to have completed this course; I was very excited when I started doing SheCodes responsive because I realised that I was going learn how to build an entire responsive website. My instructor jammed packed this course with good and relevant skills to learn how to build a multiple page website with just CSS, HTML and bootstrap. I also got to learn about a design wireframe called Figma and learnt how to turn design into code. These workshops really teach the students by hands-on coding and learning from our own mistakes, which I think it is the perfect way to understand what you are doing. The Basic Add On workshop is something I have enjoyed doing. It has really helped me to better understand HTML, CSS and the little we have seen of JS and how to put this little knowledge together to biuld a webpage from scratch that actually looks cool, which is something I feel proud of. I am really looking forward to starting the next workshop. š

I have a really good experience with She code. The fact that they teaches you everything and you can review the videos as many times as you want to, was a real deal for me. Personally it wasn't a smooth ride because i had to tackle school work, as i am a student and the workshop at the same time but the extension of time made it easier for me. I really hope this was the beginning of great opportunities for me and other ladies who wants to venture into tech.
I think the structure of the program was highly inclusive of different learning styles and was extremely easy for a beginner to follow.
It was an incredible experience learning from Matt Delac, who provided invaluable insights on adding locations and local times to my world clock project. The collaborative spirit of the Slack community made a significant difference, offering support and encouragement throughout the process. Really great to have further expanded my knowledge on building out a website page however this time not using Bootstrap and getting more practise with CSS grids. This was something I struggled with earlier in the course therefore I really appreciated Matt adding in these tutorials so I could better understand how to use these and also make them responsive.

Before this, coding was very difficult for me. But the teachers at "she codes" helped me learn step-by-step. Now I have good coding skills and confidence to work in technology. "she codes" also connected me with other Afghan girls who love coding. This program has given me the chance to do what I love, even as a girl in Afghanistan.
