From all the workshops so far, this one had to be the hardest and most complex. It was a bit stressful but so much fun. I enjoyed building a search engine that produces real-life data. The course was quite comprehensive and designed to make us easily understand all the concepts. It had a thorough layout which also gave me creative freedom. The Weather API was well documented and made it easier for me to use APIs.
In this project, I explored advanced CSS positioning, selectors, and styling techniques. I learned how to implement search functionality within my application and investigated various methods for displaying the current date using JavaScript. I gained insights into JavaScript selectors and events, as well as how to create effective functions. Additionally, I was introduced to APIs and successfully worked with the SheCodes Forecast API, learning how to make API calls and interpreting the response object data. I practiced looping through arrays, and after much attempts, I was able to successfully display the live forecast for the week. Great project.
Matt makes coding so much fun and enjoyable. I have loved learning how to code and create a portfolio. I have learned so much and I hope to continue to grow as a developer.

I made a dictionary app using React. You can type a word and see images of this word, you can hear the pronunciation and you can see an explanation of the word with an example and synonyms. I made it look like you are watering/saving the plants.

This workshop was a great way to reinforce everything previously learned. Creating this dictionary app was a fun and challenging experience. I learned a lot of new techniques that will definitely be useful in future projects.
It was funny, I like build apps and try to improve it! A project is never truly finished, but I'm fine with the final result (for now!).
The Basic Add-on is short, but it was great to go over the basics one more time. It was good to do a real project with it.

GREAT LEARNING
Continuing from my initial usage of the SheCodes Basic Bootcamp, I utilized the Basic Plus program to further strengthen my skills and found it a great and strong help to my coding abilities. I loved working on the final project. Being able to work with a topic that I love rather than a pre-planned topic feels good because I am able to flex my creative muscles within the confines of what I am learning. I will be continuing the SheCodes Plus full Bootcamp to completion. SheCodes fuels my greed for learning. Highly recommended!
