This add-on addition was great to learn.

One of the toughest weeks I have had going back and forth with this workshop but at last I'm done with it and honestly it was all worth it. Learnt a lot of different techniques to make any webpage responsive on any screen.

JavaScript was a bit challenging, but at the end of the day, I was able to replay the lessons at my own pace to understand clearly.

It’s good to find something you truly enjoy. The teaching method is very clear. Even if something isn’t immediately understandable, there’s Google and AI. The program VS used for writing code is very intuitive and automatically suggests objects, which significantly reduces the time spent. These three weeks have been very interesting for me. Of course, I ended up purchasing the full 8‑month course.

Difficult but interesting learning experience

Great workshop! Python is such an interesting language! I really enjoyed learning how to use it.

Always fun to work with AI. This course just shows how many more possibilities you have with Python when incorporating AI into your projects.

The JavaScript part was a bit advanced for me, but I really liked that I could follow everything step by step at my own pace. The explanations were clear and practical, which helped me understand how things actually work. I also appreciated being able to go back and repeat lessons whenever I needed more practice.

This course was challenging, yet fun. I loved using all the tools I have learnt to create a website. What I enjoyed the most was creating the multiple pages, making it responsive, SEO, and much more. I really enjoyed this workshop, and I feel like I am already an experienced Front-end Engineer 😂

I was a complete beginner, however the layout of the course has made things simpler to comprehend in the way the course is structured. The submissions have been extremely useful as you are able to apply everything you learn and put into practise, which is the best way to learn. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, this will be a avenue I will definitely taking further with the Plus course.

I had fun learning about AI. The course was informative.

SheCodes Plus really helped me move from understanding basic concepts to actually building structured, dynamic applications. I especially appreciated working with real APIs and learning how to organize a project in a more professional way. The course strengthened my understanding of JavaScript and gave me more confidence when working independently. It felt less like following instructions and more like truly understanding how things work together. I now feel much more comfortable building projects from scratch and connecting frontend applications to real data.

It was quite different ftom the HTML but I managed to pass.No one explains better than Matt.

Really enjoyed learning the resources and methods in this course, and building my first draft of a portfolio website felt really motivating and productive! I feel I have a much better understanding of what front-end development entails and requires today.

As someone who is brand new to React this was a great beginner course but also a reminder of how complex and big React knowledge can be. I enjoyed the course and creating the apps using VS code.

This was such a fun project to work on. And honestly I feel it was especially fun and easy because of the introduction to coding I had with the SheCodes Basic (Introduction to Coding) foundation.

SheCodes basics Add-ons gave me a chance to apply what I learned in Basics to more creative projects. These challenges have pushed me to think more critically, and I am proud of how far I have come.

My journey with SheCodes Plus was not an easy one, but it was absolutely worth it. There were moments when I felt challenged and overwhelmed, especially when certain concepts didn’t immediately make sense. However, those challenges pushed me to grow beyond what I thought I was capable of. One of the biggest reasons I made it through was Matt Delac. He has an incredible way of making complex topics feel smooth and manageable. His teaching style is clear, practical, and very encouraging. He doesn’t just teach you how to code — he teaches you how to think like a developer. Even when things felt difficult, his guidance and structured lessons made it easier to keep going. What I loved most about the program is how it kept me engaged. Sometimes, if I didn’t get something right, it would stay on my mind the whole day, and I would even wake up in the middle of the night determined to figure out how to fix my code. Instead of giving up, I became more curious and more persistent — and that’s when I realized I was truly learning. SheCodes Plus didn’t just improve my coding skills; it strengthened my problem-solving mindset and resilience. I enjoyed each and every moment of the journey, even the tough ones, because they shaped me into a more confident developer. I’m proud that I didn’t give up, and I’m grateful for the support and excellent teaching that made this experience so impactful.

fun and easy

It was really fun, going through this course module. The topic was easy to grasp with clear examples.

I was hoping for the best and expecting the worst, especially having no tech background. To my surprise it was all so easy to grasp, Matt has a way of simplifying even the most complex topics. I had so much fun. I can not wait for the next workshop.

Fun online course, and you learn a lot. Matt is a good teacher, and it is easy to get help when you get stuck.

Taking this workshop was such a transformative experience. I went from feeling intimidated by coding to confidently building my own AI Quote Generator from scratch. The lessons were clear, hands-on, and incredibly empowering. What I loved most was how supportive the environment was — every concept was broken down in a way that made it feel achievable. Seeing my final project come to life was such a proud moment. I now feel equipped not just to follow tutorials, but to build and experiment on my own. The weekly challenges were well-structured to progressively build the backend development skills for the final project. Really enjoyable and excited to continue learning through #SheCodes.

React is definitely challenging. Understanding components, state management, hooks, and how everything connects requires time and patience. React also brought everything together from what I learned previously and showed me how to build fully functional, dynamic applications.

I never knew that coding can be this fun. I am enjoying it so much. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team for this opportunity.

I loved working on this project and I can't wait to start the next one! Thanks a lot for helping me go back to it in such a safe and comfortable way!

SheCodes Basics is an excellent introduction to html, CSS and JavaScript to help you build a webpage.

I would highly recommend to anyone willing to introduce themselves into coding. This course teaches you in a very simple way so you can build up your knowledge and make your first landing page from scratch in just 3 weeks. I can't wait to learn more in the upcoming weeks 🌟

I just love learning!

This was one of the best learning experiences I’ve ever had! I always thought coding was too difficult and therefore not accessible to me. However, the learning platform developed by Matt made learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript not only manageable, but also a truly fulfilling journey. I highly recommend this coding workshop to everyone. I have learned a lot even though I was inconsistent, but with the time I took, I have equipped myself with a whole lot of learning experience and enhanced my knowledge from what I have been learning. SheCodes basics add-on helped me deepen my knowledge of CSS and helped me finetune my knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.

I would rather recommend cheaper or free resources to a friend that are just as good. SheCodes was the first thing to learn coding I stumbled across and I am thankful for the experience. Nevertheless I will continue learning with other material now. In my opinion, it is way too expensive for what you get. Still: it is well explained and well structured!

This has been the perfect first step to make me curious about coding! I can't wait to learn more.

I have some previous experience coding with AI. This was a fun exercise.

I hadn’t coded in 2–3 years because life got busy, and I honestly wasn’t sure if I could get back into it. Restarting with SheCodes was the best decision I could have made. I began by revisiting the basics, completed the add-ons, and now I’m back in the Plus workshop — picking up where I left off at 65%. What’s incredible is that it doesn’t feel overwhelming at all. Matt Delac explains concepts so clearly and in such a structured way that it truly feels like I never left coding. One of the coolest parts has been the add-ons. Learning how to recreate features you see on big websites — and actually building them myself — has been such an empowering experience. Implementing things like theme-changing elements, adding grids, and making projects feel more dynamic and professional has been really exciting. I’m genuinely grateful for the knowledge and confidence I’ve gained. SheCodes made coming back to coding feel possible, practical, and fun again.

Very dynamic and easy to understand - great introductory course!

I learned how to make a website, which is exactly what I was hoping for!

It was a great learning experience and challenge that helped me understand how to build clean, structured, and mobile-friendly websites. Even though I might be fully remaking the whole structure of the project later :D. The lessons were clear, practical, and easy to follow, and the hands-on projects really helped me apply everything step by step. I really have to mention, that I faced a very important challenge — and a valuable lesson — the importance of creating the correct logical HTML markup for all pages before jumping into the design stage. Proper structure from the beginning makes the entire workflow smoother and prevents a lot of issues later when adding styling or making the layout responsive. Overall, the course strengthened my confidence in building responsive websites and improved the way I approach web development.

The responsive course was the cherry on top of the SheCodes workshops! I was finally able to ensure that the pages that I am coding are responsive and able to be viewed well on any type of device.
