It was enjoyable to create an AI Travel Planner utilizing an AI API.
I am currently a Clinical Speech-Language Pathologist, interested in learning more about coding.My goal is to one day work as a Software Engineer for a company related to Augmentative and Alternative Communication in the field of Speech-Language Pathology. I am absolutely loving everything that I'm learning and am excited to keep growing!
Basics Add-on was a great compliment to the Basics course and taught me all kinds of cool coding tricks which I was already wondering how to do after finishing Basics. I was surprised at how easy it was to grasp. Matt is a really good instructor and lays these concepts out quite well.
It was, as it happened with the previous workshops, a very interesting and informative experience. The content was well-structured, and the practical examples helped solidify my understanding of responsive design techniques. I learned a lot about how to make my projects look and perform better across different screen sizes and devices. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to improve their front-end development skills, especially in creating a polished and responsive portfolio.
My knowledge is expanding during each workshop and it is so exciting! I get to be both creative and technical - highly recommend!

SheCodes Basic was the perfect introduction to coding! I learned the fundamentals of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS through clear, engaging lessons and hands-on projects. The course made complex concepts feel approachable, even as a complete beginner. I now feel confident and excited to continue my coding journey. β
These exercises were more challenging in some parts, which required extra focus when coding and working with elements and functions. I had to retry and revise the code a few times, but it felt very rewarding when I finally got it right. I also really appreciate that I can replay the video whenever something isnβt clear the first time, it makes learning much easier.
I loved learning Python and I think it may be my favorite so far. I have really enjoyed learning coding and I'm excited to continue to grow and advance my skills.

The course was very challenging, but i was able to understand becaause for 8 weeks i had to learn it over and over again to understand the course, my challenge was JS, but am getting better because delan was explaining step by step and with a help of athena AI i was much much more easier.

I really like the teaching method. With this method I easily learn the lessons and use them in real projects. By participating in the Basics Add-on I easily learned the codes and lessons that probably took weeks to learn on my own, and with this workshop, it took only a week to learn them.
By learning advanced topics such as JavaScript, Bootstrap, and API usage, I have gained the ability to develop real-world projects. The projects I have completed so far are a reflection of the knowledge and practice I have acquired during this process.

Matt has a very well structured course. It's structured as you should start programing any project. When starting a project it's overwhelming trying to do all in the beginning. But starting with HTML first, then CSS and only then JS is less scary. So not only we are learning programming languages, we are also learning good practices. Thank you! π

This journey has been incredibly rewarding. The two projects gave me hands on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, allowing me to create a user friendly app with dynamic functionality. The World Clock project taught me how to handle different time zones using Moment.js to display accurate local times for multiple cities. I also had the creative freedom to style the app and customize the interface, using CSS animations to create a visually appealing product. This course has brought me closer to my goal of becoming a professional frontend developer, and Iβm excited to continue building on the knowledge and skills Iβve gained. It's been a great stepping stone, and I canβt wait to see where my coding journey takes me next!
