The SheCodes basics workshop is a good starting point for absolute beginners who want to learn to code. As a beginner, I enjoyed the practicality of every lesson in the SheCodes basic workshop, where I had to do a challenge. I also enjoy the fact that they do not spoon speed when teaching, as sometimes I had to figure things out myself, but the good thing is they do provide resources of where you can get additional information.
I have had an incredible time learning React, I fell in love with this framework 'cause it simplifies a developer's work hundred times, I thought that I've had a strong passion for coding, although now I understand that coding is my lifestyle and not only a hobby but part of my life. Now I have set a new goal for the following month (P.S. one of them is to continue to learn React and improve my existing knowledge)
This is my second course completed with SheCodes - and just like the first, I have found it to be such an incredibly well thought out and well taught module. I have enjoyed learning about grids, transformations and how to change whole themes of web pages. I'm really proud of my final project using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and can't wait to get stuck into more coding as I continue on my SheCodes Max journey.

I have only been learning web dev for a few week however I have learned so much! I have tried a few courses with other learning providers and this one outshines them all. I was a bit hesitant at first as I thought that live lessons was the way to go, the SheCodes platform has impressed me so much that I have changed my mind.
I liked this section of the workshop, but a bit different from the other workshops where you had to build your own project. This workshop gave you an option so I opted to essentially follow Matthew to replicate his. This was not my favorite workshop and could have skipped it if I knew the layout.
Completing the SheCodes React workshop was an incredibly enriching experience. The course structure, coupled with hands-on projects, made learning React both accessible and engaging. The guidance from experienced instructor Matt Delac and a supportive community transformed what might have initially seemed challenging into a truly rewarding journey. Building a weather application not only solidified my understanding of React but also provided a practical application for my skills. SheCodes React has not just equipped me with valuable technical skills but has also ignited my passion for web development. Instructor Matt does a fantastic job of breaking down the concepts. There is a good balance of demonstrating the concepts followed by practical, hands-on application of those concepts.

SheCodes Responsive was a lot of fun! It was the best to build a responsive website along with Matt. I highly recommend this course because practically all websites today require to be responsive to different devices, so every developer has to be ready. I'm definitely going to apply the tips I learnt here from now on!
The two courses I've taken with SheCodes were truly worth the investment! Learning the basics and getting an understanding of what coding looks and feels like was exactly what I was looking for. I'd like to especially thank Matt for making such engaging and dynamic video content.
It was great to refresh some of the HTML basics I learned before and learn CSS as well as JavaScript. For me, it was important to work on this at my own pace and SheCodes thankfully offers that sort of flexibility.
This workshop really pushed me to hone the concepts I learned in SheCodes Basics. Having done this workshop I feel confident enough to self-teach more complicated concepts. It's amazing to go from building a simple webpage to coding a fully functional project in just a few months!

Having previously earned a certification in SheCodes Basics, I recently expanded my qualifications by completing the Web development. My goal was to build on the foundational skills of my first certification and specialize further in web design. Was a lot of fun and was not hard to learn. I thought it would take a bit to understand how you were able to animate some of the photos but turns out it is not hard at all.

It's a great coding course, it takes you step by step to learn. You can take the classes on your on pace and repeat the lessons if it's neccessary. It took me a long time to finish because I had a lot of changes in my life, I got married, I moved to another country, I got pregnant, so I'm really happy I finally completed it! I loved the coding journey.
