I really enjoyed this workshop! Creating a landing page around something Iβm passionate about helped me learn even more CSS while letting me be creative, which I love. It was such a fun and motivating experience.

From Debugging to "Done" - My SheCodes Journey Taking on the SheCodes weather app challenge has been one of the most empowering things I've ever done.What started as a simple assignment turned into a personal project full of heart, transformation, and late-night breakthroughs (and breakdowns too- but we survived.!) I learned how to build a weather app using real-time APIs, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Axios. But more than the app, I discovered just how much creativity, resilience, and passion I could pour into code. My final project, Phoenix Skies, is a reflection of everything I've become- elegant, reborn, and ready to rise. A huge shoutout to SheCodes team and the supportive community, and yes- even my bugs- for helping me grow into the confident, butterfly-winged developer I am today. Super excited! I can officially say: I built that.

Having not completed any structured learning in a very long time I was nervous about how I would get on with this course. However it is set out very well with plenty of explanation and support if you need it. I had a lot of fun learning these basics and hope to come back for more of SheCodes courses in the future.

I have just completed the SheCodes Basics Add On course and I am truly proud of how far I have come in such a short time. This follow up course deepened my understanding of the coding foundations I gained during SheCodes Basics and gave me the confidence to build more advanced and visually polished projects. Mattβs teaching style continues to impress as he presents each new concept in a clear, practical way that makes it easy to follow and apply immediately. Great hands-on approach to learning JavaScript and APIs This course really helped me understand how to connect APIs to my code, which was honestly the most challenging part at first. The instructor breaks down complex concepts well, and I appreciated the practical projects that let you build real applications. The API integration section was tough initially - I struggled with understanding how to structure the requests and handle responses properly. But the more I practised with different APIs, the more comfortable I became with the syntax and error handling. Now I enjoy working with APIs just a little bit more! The course gives you solid foundations in JavaScript while teaching you to build projects you can actually showcase. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get comfortable with front-end development and API integration.

The Add On course was a further step with CSS and JS after Coding Basics. In order to handle the grids well and create an interesting page, I decided to make a small landing page about Astronomy, one of my great hobbies. I kept the previous aesthetic with bronze text and dark blue background, I think it's elegant and it matchs with the topic. I hope you enjoy it!

Taking this coding class was honestly one of the best decisions Iβve made. I came in barely knowing how to write a line of code or even understand it when looking at how a website is built , but by the end, Iβd built an actual weather app from scratch by the final lesson. I loved seeing my progress week by week, and it was seriously rewarding to watch my app go from a blank screen to something that actually worked. If youβre even a little curious about coding, Iβd definitely recommend this class.
