Great place to learn

I used to study Computer Programming at university, but honestly, I felt completely lost and didn’t understand much, so I switched to Psychology instead. A few years later, I decided to give coding another shot with SheCodes, and I’m so glad I did! Everything finally makes sense, even though I’m learning in a language that’s not my native one. Matt explains things so clearly and makes it all feel doable. Big thanks to SheCodes! 🙌

Being a part of the She Codes boot camp has been an absolutely transformative experience! Before joining, I felt a bit overwhelmed by the vast world of coding, but the supportive community and incredibly well-structured curriculum quickly changed that. I highly recommend the She Codes boot camp to anyone looking to kickstart their journey in tech, enhance their skills, or simply find a welcoming space to grow and innovate.

This workshop was a little more challenging than the last, but I still think SheCodes is unbeatable for learning how to code! The pride I feel right now is unbelievable, and I certainly feel that I "leveled up"!

I have learnt 3 different languages in a short space of time. I am starting to feel a lot more confident in my coding skills. I am really having fun while exploring my likes and dislikes in the world of coding.

The Plus workshop lessons are clear, broken down in such a way that, even though there were moments I felt lost, when the topics got more advanced, it made learning to code feel achievable. I just concluded the SheCode Plus Eight-Week Workshop. Honestly, it was quite challenging, but the great thing is, after going through all the motions and being determined to finish and now seeing the Weather App I created, I am so happy. The Advanced Web Development course was a turning point in my journey as a front-end developer. One of the most exciting projects I worked on during the course was building a fully functional World Clock web application. Through this hands-on project, I deepened my understanding of JavaScript, plugin's and dynamic DOM manipulation. This course not only strengthened my technical skills but also boosted my confidence to work on real-world web applications. The curriculum was structured to provide both foundational concepts and advanced problem-solving techniques. I now feel equipped to take on complex front-end projects and contribute meaningfully in a professional setting.

javascript was challenging, i had given up but this is my future so i came back and restarted from lesson 1 of JS again to not miss out on important information. i finally understood and my passion came back. so word of the day is DO NOT QUIT rather TRY AGAIN

I’ve really enjoyed the advanced Python workshop overall, most of the weeks were super engaging and well-structured. That said, Weeks 4 and 5 didn’t quite hit the mark for me. They felt a bit tedious and could have definitely been more interactive. Still giving it a 4 because the rest of the course (and the previous Python workshops) have been excellent!

The SheCodes Add-on helped me improve my coding skills in a fun and easy way. The lessons were clear, and I loved building real projects. It made me feel more confident with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more after the basic workshops.

This workshop is very helpful and motivating for those who have no prior coding experience. It's a great starting point for beginners. However, since I already had some experience, I found the content a bit too basic.

Before taking this course, I knew some basics of coding, but I never knew how to apply it or how to style the pages with the codes. Before starting this workshop, I never imagined I’d be able to create the kinds of websites I’ve built now. Thanks to this journey, I’ve discovered skills I didn’t even know I had. A fun and adaptable final project with room for design choice & experience in APIs

This was a truly enjoyable and insightful challenge. I loved combining creativity with coding while learning how to build a responsive, theme-switching landing page from scratch. It helped me practice important front-end concepts like CSS transforms, background properties and JavaScript interactivity. As mentioned in previous testimonials, Mathematics has never been my strongest subject. With this workshop, I have unlocked some capabilities when it comes to handling data. Sometimes it is fun and certainly is with this workshop thanks to Matt's teaching method.
