This course was really fun, I really enjoyed learning how to build a webpage.
This was a nice and gentle start to my coding journey. Matt made it easy to follow along and it overall wasn't overwhelming.
The final project here is chosen wisely. After creating it I realised how constant practice and learning help in achieving the amazing results. Not long time ago I was surprised when the phrase "Hello, World!" appeared on the white screen after writing it in the HTML. Now, thanks to the SheCodes, I created the personal site-portfolio. Of course, I have a long way to go. There are many things to learn, to master, there will be ups and downs. I realised that programming is not only about the skills, it`s about the mindset. It`s about perseverance, problem solving, steadiness. Programming can be very frustrating, but it is incredibly rewarding too. The She Codes Responsive workshop for me is the stage when it seems like you know a lot, but in reality you discover that there are more and more techniques, which can make the sites more comfortable to use, more user-friendly and responsive. This workshop was an amazing experience! I enjoyed each challenge and the final project was such an enjoyable activity. The Responsive Add-On course made for another great project to highlight on my portfolio. I'm getting more and more comfortable with ensuring my apps/sites are not only aesthetically pleasing but user friendly across a variety of devices & platforms.
I really enjoyed learning about coding and the creative process behind website designs. The videos were perfectly bite-sized, and the homework helped solidify concepts.

This course was a great introduction to coding. The workshops were broken down into small sections that helped progress learning just a little bit further each time. The tasks were the perfect balance between achievable and challenging.
I enjoyed the class, overall. It wasn't difficult to keep up with thanks to Matt's great teaching style. Everything was explained very well. I love the Slack feature and how quickly the SheCodes team replies to questions. I wish I got a certification after the course though. I thought it was a certification at the end, but I think it's a certificate of completion. Either way, a lot of great info that opened the door for me to possibly take the tech route. Thank you!

Great workshop; I really appreciated how Matt broke down all the concepts into more digestible "bits". SheCodes Plus was challenging and pretty complexed. Specially cause I needed to manage my time between my 40-hour week job, my personal chores and my free time (and some vacations). The good thing is that some weeks were easier to follow and to learn than others. But I enjoyed every step of the way and I felt the absolute support from the SheCodes team. Every time I felt stuck and asked for help, SheCodes team was there to explain me what I was not understanding. I feel very proud of myself and even though I'm not sure yet if I see myself doing this professionally, I'm very much motivated to continue learning and navigating into the possibilities that SheCodes is helping me creating for myself.

It was very cool! I had some troubles several times with my code, but it was an incredibly interesting challenge to solve them on my own. Thank you for this experience, now I have my own really working project in my portfolio! Can't wait for the next course and learning React!
If you want to learn I highly recommend SheCodes workshops. They really know how to teach , you will learn a lot. I'm sure others would love it too. I asked my questions on slack and they responsed to me and other students with care and kindness . Even though it took me twice of the time to proceed my second workshop I could say I've learnt every lesson and it was very useful to me. So don't worry and don't feel anxious if you think other's progress are faster and you might be slower because it's okay.
It was very exciting time, sometimes challanging, but with a help of wonderful SheCodes team and Athena I finally create my first App. If you want to try yourself in coding, this is exactly right place!

I really enjoyed the coding.
The majority of the weeks covered new content, tools, and methods that were vital to coding not just an online portfolio but coding websites in general that look good and are responsive across different platforms. The later weeks become a little repetitive since I began working on my final project since the first week, but I understand others may have a different approach.
I have learnt how to design the face of a website and how to make it interactive to the user. This is a wonderful and quick course to learn the important fundamentals!
