This course helped make advanced React approachable! I went from basic concepts to building a live Dictionary App from scratch. The clear, step-by-step guidance on API integration helped me turn theory into a professional project Iβm genuinely proud to show off.
It was really nice to do a different type of project again in this bootcamp, and integrating multiple APIs. React is a really interesting library and left me feeling motivated to build more, and after the React and React Add-on workshops, I feel comfortable enough to utilize it in more of my portfolio projects.
I have completed my second certificate with SheCodes, and it has been a wonderful journey. I'd been postponing finishing the add-on programme, and after two weeks, I completed it, which was a much better experience. I have learned a lot. I have expanded my knowledge beyond what I had previously acquired.
Highly recommended, it guides you every step of the way and in the end you really do understand what you're doing.

I'm really looking forward to the next step. I never thought I'd end up programming. As a radiologist, it was never my field, but the rapid changes in medicine offered me the opportunity to develop my skills.ππ
SheCodes has provided me with a platform where I was able to learn how to code at my own pace, with assistance and such wonderful tutorials which made everything much easier to understand. This has been such a great experience for me, loved it.
Over the past five weeks, my journey learning Responsive Web Development has been both challenging and exciting. During this time, I gained practical skills in building web pages that adapt smoothly to different screen sizes using modern frontend techniques such as flexible layouts and media queries. This experience helped me better understand how real-world websites are developed to function effectively on phones, tablets, and desktops. The process strengthened my confidence in writing cleaner, more adaptable code and has motivated me to continue improving my skills in web development as I build more responsive and user-friendly websites.
SheCodes made coding feel less intimidating and actually fun to learn. I loved how the lessons were broken down into small, practical steps that helped me build real projects and see my progress quickly. As someone coming from a different academic background, it gave me the confidence to explore tech and realize that coding is something I can truly learn and enjoy.
A fun learning project, it took a lot of time with a lot of trail and errors. Sometimes got frustrated because I lost track of what I was coding but then the debugging starts and a lot of research online to find solutions, but I made it with the results I had in Mind.
Very straightforward and easy to follow the instructions.
I enjoyed learning how to integrate another aspect into HTML, CSS & JavaScript. As well as learning how to add a "loading" circle whilst the item was being generated.
I had fun with this project, I'm already thinking about all the potential applications :)
Advancing to the next stage has been a meaningful milestone for me. The project gave me the opportunity to turn ideas from my mind into something real through code and explore the creative side of building. I recently completed the SheCodes Plus AI workshop and it was an amazing experience. In this workshop, I learned how to work with an AI API to generate dynamic content such as poems, jokes, and other creative text directly in a web application. It was exciting to see how AI can be integrated into projects to create interactive and engaging user experiences. The lessons were clear, practical, and very easy to follow. I really enjoyed building my AI powered project and gaining hands on experience using APIs and JavaScript together. This workshop made learning AI concepts feel approachable and fun. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue learning with SheCodes and I look forward to exploring even more advanced technologies in future workshops. π
I have thoroughly enjoyed the SheCodes Basics course. It's been a great introduction and I feel I have learnt a lot more than I thought I would. The course has been easy to follow with everything clearly explained. It's also really easy to track where you are in the course. Projects are also checked quickly once submitted. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to give coding a go, even if you haven't done any before.
This course came at the perfect time. Everything I learned in my previous courses started clicking into place, and the repetition of practicing and replicating real layouts made it stick in a way that just reading never could. I can feel myself getting closer to being a capable junior dev with every project I build.

I am getting back into coding after years of having to stop going to college from how sick I became. The first time I learned about SheCodes, I knew that it was a sign for me to get back into coding. Even though I've been sick through the first week, I did enjoy it and the extension when I needed it. Thank you so much and I can't wait to complete everything from start to end.

The most challenging lesson of SheCodes Basics Add On, for me, was the grid lesson. Since my images are different sizes it was a challenge to make the page aesthetically pleasing. I'm looking forward to adopting best practices that will expand my skills writing readable, efficient code.
This workshop allowed me to gain even more understanding at Python, API integration and AI. It challenged me, but it also showed me that my linguistics background can be pretty useful to help me understand and build the applications.
I loved creating this landing page for Lisbon, a city I truly love and call home. This course has been an incredible journey the more I code, the better I get at understanding how everything works and seeing my ideas come to life!

I really enjoyed learning more things about coding, but I honestly HATED having to use CodeSandbox because it was slow and it made my laptop slow as well. I also enjoyed doing the weather project, and I would've finished sooner had it not been for JavaScript being so difficult and making me quit every other day. Despite everything, I am happy that I have been able to complete this course, and I can now move onto a new one.
It was a very engaging task. I didn't expect to be so captivated. I spent almost a whole day on it, using AI assistance, and I think I managed to write a wonderful page.
It's a fun and interesting experience, especially if you're new to the subject. It's easy to follow and shows you in little steps what to do, which really helps the adhd brain.

This Responsive Add-on course was a wonderful continuation of the Responsive workshop. It helped me deepen my understanding of how to refine layouts and create more polished responsive pages using CSS Grid and media queries. I particularly enjoyed focusing on the small design details that make a page feel structured and user-friendly across different screen sizes. The final project was especially meaningful for me because it allowed me to create a responsive landing page honouring the βMothers of Technologyβ and celebrating the women who helped shape the foundations of our digital world. I also enjoyed integrating elements such as embeds and responsive media into the page while adapting and refining the layout throughout the project. A big thank you to Matt and the SheCodes Team π for another inspiring and rewarding learning experience!
I really enjoyed my experience with SheCodes Plus. Building a weather app throughout the course was both fun and rewarding, and it helped me put my new skills into practice. It was exciting to see how everything came together, from working with APIs to displaying real-time data. Learning advanced JavaScript pushed me to try even more advanced features in my project and experiment with new ideas while developing the weather app. It motivated me to go further with my project and explore what I could build with the tools we learned. The SheCodes Python Basics course provides a strong foundation for anyone new to programming. The course is organized and presented clearly, making it easy to understand. The step-by-step explanations and exercises helped reinforce each lesson and made the learning process engaging.

Honestly I'm fuming, this entire course is an absolute scam. First of all, the videos are outdated and writing a stupid disclaimer on top of them is not enough; second of all, there is an entire lesson on how to convert the temperature on the nth weather app from celsius to fahrenheit (wasting time by constantly rambling about how you always forget how to spell it) just to tell me to delete that part because you don't want to explain how to extend that conversion to the forecast... Apparently learning how to apply fcking animated icons is more important than learning how to use state management... You literally claim that with the bootcamp you get "the ultimate training in coding to learn everything you need to become a professional developer" but I'm almost done with it and it feels like a total waste of money and time because it's all superficial knowledge at most. However I guess it's my own fault for not doing my research properly
SheCodes Plus challenged me in so many (good) ways, and I'm much more confident in my coding ability!

In just four weeks, Iβve gone from having no coding experience to building a full project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course is fast paced and packed with valuable content, which makes it both challenging and exciting. What I love most is the hands-on approach, you learn by doing, making mistakes, and improving along the way. Itβs incredibly rewarding to see everything come together into a real website. A month ago, I wouldnβt have believed I could do this. This has been such a fun and empowering introduction to coding.

I had very little coding experience; the last time I touched HTML was editing my blog as a teenager. Curious and eager to learn, I joined the SheCodes course. The lessons are easy to follow, and each challenge really helped me understand things better. Learning at my own pace let me go back and re-study anything I didnβt get the first time. I loved every hands-on project, and by the end, I couldnβt believe I had built a fully functional landing page for my favourite Formula 1 team. It was such a confidence boost and made me excited to keep coding!
Learning how to code has completely changed how I see tech. In this course, I not only learned the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but also how to integrate AI into my projects using APIs.
