The course is flexible, fun and accessible. Matt explains everything really well! I've really enjoyed learning the basics of coding and am excited to carry on learning through SheCodes.
Being fairly new to coding I wanted to try it out before making a larger commitment and chose the SheCodes basics workshop. I am happily surprised that I learned so much in three weeks and had so much fun letting my creativity shine through! The lessons have great structure making them easy to follow. I usually watched the challenge before starting the lesson so I could work on the solution and the same time. I can't wait to start the next workshop!

I had a prolonged setback, because of severe illness. I am happy to return to something that I enjoy. It was challenging at times, especially when you had to correct old code with that many typo errors that made the code unusable. I have learned a lot in the process, skills that I never expected. I am confident now with git and debugging, learn a lot more about APIs and how to handle calls. It was a long road but an enriching experience. Thank you! Next level, Please!

It was really fun and empowering creating a website with just HTML and CSS. I feel like I'm starting to get a deeper understanding of how everything works. I made a website that acts as a one-stop-shop for latin dance lovers in Lisbon. It has information on classes and regular parties. Just last night, someone from dance class said how hard it is to know about the parties happening around the city. It was so cool being able to help him out by directing him to a website I created.

At first I had trouble with HTML and being able to remember the codes and how to place them correctly in CSS, but with the help of Matt I was able to understand how to place my code correctly. Not forgetting the slack app he recommended for us to use, it came in very handy when I had challenges especially with my final project.

I joined SheCodes because trying to learn solo was not really working for me. I am glad on my decision because I am surprised at how fast I have grasped concepts and was able to put them on practice. The platform is really user-friendly and I consider its methodology to be successful on building knowledge and making progress. A nice one to try React. Not so hard to cry while you're coding. And not so easy to be bored. Good to have if you already made Weather app in Vanilla JS. It was interesting to port it to React. I wish we try temperature conversion in scope of this course :)
