SheCodes has become an addiction, I love everything about it. I always look forward to the next!
This is the most challenging project and I will have to go back to it, again and again, to make sure that the well-explained videos and help from the slack community stick.
I loved this course! The basics course was great too but building on that further and working with API and more advanced javascript in the Plus course was really fun.
Great workshop. I felt like my work is looking much more professional and I've been able to build on the skills learned in previous workshops. I love that the final project is a resume/contact website as well!

I enjoyed taking a deeper dive into the basics of web development. You will learn how to create nice transitions on images and place them in an aesthetically pleasing grid. Fun!
Excellent course. It is my first experience and although I only have time for the course in the evening, I can really learn something!I would appreciate a summary of the commands with an explanation as they are under the key lesson, but together in one place
I have had previous experience with the basics of CSS but I still learned a lot from these lessons😁. I'm very happy with how much my skills have grown since I joined SheCodes and I definitely will be joining the more advanced workshops.
A short add-on that teaches a lot with regards to CSS, particularly popular interesting features such as how to create a dark theme and make a toggle button. Would recommend :)
this has been eye opening for sure! It started easy, then got a little confusing, but i learn differently. In the end I really started getting it and cant wait to start the next class!

the break down of each lesson and the classwork that follows, makes it more easier to "practice as you learn ". the video recordings also makes it easier for people like me that needs to go over the lectures several times before assimilating. This was by far the most challenging workshop for me. However, with the help and support of the SheCodes Team all the small issues were resolved. I would choose to work on this project all over again.
Coding my own portfolio was a lot of fun and I learned a lot while coding this project!
I loved completing the SheCodes basic course. I learnt a lot very quickly and found Matt's video tutorials very engaging and accessible. The SheCodes resources (colour palettes, gradients etc) were great too. I'm hoping to move on to the next level very soon :)
I am really glad that I decided to subscribe to the basic workshop because now I have definitely a clear idea about the coding world! I am even considering enrolling in the more advanced courses even if I would like to transition to UI/UX Design so I am not required to know it all, but the structure and learning material is so well done and interesting that I would like to learn more!

I have loved being able to learn at my own pace with SheCodes. It’s short soundbites enable learning without feeling overwhelmed and the self service console is easy to use.
I highly recommend SheCodes Workshops. I have no coding experience and in three weeks I was able to understand the basics of coding. It was rewarding to take everything I had learned during the three-week workshop and use it to create my own landing page. I look forward to completing more SheCodes workshops!

Everything I've learned in the course was extremely practical and I was able to use it in my day to day as a CRO Manager to build better tests! Modules were broke down into digestible bite size and made it really easy to understand. Thanks SheCodes :)

This was the second course of my classes with Shecodes, and with every step I took, I became more interested in coding than before. Another SheCodes workshop completed! It was a fun one to search for and try out some web designs, color palettes, and features. So it is a bit less about JavaScript and more about the building blocks of a website and looking through your own work to share in the portfolio project. Ready for the next challenge!

After completing almost all SheCodes workshops (including React), the Responsive workshop has to be one of my favorites! I learned so many more CSS, and Bootstrap skills that the other workshops lacked, and I feel that I can apply what I learned here across various areas in the future. I do wish I had taken the Responsive workshop before I took the React workshop (my initial package didn't include the Responsive one), as the Responsive taught me so many excellent skills that I wish I could apply to the latter. I highly recommend this workshop and SheCodes overall!

I love the SheCodes Basics. It is well-structured and interactive, It's amazing how much I learned in just three weeks. Absolutely a game changer!
Learning how to code sounded incredibly difficult and I doubted I could learn, but I took a leap of faith and advice from a close friend. SheCodes makes learning coding extremely approachable and easy to follow along. Deadlines exist to keep you accountable for yourself, but there are options for deadline extensions. Also, there's a huge community of fellow students and tutors that are only a message away.
Taking this course provided a sense of accomplishment and the opportunity to explore new interests.
This workshop was very challenging but I learned so much! I start work as a developer next week and I'm so excited to use my skills and everything I've learned so far! Thank you Matt! ☺️
The course was challenging, but also extremely rewarding and I learned a lot of valuable skills that I will carry with me throughout my career. One of the things I appreciated most about this course was the way it was structured. The lessons were broken down into manageable chunks, and each one was followed by exercises to help me apply what I had learned. This really helped me to retain the information and feel confident in my abilities. This was a good workshop to learn the basics for HTML/CSS/JS. The pace was reasonable. The challenges were a good way to immediately practice and reinforce the material presented in the lesson videos.

I really enjoyed taking the SheCodes basic workshop. I had a lot of fun coding the little challenges and the end of the week homework. I was really busy during the time period of the workshop and had to do most of the challenges and homework last minute, but the explanation was so detailed that I did not struggle as much as I taught I would. I really appreciate that Matt himself is teaching the classes and helping his students through the basics of coding. This is a website I would recommend to any women that are interested in coding.

This was a great workshop especially I love how you can work at your own pace. I have been trying to get into the IT Field for 3 years now uncertain on where to start. Hi. My name is Abbey Grant, and I am a second-year college student from Chicago, Illinois. I had a great time learning the basics of coding. I got interested in coding from a high school computer class and decided to try while I have the winter break off. It was a nice way to spend my time with not having any winter college classes. Although it was sometimes frustrating when I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my code and how to fix it, I got excited every time I figured out how to fix it. I will definitely be increasing my coding skills with more classes in the future.
