Can't believe that I finished this workshop! Definitely harder than the Basic WS but I learned so much in the past 2 months! And I really like the final project - the weather app! Great experience, when I got stucked I got quick answers on Slack so I never really felt stucked for long. I'm excited to start the next workshop!

It has been a while since my last and first landing page and I am surprised by the progress! Last time it took three weeks to build a basic landing page and now one week :) I would encourage everyone out there learning to code or learning anything else for that matter - don't give up and the results will show up!

It is amazing to see how I went from knowing almost nothing of coding in the beginning of the year to being able to understand so much now. I had so much fun doing the course , and more challenging was the better the satisfaction when I solved a code, I done it to see if my cup of tea, but can say gladly that want and will persuade a career moving forward 🥰🥳
I had some previous coding experience that was self-taught, so I already knew how to do a lot of the HTML and CSS, but what I loved about this was how clearly Matt explained all of the different elements. I had been having some difficulties with JS learning by myself, and he made it a breeze. Also, the slack community is fantastic. I had very speedy and efficient help when I encountered a problem. Really enjoyed working on a multiple page, all responsive website that I could create from start to finish, including the design and using Github too. Took me a little longer this time but really great lessons and project to learn with.

The SheCodes Basics Workshop was an excellent refresher that helped me solidify my skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The information throughout the course was well presented, the instructor was very knowledgeable and the hands-on projects are very rewarding. Another educational and fun workshop in the books. I have learned a lot of new skills in this particular workshop for React itself and new general coding skills as well. It has been a long journey with many nights of confusion, but thanks to Matt and his team I was able to complete and understand my tasks along the way.

Absolutely the BEST program to consider if you are beginning your coding journey! I never thought I would be capable of understanding the material I have been taught in this course. I am definitely going to recommend this program to my military colleagues and friends who are interested in learning to code.
This extra course was great. After working with a bit of date and time from the last project, I was eager to learn more. This course was perfect for learning about time zones and how to add them to a website. Matt makes it easy to follow, for a quick, but highly educational 2-week course.

During the workshop, I learned plenty of new techniques I later used for building my final project. The course contains lots of practical exercises. Most of them were challenging at the start, but by the end of the final week, I started to feel more confident and now have no doubt I will be able to use the new skills in my future projects. I highly recommend the SheCodes Responsive workshop.
I am a college student looking to span my skill in order to get my dream job. I love learning and coding has always been interesting to me yet I could not find a program that fit in with my hectic schedule. I am really excited to put my new skills to the test.
During this course, I got acquainted with the basics of front-end programming which was really advantageous for me as it was a good introduction!
Before SheCodes, I thought I needed to have some background knowledge on coding or that was wasn't smart/creative enough to learn how to code. After SheCodes Plus workshops, I feel empowered and inspired. That fact I was able to make a weather app proves how much SheCodes push me to go beyond my limits.

This has been an awesome experience. The course was challenging but with a lot of support and guidance along the way. The lessons were thorough and practical. I particularly liked that I could go back and watch the lessons over and over till it was clear and feedback to questions were given. I have learnt so much.
I highly recommend this workshop, it takes you through all the basics of HTML, CSS and JS. Matt is an excellent teacher who breaks down information so that it is easy to understand and follow along. The challenges after almost each lesson is a great way to practice what you have just learnt. I really enjoyed this course and would recommend this workshop to anyone wanting to get into coding.

I've been looking at programming for a long time, but I didn't dare to do it. Circumstances developed in such a way that a war broke out in my country, I had a third child, and I became a housewife. I don't remember exactly how, but fate directed me to the SheCodes site and I decided that it was time to learn coding. At the beginning of the course, I was afraid that I would not succeed, but while working on the final project, I realized that I was passionate about coding. Matt is a very inspiring teacher. He knows how to explain complex things simply. I'm so glad I chose SheCodes to learn and overcome my fear of coding. Now I'm looking forward to continuing my studies!

This workshop is not easy, but it is really rewarding. I've began this journey as a complete newbie, and I'm really grateful for such opportunity to find a new way to build my skills.
Ambitious is the final word I can give this course. I write it and speak it (out loud) because now I can finally say "I have completed this course, as an ambitious woman." Yes, this course challenged my critical mindset, on a personal level but it was worth the tears that came along with it. Most definitely I wanted to quit the course but the little girl inside me told me, "keep going.. finish.. don't give up!" These are the words I manifested everyday until I completed.

The SheCodes Plus has helped take my coding skills to a different level. The information is well presented, and the assignments are challenging, as well as rewarding. The SheCodes Slack channel is another amazing resource. I was able to obtain further clarity and guidance on more difficult concepts and challenges. As per the previous workshops, React was well-structured, easy to follow, and fun to code. Well, this workshop is the first step we take to know API. In this workshop, Matt Delac introduces API with a clear expression. Surely first it is not easy, but with practice we can learn and use it. Today, I am a lady in tech. Each video was really easy and clear instruction to understand, and each challenge was step-by-step. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn how to code from scratch!
This was a challenging but incredibly rewarding course, building on the skills learned in the Basics syllabus. I feel a lot more confident in HTML and CSS, and particularly Javscript, and am proud of the project I've made. After focusing mainly on HTML and CSS, the leap to React was a little challenging - but once I got into it I had so much fun! Matt shows different methods to completing sections of your code, and its useful to know best practices with these too. Thank you SheCodes and Matt for an amazing course!

A brief and worthwhile course for learning the basics of web development. In this course most common tags of HTML and CSS Syntax is taught. Also, one can get familiar with the basics of JavaScript and its functions.

I am absolutely astounded by the program. In just a couple of weeks, I went from knowing nothing about web development to being able to put together a simple website!
