It was an amazing experience.
I programmed a Weather App to enable users search for their current location, the location they reside, and other locations. I also used a metric unit to enable users toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit degree, dependent on their location. It has been a mind blowing journey and it was really tasking, glad I got the result I needed. SheCodes React was, I think, the most challenging course for me, but yet the most exciting one! I have built two real-life projects step by step with instructor Matt Delac. I loved the lectures from the beginning where complex code became simple and understandable. And this is where the magic happens. Incredible team support on Slack if you are stuck or get confused. I want to say thank you to Matt and the team for this opportunity. Now I know in what direction to keep moving and grow and try my first independent projects!

I am learning so much from Matt. I love his enthusiasm for coding. That is the best kind of teacher. If your teacher is excited about what they do, then you will be too. He also makes you have faith that you will accomplish the task at hand. The assignments challenge me to figure things out and when I solve the problem, I feel a sense of accomplishment. I feel like I think better at my job as well. And if you get stuck, the SheCodes team advises you. Can't wait to learn more things.

It was really interesting to learn JavaScript on such example as the Weather Application. And It's an inspiring feeling when you understand the logic of code and how to connect functions so they can interact. I had some doubts close to the end of the course, that I can't manage more information without forgetting previous, but last two weeks of repetition were very useful. Thank you, Matt!

This course was somewhat challenging but very exciting! I enjoyed every minute of it and it helped me see what a developer's process looks like. It took some time to understand the logic of JavaScript, but it was worth it to go through all the basics in detail.
I found the course seamless and easy to follow through. I enjoyed the small challenges after every lesson and looked forward to homework every week. It is an opportunity to truly practice in a different way. I have always been interested in learning code, especially when I got to work on a development project. I learned so much with SheCodes but it's all about what you do with that knowledge that will get you farthest after you've completed the workshop. I'm really glad I chose SheCodes to help me get started because now I feel comfortable and confident enough to keep learning and coding on my own. This course provides excellent basic programming skills! Information is presented simply, there is always support from mentors, there is an opportunity to ask questions. Thanks to this course, you can build your first page, get basic knowledge of JS, HTML and CSS.
The workshop is great, easy to grasp for everyone and best of all I have another awesome project to showcase. The concepts have been very well articulated and I feel even more convinced to dig into depth in the programming languages.
I appreciate the Basic course for giving me the introduction to coding and a new career path. The workshops are fun to follow and easy to understand with Matt´ s progress. I like that we have to be practical with challenges after every video and that we get the solution afterwards to make sure we can correct any mistakes. I am looking forward to the next Plus workshop!
Loved the Plus Workshop as well. It was way more complex than the Basic, but it definitely opened my appetite for learning programming languages! I will continue to expand my knowledge and maybe even go further with the next workshop. Don't hesitate to try new things - cause it's worth it!

As someone who never touched javascript before, it was a definite eye-opener of an experience of how simple making an interactable page is~ It's amazing how easy it is to get help when you're working on the different challenges each week. SheCodes has been an incredible experience! I am mostly bedridden and have very limited mental energy due to ME/CFS, but Matt's lessons are simple and enjoyable. Plus the program was very flexible with extensions when I was in health flares. It felt sooo good to actually learn a new skill and feel productive again! I missed that feeling! Also, I love knowing that if my health improves enough to actually stay awake during the day, I now have very desirable skills for a job that I could even do in bed! Thanks SheCodes!
This workshop was definitely challenging at times especially with a full time job however everything was explained very well and any time I needed help I pretty much got an instant response. I'm very happy I found SheCodes.
This intro workshop was challenging and fun! The over-the-shoulder format of the lesson videos is super helpful, and the homework and final project really help to solidify everything I've learned so far.
Learning by practicing is the most amazing thing ever, and SheCodes has that and I loved it.
After trying for months to teach myself just one coding language, I knew I had to rethink my approach. I signed up for SheCodes, and it wasn't at all what I expected - it's better. I'm so impressed with how much I've learned in such a short amount of time. Matt is not only an extremely knowledgeable instructor, but he also makes coding fun and exciting. The workshop was educational, reflective and fun. The challenges that were designed in almost every lesson encouraged me to be creative. It's the learning-by-doing approach that I like! It provided me with new set of tools for starting designing my own website. Taking a coding class with Matt was definitely a great experience. I feel like I have strong foundation to start coding, and of course will not stop me to keep learning and progressing.
