This Responsive workshop was by far my favorite course. I loved learning how to make the website responsive and it brought many "aha" moments from previous courses. I couldn't help but smile every time I made something work and while learning new techniques. Thanks Matt & SheCodes team!
React is a challenging workshop and more focused on the two projects you work on, but you really learn a lot. As always, the support you get is great :) If you enjoyed Plus, this course is a good choice.

SheCodes Responsive really deepened my knowledge in HTML and CSS and made me fall in love with responsive design and coding!

I am currently looking into a career change and came across SheCodes while I was researching on where to start. I came into this course knowing absolutely nothing about coding, and I was very nervous before starting because I was scared I wasn't going to understand anything. The three-week course definitely introduced me to the basics that I feel I need to get started. It helped me gain the confidence that I needed to keep pushing myself to learn coding and showed me that I can actually learn how to code!
I'm so glad I fought through this one! It was more difficult, but I appreciate the chance to understand React and how it differs from standard JS. I will soon be launching a web design business with my husband because of all that I've learned over the past year. I can definitely say that I'm confident enough to understand and sell our product and manage client portfolios. I have come a long way with the amazing skills I have now. This was a wonderful experience.
I've learned so much from SheCodes Plus. I'm finally starting to feel really comfortable coding basic projects and can't wait to learn more.

I have surprised myself, as I had no knowledge at all about coding before starting this 3 weeks basic course. However, I can proudly say that, I can now sing in codes! - thanks to Matt & the way he outlays this course. Though I had a difficult start, by the end of week 2, I have become more excited and wanted to delve deeper into this strange but beautiful world of coding. I had very little experience with coding before taking the SheCodes Basics Workshop. SheCodes made it so fun to learn and their lessons felt very accessible for a beginner like me. Even when I felt overwhelmed trying to solve a problem I knew I had been given the basic tools to find the answer. I also loved the tips and tricks I learned. Definitely recommend SheCodes!
Matt explained each topic in a concise way. The videos are short but I don't feel like there's anything missing honestly! I'd recommend the course to anyone wanting to learn the basics of html, css and javascript and I'll definetly come back for the next course as well. I absolutely loved the little homeworks after each video and I thoroughly enjoyed the project in the end as well.

Great step by step videos that give the confidence to do challenges.
I learned a lot but I wish the courses flowed better than they did. Felt oddly repetitive at times as if it weren't planned out as thoroughly as it could have been on the front end.
I did this workshop during a stressful period of my life, but I was still able to follow along the instructions and make my own functional weather app.
I had already been through the SheCodes Basics & Plus workshops, which were incredibly informative, but this took my skills to the next level! I pushed myself to see what I could do, and I think my final project turned out wonderfully thanks to the new skills I learned in this workshop.

I discovered SheCodes on social media at which time I had little interest and no knowledge of programming. I decided to give it a try and it has taken me from beginner to professional. The lessons on SheCodes are short, concise, and easy to understand. The homeworks and projects also helped me to utilize the skills I learned during the workshop. Now I can write my own simple pages all thanks to SheCodes.
What a great course! I learned so much information throughout these videos. I am new to coding and I feel as if Matt was very explicit on what needed to be done and WHY it works/why you do it a specific way. The team on slack also needs a shoutout because if you're stuck or have a question, they respond and help you in a timely manner.

This was my 3rd SheCodes workshop and I loved it! The final project was so much fun and so useful. I was able to make a multiple pages website responsive and create a portfolio I can update and use to share my work! Really looking forward to learn React.

This workshop gained me so much knowledge that I thought wouldn't be possible, courses are well instructed by Matt and he articulates in a way that is easy to understand. The team of instructors are speedy at answering any questions and resolving any issues that you may run into also! I had a lot of fun building my final project - I am looking forward to Plus! :)

I have learned soooo much in such a short time and have had a lot of fun! I highly recommend this workshop if you are seriously considering learning how to code. It is easy to follow and completely self-paced. What I have learned is coding is pretty much all logic and organization. If those two things excite you then get coding!

Wow I can't believe how much I've learned in 5 months! Going for a complete beginner to coding full complex apps. Matt is an excellent teacher and the whole team at SheCodes is amazing, they provide very fast and helpful support when ever I run into a bug. Highly recommend!

I just completed my SheCodes Plus course and I absolutely loved it. It was very challenging but I do love a good challenge! I enjoyed every lesson and I am super Proud to have created my very first Weather App! I highly recommend the course for any girl out there that wants to learn how to code

My background is as non-technical as it can be. I studied foreign languages and business management and landed jobs in marketing, account management and sales suppport. For years I was dreaming about doing something different, something more challenging, but I just could not figure out the direction. Becoming a junior front-end developer has been my dream and goal for about a year and the SheCodes workshops have been my best helpers so far. Now that I am adding the last touches to my portfolio, I feel full of joy! 😊 There is still a long journey ahead, and I'm so looking forward to it! 🥰

I really enjoyed taking part in the classes! I am from a completely different field (education), and accordingly I had concerns about my ability to learn a new and unfamiliar field. My apprehension completely dissipated from the first lesson. Matt's explanations were so clear and fascinating!

I felt like I was in a rut during my first year of teaching so I began exploring other options. Many jobs were looking for experience in HTLM and JavaScript. After taking the free SheCodes course, I signed up for the basic 3-week program. I was challenged like never before and loved working through the problems to find a solution. I enrolled in this program as I am wanting to learn a new skill but I was not too sure yet if this is what I wanted to do. The workshop is easy to follow especially for someone like me that doesn't have a background in programming. The lessons are interactive and I get to apply each lessons learned on the activities that followed. I really enjoyed it and it has definitely sparked my interest in web design and programming.

I loved the Basics Workshop, and I am excited to continue learning about code with SheCodes! It is such a useful skill to have and the feeling of being able to create (in this case, a landing page), is amazing. Although I am a beginner, the Workshop didn't feel overwelming because every class is build perfectly on top of the previous one. The SheCodes community is also very positive and welcoming. As a math educator looking to transition into the world of tech, I wanted to find a program that was not only affordable, but meaningful to my interests in this new field. I've also been a coding coach for a program that allowed me to teach other young girls how to embrace the world of technology within STEM; so finding myself working with SheCodes truly brought out my young, intelligent mind and excitement! Completing just the Basics Workshop has me thrilled to want to pursue the next levels of learning code (and essentially become a Front-end Developer). I send a BIG THANK YOU to Matt and many others who have created such a space where women can come together and sort through this world of technology in a convenient matter of time.
Matts teaching style was great, he easily broke down daunting looking codes into simple pieces you could understand then tied it all together at the end of the lesson. This is a great intro course to CSS, HTML, JAVA, and Visual Studio and I would recommend it to anyone who is curious about coding or learning a new skill. This course also provided a creative outlet for me that I wasn't expecting, and that was one of the most rewarding things about this course.
I am looking to make a big career transition and I think SheCodes is the perfect path for me to accomplish this big milestone in my life! As somebody who has spent many years in college, I think this course is very well structured. The team really does a wonderful job at making you feel heard/seen for a class that isn't in person or through zoom like a traditional class. You guys are doing a fantastic job with the support!
