Excellent beginner experience with coding. Found the videos and exercises very easy to follow and appreciated all the support throughout the process. Canβt wait to continue on the courses.
SheCodes has allowed me to understand the basics of web development. The videos and resources provided were easy to understand and follow along with. The support system via Slack has been amazing! If you're thinking of signing up, just do it. It's by far the most affordable option I've found online and I don't regret signing up.
Matt is amazing at explaining and very clear, that it makes it very easy to follow along. I was really nervous in taking an online class instead of physically going. But after taking this class and all the convenience given, I see I have made the right decision. And am very excited to keep continuing.
I just wanted to share a quick note and let you know that you guys do a really good job. I'm glad I got the opportunity to take these courses and extend my learning. Everyone is so helpful and I love the community created.
Plus Workshop was challenging but very fun experience. I will definitely still continue to improve my weather app, as my coding knowledge will expand during future workshops.

Personally, I find SheCodes React was the most challenging lesson especially the Dictionary App Project. But, the beauty in this is that there's always a room for learning and improving your skills. I always feel motivated to find the solutions for each challenges given in the lessons and aim to provide a creative and user-friendly app . I thank Prof Matt and SheCodes Team to make this a wonderful learning journey for me. SheCodes is definitely a fun startup for those who are keen to learn coding. πππ

I've tried to start learning to code several times, including in university. None of it ever seemed accessible to me. This course very much helped me see that not only was coding not dry and uninteresting, but could be creative and fun!
Once again, I'm very happy with this workshop and also with my final project! All the lessons are very easy to follow, and the project is very motivating. I highly reccomment this workshop to anyone who wants to learn to code!

Doing SheCodes Basics has sparked a fire in me I didn't know existed. After having my daughter a little over a year ago, I felt that I lost my spark for creativity, but that all came back when I started learning to code. This course has helped me improve my understanding of JavaScript, which is the coding element that I was struggling to wrap my head around. I feel really proud of my final project and would never have thought I would be able to build, having only learnt to code for such a short time. I found more confidence in using Visual Studio Code, CodeSandBox, Git and GitHub, and I also found the SheCode team very helpful on slack if I needed guidance. I'm now looking forward to the following two courses.
This training was incredible! At first, I was very intimated at the thought of coding, I never understood what I was looking at. But after enrolling in this course, I have learned so much! It was a bit hard but really fun at the same time to try to make the website responsive on any device. Personally I liked the part where I follow the portfolio design and build the website exactly looking the same. It is definitely trials and errors but you will have fun coding and feeling accomplished at the end of the day:)

SheCodes is a very approachable way to stay in the code or learn code for the first time. Matt is seriously a great teacher - he explains concepts very clearly, simply and with repetition which is so helpful. I love the mission and the inclusive pace of the course.

This was a great 3-week course to get to grips with the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript! Somewhat challenging at times, but not frustrating. I really liked how the course was paced and explained, and the fact that I could reach out to other students if I got stuck.
I really enjoyed the course. It was challenging enough, but without being overwhelming. It helped to boost my knowledge. I look forward to taking another course in the future.
Great introduction to HTML, CSS, and JS. Matt is a great instructor and the videos and additional tips are helpful to go back to when working on assignments.
Learning developed like climbing a mountain - what was invisible and incomprehensible at first, then became clearer. It was not so easy for me, but quick and kind feedback helped me overcome dead ends. So let's move on, thanks for the amazing course and support!

Good for beginners
I found it very interesting and engaging course for a true beginner like me :)
I studied computer science in college about two years ago but eventually dropped the classes because I felt I couldn't understand or keep up with the materials. I must say that the Basic's coding workshop is extremely beginner friendly, efficient, and affordable. Before I almost gave up completely with being able to learn how to code and move forward into tech but now, I have my confidence back! I've learned so much taking the workshop and would HIGHLY recommend! I'll be enrolling into the sheCodes Max workshop soon! Thanks Matt and the entire she codes team!
