SheCodes was a great workshop. I had so much fun with all the challenges. The course was very easy to follow and understand (also for someone who is not native English speaker like me).

I loved this course! The lessons are in really manageable chunks so it is easy to work on alongside a job. Matt is a great tutor, he explains each step so that it is easy to follow and so that you understand why you are doing it, which really helped me! I really enjoyed working on all the challenges and especially the final project; I am so glad I found SheCodes. It was perfect!

The workshop was great! Every subject was divided into short videos, which made it very easy to understand. If you want, you can pause the video, speed it up or slow it down to match your individual pace. I can't wait to start with SheCodes Plus!
It is a well prepared workshop with a reliable support (even across continents). You learn step by step how to create your own landing page and you can chose freely, at what time of the day you want to work on it. And the most important thing is: you learn from and with coders who enjoy their work 👍😊
I've never thought about learning how to code until I found myself in a quest to change careers and then saw a SheCodes add on Instagram. By curiosity, I decided to participate in the free coding class to see if I would enjoy it. And for my surprise I did. I really liked the didact of the workshop, combining theory with homework for every new learning. Strongly recommend.

The class course was great! I learned a lot in these last three weeks. I did have some issues getting help with one of my homework assignments. I never had a solid answer on the things I needed to change, since I felt there was a lot that needed to be fixed. The feedback I got after submission was items one by one, so I'm still in the process of trying to complete the homework. Other than that, fantastic course, and I can't wait to begin the additional weeks!
This was a great workshop. It was a little more challenging and less step-by-step than the initial workshop but I appreciated the more realistic frustration experience from programming slightly more independently lol.
Though I've taken coding classes before, it's been awhile since I've made anything using basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript. This course was a great way to refresh those basic skills!
I was a true coding novice before I decided to sign up for a SheCodes workshop. It was an extremely well planned and executed series of lessons and challenges. I feel like I now have a solid foundation of knowledge to build on as I continue my coding journey!

I sincerely thank Matt Delac and the SheCodes staff for the start on my coding journey. SheCodes was instrumental in helping to further develop my coding skills. I gained a lot of knowledge in 3 weeks. I loved how the course was taught and that you could go at your own pace. The videos were easy to follow and to comprehend. The homework and the projects made you think critically and analytically. I have a BA in History. Learning HTML, CSS and Java has given me an important new skill that I was able to use in conjunction with my passion for history. I was able to use my new coding skills on the final project along with a historical topic which I love. The workshop was great at communicating. Slack is a great tool to use for asking questions. I always felt welcomed and comfortable asking questions or giving feedback on my projects. I found SheCodes to be the perfect online community for learn coding. I am glad that I made the decision to take the course and look forward to continuing with more advanced classes.
React can be challenging but the SheCodes workshop is very well structured and as always manages not only to provide fundamental notions but also allow students to put them into practice. As you get familiarized with the new techniques, the more you code the more you feel like the sky is the limit. Really glad with the result! 💪
This was definitely a challenge, but Matt made it very easy to learn! The week's work was divided into mini videos and easy to start and stop as needed. He went at a great pace and the challenges between each lesson were super helpful to practice before the weekly homework.
This is a great class! I really enjoyed learning all coding. It is awesome that now I have the basic skills in HTML, CSS, and Javascript to continue my progression into learning more code. It was a great experience. I am ready to advance and learn more!
I've tried to teach myself front-end development in the past, but it was so difficult for me to solidify what I learned. After taking the SheCodes Introduction course, I now have a very good basic understanding and knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. As a new mom, it's really difficult to find time for myself, so it was really great that I can watch the videos and complete the challenges and homework on my own time. I highly recommend SheCodes because the format is really intuitive and helpful. I'm super excited to continue coding and learn more!
SheCodes breaks concepts down into practical pieces that are easy to tackle. At the end of three weeks, I feel like I have tools I can ACTUALLY use.
I LOVED the SheCodes 3-week workshop! I'd been wanting to learn coding for a while, but hadn't wanted to commit to a course since I had no previous experience related to coding. I attended the SheCodes Express seminar and was super intrigued and signed up shortly after! I really enjoyed the workshop: the videos are super clear and easy to follow and Matt is a great instructor for people of all skill sets. Plus: the whole community (instructors and fellow coders) were all eager, generous and happy to help if I got stuck on a challenge or homework, and communication was made super easy via Slack. This workshop is excellent for learning the fundamentals of HTML, CSS & JavaScript. Matt's videos are easy to follow along with and he reinforces the knowledge gained each step of the way. I was introduced to programming years ago in college so this was a great way to freshen up my skills!
Having no experience of coding before the introduction course, I now have strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and can use it confidently. The course was really enjoyable and informative, I would definitely recommend it!

I really enjoyed the introduction to coding with SheCodes! I had been thinking about changing into product management for a long time but wasn't sure if I would like the coding aspects of it. I was really doubting if I would be able to do it and what's more important if I would enjoy it. These last few weeks have been extremely interesting and exciting for me. I had so much fun learning and creating new things. I find coding very rewarding as you see the results of your work almost immediately. I especially loved the final project as you get the chance to create something on your own and get to be really creative. The videos provided by Matt were very easy to follow and I learned a lot in such a short time! The community provided by SheCodes is great as you can both find help and help others! It feels like a safe space to ask any questions if you ever get stuck and you always get very quick feedback from the nice SheCodes team if the other girls can't help you out. I would absolutely recommend SheCodes and I am so much looking forward to continuing my learning in SheCodes Plus!
LOVED IT! I have been wanting to try coding to see if I liked it for a while but I was reluctant as I had no previous experience whatsoever with coding and I had no idea if it would be something I could actually do, or enjoy. I watched the SheCodes Video and decided that I would give it a try. Surprisingly, I enjoyed this 3 months more than I was expecting as the videos are easy to follow, Matt gives you great advice and if we get stuck, we can always count on the team to help us out on Slack. It was challenging at times, but also very rewarding when you get to see the result of something you have built. The project at the end was a lot of fun because it was more personal. SheCodes is a really amazing program! Matt explains everything very clearly so that everything is easy to understand. The lessons are laid out at good pace which makes learning very comfortable. I tried learning JavaScript on my own but found it too confusing... then when I listened to Matt explain it I understood right away. The girls are super supportive and the staff are amazing too. Learning how to code has been something that I have wanted to learn/ do for a while. Like most of those who are reading this, I questioned whether I had the brain capacity to learn this. Before this 3 week course I knew nothing about coding. I had this idea that I would never understand something like this. Although some of it is challenging, you learn quickly and are able to apply what you learn after every lesson! LOVE IT! I can now build my own landing page, definitely the beginning of more coding for me!

After participating in the "SheCodes Workshop", I became eager to learn more about coding, a world I had never stepped into before, which is why I decided to do the "SheCodes Plus" one. The classes are well structured and easy to follow! The information is provided progressively, so you don't feel overwhelmed. Also, Matt shares plenty of tools, tips and tricks that will help you better understand how things work! I'm also very thankful for the team and all the volunteers, who were always very kind and helpful, and for our slack community, ;)! SheCodes is the best and I recommend it to anyone ready for a new fun challenge. During this quarantine, I was not working and had a lot more time and decided to learn something new. I had no prior experience or knowledge with coding so I was pretty nervous. Shecodes provides great support if I had a question or got stuck on the challenges it was easy to contact a Shecodes helper. Matt's video lectures were easy and clear to follow. I really enjoyed this introductory course! It was simple and straightforward. By the end of the course, I felt comfortable with the basic elements of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
I was able to pick up on basic skills and improve my understanding of HTML and Java.
Loved all of the classes - it was easy to piece off the material in doable chunks. Felt very supported by the SheCodes community on Slack. I would recommend this class to anyone even slightly interested in learning to code and encourage them to do so despite any previous experience or knowledge level.

SheCodes Plus was a great experience! In a short time you are able to create a functioning app! I found the process extremely rewarding, as you go back and forth with the coding of your app and the staff is always super helpful with all your doubts! Sincerely recommend!

SheCodes is a great coding course, especially for beginners, who have never tried to code before. The instructor is very good at explaining the different HTML, CSS and Javascript elements and why you are using it. The videos are also very easy to follow and so are the challenges. It is all a good build-up for the final project, where you really can put your skills to the test! I feel I have a way better basic understanding of coding, and hope to work more with it in the future!
SheCodes workshop was an amazing experience I would highly recommend! I did the 3 weeks workshop and I wanted to learn, practice and to know more about coding. This learning experience has been better than I ever expected. It really challenged me. With online workshops sometimes is hard to stay motivated, but the challenges, the homeworks, the SheCodes team and the Slack chat makes it easy. The SheCodes team provides all the support that we need during the all workshop and Matt is a great instructor. I loved it and look forward to the next workshop.

After completing the introduction course I was very intrigued by the possibility of learning more coding with SheCodes. Much like Intro to Coding course this was easy to understand with videos and notes provided and it's possible to fit into my hectic schedule! There were challenging aspects to this 6-week course but there is great support provided and I feel accomplished and proud of myself that I completed it!

I signed up for Introduction to Coding hoping to improve my coding skills...but I left with so much more. I learned HTML5, CSS3 and ES6 to enhance my UX and web design knowledge and skills. Now I can communicate with development teams more efficiently and effectively. I look forward to continuing on to the Plus workshop to gain further proficiency.

The SheCodes Workshop was an AWESOME experience! The course is broken down into bitesize pieces, and the challenges at the end of each lesson were really helpful with practicing and reinforcing the content as you learn. Matt is truly a great teacher and is able to explain JavaScript in a way everybody will understand. If help is required there is a safe environment to ask your questions, and you'll have an answer within minutes! No wasting time here. I'm looking forward to continuing my journey with SheCodes Plus and React!
Great challenge! The ability to apply and create content while learning is what this workshop offered me. I am now more confident utilizing acquired IT coding skills while pursuing a career in technology.
This learning experience has been better than I expected. It really challenged me to learn! At times I felt like a master and other times felt lost but eager to understand. Thankfully there are tons of resources at my exposure if ever I needed extra help!
