Definitely a more advanced lesson in JavaScript and lengthier than the Basics workshop, but so rewarding to complete your very own customized weather app! The Slack Team was a huge help whenever I got stuck on something. I keep making little mistakes but am confident that the more time I can devote to practicing/coding the easier I’ll spot these errors myself and the better it will all sink in. On to the next course! :)

It was fun and rewarding to build the app from scratch by learning all the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, JS, and API.
In this workshop, I became more familiar with Javascript, React, API calls, CSS styling and more. I learned the importance of folder structure and how to deploy a React application to Netlify. I am confidence my experience gained here will help me in my future projects!
A great coding class! would highly recommend it as it's very hands-on with challenges for each lesson so you get to practice practice practice until perfect!
The course was very informative and really helped break down everything. My only dislike is there is a time frame to complete each section. I would like to be able to learn on my own time, at my own pace but other than that It was very informative and easy to follow :)
This is a great little workshop that builds on your knowledge and understanding of HTML and CSS properties. I especially loved the edition of adding a dark mode to the project!
I had been interested in coding for a long time but I didn't think I could do it and didn't know where I could fit it in with my healthcare career. After signing up for the free class, it sealed my fate. I immediately joined the Basics workshop and it is one of the best decisions I have ever done. This has shown me so many opportunities. This workshop was so easy and very understandable. I cannot wait to start the other workshops!

What a way to start my coding journey! I have thoroughly enjoyed every step of this SheCodes workshop 🙌 It is only the beginning, but I started this journey not knowing anything about coding, to actually putting a web page together from scratch - which is incredible in just 3 weeks. All of the lessons, tasks, and homework each week were very useful, not only do they help you gain a bunch of coding skills, they're actually tricky and challenge you! It's also really fun and has only made me excited to continue on this journey. 😊

I really enjoyed the She Codes basic programme. It was a great introduction to coding, and the lessons where enjoyable. I loved having little projects throughout the workshop and enjoyed working on the final project at the end, which tied everything you learn in the programme together!

I enjoyed the challenge of creating my own weather app. The project the engaging and set up in a way where I did not think, "This is impossible". I felt very accomplished after completing this project.
I went from being a girl who dreamt of and aspired to write any sort of code at all, to finally being actually understanding the real essentials of coding, and then writing simple code that actually runs. I am in the very begining stages o f my coding journey but this workshop has made me feel so empowered and confident that i can achieve even more in this field. The team is very responsive and supportive. I look forward to making them and myself proud.

This was an awesome addition to the Weather App that we had to produce.. I was left wondering about time zones and displaying the date and time of other cities around the world, and the add-on course answered it! Really enjoyed learning an extra new skill.

SheCodes Plus was incredible! I was constantly hungry for more knowledge after each lesson. The structured curriculum, which progressively advanced in complexity, kept me engaged and motivated throughout the program. I wanted to apply for this workshop for a long time, but I was always postponing because I'm not very good with computers and had no idea of what to expect about coding, but one day I decided to have a go, "Why not?", and I just loved it!
