I really enjoyed SheCodes React! React can be quite challenging, but the projects helped reinforce my learnings and I will continue working on both the Weather and Dictionary projects after this class. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in learning React.

I approached SheCodes immediately after graduating in Data Science. In my studies, I have known other programming languages but I didn't know anything about web programming and I was curious to know if I might like it. I could have bought books or searched for free material on the internet, but I preferred to take a course that was simple but consistent. And I can confirm that it is a course suitable for anyone! Matt explains in a simple way and the learning is very gradual. I recommend it to anyone who wants to approach these topics, even if just out of curiosity. I had forgotten how much fun coding was .. 😊
This workshop enabled me to deepen my CSS skills and create a website that looks great on any device. Throughout the videos, challenges and final project I learnt more about advanced CSS techniques, SEO and design development. I enjoyed every bit of it!

I was feeling a little lost when my brother told me to try this. I decided to give it a go. I was surprised when I found I loved it. Because of that, I found a new passion... coding! I really enjoyed SheCodes basic workshop for two main reasons: first it has been taught in a pretty simple way including great examples and explanations which made the learning process very sweet and interesting. It was also fun. I must admit that Matt Delac is truly a great teacher. I spent hours watching videos and didn't notice that it was passing so fast. Second, the assignments had been designed so well that let the students practice the lessons in a highly productive and challenging way. They had an impressive role to help me master what I had learned through workshop. In a nutshell, I am really pleased with the first workshop and so excited to go to the next stage…

Having completed the other SheCodes courses, I was very excited when this one was announced, and couldn't wait to sign up. The information around creating responsive layouts is a very helpful component when building sophisticated and professional-looking sites, and the introductory knowledge about SEO, what it is and how and why you should incorporate it into your site is something that a lot of people will find very useful. I have since gone on to look more into the web analytics side of things, but this course gave me an excellent start in this area. As always, Matt is an excellent teacher, and I highly recommend this SheCodes course to those looking to expand their coding and website-building skills.
The course was extremely interesting, I enjoyed working with APIs and GitHub. And the fact that the weekly homeworks were related to the final project was super helpful, this way I could finish the final project way sooner than I expected.
This is one of the best course I would suggest for every beginner in web development. The course was very systematic and was very effective.

Working for TikTok before and now, Asurion, sparked my interest in all things tech-related but mostly coding. The thing is, I didn't know where to start so I spent weeks and weeks looking for the perfect online coding class. Yes, there's a lot of free courses out there, but I know myself. Without proper structure and motivation, I'd simply fail. I was so glad then when I saw an ad for SheCodes on Instagram. I looked it up, went through each workshop's details to see which one fits me the most, read the testimonials, even checked out some of the alumni's LinkedIn profiles to make sure the reviews were legit. And it was. I just finished SheCodes Basics and couldn't be happier and more proud of myself. Matt is an amazing instructor--he's clear and explains things really well. As someone with minimal coding background, I was able to grasp everything Matt talked about easily. I also love that the lessons are structured and that each lesson is followed by challenges where I get to practice what I just learned. After doing SheCodes Basic, I carried on to Plus. WOW! JS is indeed difficult and Matt gives us a good idea of how it works. I love the challenges and the fact that we can get help from the slack group, they are always so helpful!

I even suprised myself how excited I was when completing challenges and working on the final project :) For w very long time I was looking for some idead to change my career, to swap my rather dull office job for something more creative and exicitng. I found SheCodes at a perfect time in my life: while I was between jobs and thinking I should add to my skill set as a graphic designer. Basic course gave me a better notion of coding, but SheCodes Plus is a huge step forward, it was truly challenging for me but always enjoyed it because Matt's explanations are really clear,concise and illustrative, also it's very useful that the recordings are accesible anytime. I got more used to Slack, I realized other students shared similar doubts which sheCodes Support team helped solving.

SheCodes Pro was so rewarding! I can't even begin to explain how much I value this course. It requires a lot of work and a lot of brain power to grasp the concepts and put them all together, but when you nail it and your project works, it's the best feeling in the world. I definitely would recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to learn how to code but can be overwhelmed by too many resources/courses/textbooks that are available. SheCodes offers an amazing introduction to coding with great guidance from Matt and feedback from others along the way. This interactivity makes it a very special experience!
Besides learning about HTML, CSS, JS, using API, how to host and getting familiar with Bootstrap - which one can learn on any course, I'd suspect -, I was constantly pushed to try more. Every challenge tested my progress and when I got stuck, other coders and the very friendly and professional staff of SheCodes provided help over slack 24/7.
After one week of HTML/CSS basics and one week of Javascript basics, Matt and the team at Shecodes unfolded the magic of mark-up languages, enabling me to build my very first own landing page. At my own pace. Which makes it even more awesome ❤️ The lessons are short and concise, well structured, and easy to digest with the follow-up mini-tasks that make you learn as you go. Really gives you a kick start to frontend knowledge and opens the door to learn even more from there.
I was feeling overwhelmed by JavaScript while learning through Udemy, but this course breaks it down into manageable chunks. The excitement of getting the JavaScript to work is real! I am excited to continue my SheCodes journey with React and hopefully a new career!

The structure, the community, the humanness has made this experience unlike anything else. The pandemic life has been confusing and hard and weird so having this community to start something new with really has been incredible.
After finishing the Basics course, I was ready to dive in deeper and learn. Now that I have completed Plus I am ready to refine and improve my newly learned skills! These courses are a great way to teach yourself (through the lovely guidance of Matt and the SheCodes team) to code! I am so happy I took to leap and tried out SheCodes. I am now into the next course, here I come Responsive. :3

Learning more about coding is something I've been interested in for some time now. I'm so glad I came across SheCodes and decided to try it! The course was fun, challenging, and informative. I would definitely recommend this for beginning coders!
I took SheCodes Plus immediately after the Basic course. And it was a smooth next-level. Again, Matt has been a great guide through the labyrinth of code and its creation logic. All his tips and guidelines prove to be 100% correct - it pays off to be patient, test own code constantly and stop for a while if you hit the wall. Seeing the final app, maybe not the most beautiful by design, but fully functional makes me proud. I did program it myself and I want more!! :)
I can't praise SheCodes enough! I've learned so much during this workshop that I had never known and I feel pretty darn confident in responsive website work whereas before it was definitely a daunting area that I didn't think I would ever grasp.

The responsive workshop has been very challenging for me, I had to spent a lot of patience to work on the small details of my portfolio website. But I liked that Matt gives so much freedom to create your own personal website and at the same time gives many helpful and inspiring advices for the process!
I started with the basics and front-end development workshop, thinking that was all I needed but I am so glad I took the responsive workshop so my website looks great on every device! I am in school to be an XR developer so being able to make my own website and showcase my portfolio to future employers is very important for me.
I love learning new things and discovering how things 'work'. Coding has been on my to 'explore' list for a very long time, but I didn't know where to start. Most online courses seem to assume you have some kind of background in coding, and I didn't want to spend a small fortune or the time commitment required to attend a formal coding bootcamp, in case I didn't enjoy coding after all. I'm so glad I came across the SheCodes add on Instagram. In SheCodes Basics, Matt teaches the very basic fundamentals of coding, and slowly builds from there. He doesn't assume you know what he's talking about but takes the time to explain the concepts with lots of examples. I can't wait to continue learning and building on the knowledge and skills I've acquired from this course.
