It's never to late to start. Working in the blue collar industry (Wind energy) I thought I didn't/wouldn't have time. With the flexible schedule SheCodes has, I have more than enough time to continue my journey.

With this course, I have gained knowledge on how to code applications that are responsive, meaning that they display correctly on a range of devices through the incorporation of media queries and bootstrap utility classes. Overall this course has pushed me further and allowed me to feel more confident in my ability as a front-end developer.

I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity to learn coding. I have experienced many educational programs in my life, I am a psychologist-coach, teacher and educational author, and I can honestly say that this was the best course ever. Course structure: The lessons are incredibly well structured, showing excellent insight in what the student is going through. For example, just when I felt like I needed to review the previous material because it was getting a little bit overwhelming, the next lesson - week 7- was a recap in which everything we had learnt was reviewed. Course content: Next to that, each lesson was a tiny step, so I never felt lost or confused. This is a key point to the course: it could seem incredibly overwhelming, but because of the small steps you suddenly arrive at the destination without realizing it! Individual learning path: The program also gives you the option to choose which level you want to engage in. For instance, the final project had two options, a basic and a more ellaborate one. And when working on the weekly challenges you can ask for help or get some hints if you want to. In terms of what we learn, I have consulted with software developers and they say it's a very complete program. Support! The SheCodes team is also very supportive and responsive: they are always available on Slack or email to answer any questions or help with any issues very quickly so when things got challenging it was nice to know that they were there. Their tone was always very friendly and they always put a smile on my face. Also, through Slack, other students help as well. SheCodes community: Last but not least, what really makes this experience unforgettable is the sense of community that the course creates. The SheCodes Radio we got from Matt just did it for me :) :). Thank you SheCodes! I enrolled in the Basic Course and then I immediately signed up for the Max course. Now that the Plus course is almost over, I am so glad I did, because I don't want to stop here! If you doubt whether to enrol or not, just DO IT! You will be so happy you did!

This workshop was exciting for me. I didn't expect to take an Intro to AI workshop but I learned a lot. I highly recommend to anyone that is coding.
After trying the free class, I was a little concerned about how the lessons would go. But I had nothing to worry about - Matt's explanations were easy to follow, and I liked the provided challenges to help solidify what you just learned. The Slack community was also a great source to ask questions (chances are, someone already asked the same one before!), and so I felt like it was truly self-paced since I didn't need to wait for people to get back to me. I am so excited to keep learning!

I've been looking to change careers and knew this is something I wanted to look into but didn't know where to start, or if I'd even enjoy it. I wasn't willing to go back to school and get yet another degree for something I wasn't sure about. I'm glad I found SheCodes! This is a great place to start and get a feel for it. Instruction is good & projects are challenging. I've learned a lot already in just the basics. Support from SheCodes seems great as well, though I haven't needed to reach out myself yet. Now I have some confidence in pursuing this career and my ability to do it. I'm excited to keep moving forward and wouldn't have done this without finding SheCodes!

I wasn't sure how I would get on with the SheCodes Plus course however I enjoyed it and have learnt a lot during the 8wks of study. I can now create a website, fix bugs and confidently research and try new code I may need for my projects which helps with further learning.

I did not start as a full beginner into this course. I had some knowledge of code already, but studied it by myself. The first part helped me a lot to get familiar with the standards again and gain a great foundation for the next steps for my future as a software developer.
The course was incredibly well-structured and easy to follow, even for someone with no coding background. As a result of the SheCodes course, I have developed a strong foundation in web development and I am now able to build my websites from scratch. I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics workshop. I've had some experience with HTML/CSS prior to the workshop, but it's been great to refresh my memory and learn a few new things. I really liked Matt's approach to JavaScript, since this was the subject that I was most worried about. But the lessons are understandable, and after a few exercises I've got the hang of it.

I was always very curious about coding and wanted to see if it was something I could learn. I took the free class to get some insight and found that Matt is a fantastic instructor and gave my the confidence to take the Basics class. I really appreciate that this add on went in depth on how to make a website more aesthetic and increased my knowledge on how to do themes. I was worried about the final project, but with Matt walking us through I had a lot more confidence.
After making the decision to make a change in my career path, I was introduced to SheCodes by my friend. It was definitely a great way to be introduced to this field. Even though this was just the basics, I enjoyed being able to create projects with what I have learned. SheCodes plus workshop is a blust🥳.. I started with basics and I was hooked, I fell inlove with coding then moved to plus and it has been a challenging and fun journey. I have learnt so much from the plus workshop, I have acquired many new skills and ultimately created a weather app that utilises real life data 💻. I had such a great time doing the SheCodes basic course. I had zero knowledge about coding but this course has been a great first step in being introduced to front-end coding. I found myself looking forward to it once I finished with my day job. The lessons were easy to follow and there's a ton of resources you can use. The staff on Slack were very helpful, as well as the other students in the community.
Joyful in my journey as a front-end developer, but bittersweet as I finish my last SheCodes lesson.
