Starting the SheCodes Plus workshop was difficult at first, but in the end it was worthwhile. Unlike previous workshops, learning JavaScript was not for the faint of heart. After a few classes, the language, which had once seemed intimidating, began to make sense. The challenge revealed how important it was to stay resilient, and success hinged on persistently engaging with the material. SheCodes Plus may be tougher, particularly for people who are not comfortable with JavaScript, but the journey is marked by moments of clarity and accomplishment, turning it into a rewarding experience.
Good to learn more about AI and how we can use it to are advantage as long as we are very specific in our instruction to it.

Yet again a wonderful experience! The challenges this time were more difficult, but I still had lots of fun completing them. This workshop built upon my previous skills, I learnt more about CSS and Java Script.
Constructive course to learn more about how to code with loads of tools, explanatory videos, and practical exercises that allow you to understand the logic behind the code. In case you get stuck you also have AI tool and Slack team assistance to ensure you do the challenging task.
Yet another remarkable experience! This workshop was an absolute blast! I acquired a deeper understanding of implementing JavaScript, APIs and effectively utilising moment.js, along with invaluable coding tips. Matt and the team were as exceptional and supportive as ever.
I already knew some very basic HTML but didn't think I could learn anything beyond that. Even without much prior knowledge, the instructions were easy to follow. I'm incredibly proud of the final result.

I was curious about coding for a long time as it combines both logical challenges and a creative side of things and I had the time to finally get into it and I absolutely loved it. This was a great intro course! The videos are easy to understand for beginners and there's access to lots of support. The final project allows you to combine everything you have learnt to solidify your skills, which I really enjoyed.
Such a fun course. Its so satisfying to have a working project by the end of this! Matt goes in depth but makes it as simple as possible to understand the terminology and work-flow of building this - especially the javascript.
React was definitely hard... but the SheCodes team was super supportive. I'm glad I was able to complete this!

JavaScript's ability to provide interactivity and dynamism to websites is unsurpassed. It's been a difficult path, but I've welcomed every obstacle because it's helped me improve my programming knowledge and skills.
Challenging but worthwhile
I really enjoyed doing this workshop! It took me a while to convince myself that being from the humanities didn't mean I couldn't do and enjoy coding. The digital humanities are here! All it took was a small task of adding city codes to a database to light up the spark. Finding SheCodes was the best way to start understanding a bit more of what coding is, and with the small videos and challenges it made it really fun!
The best way to learn to code. Each lesson is more challenging, rightfully pushing you to give 100% of yourself. The deadlines help you be consistent and get better every week. The community on Slack is amazing and the tutors help you out a lot if you have problems. I started from 0 just 2/3 months ago and I am pretty confident now. I would suggest SheCodes to everyone 💯🌟
