I had a good time learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The style used in tutoring was beginner-friendly, which helped me a lot in grasping the knowledge I was learning. I am grateful for the opportunity I have been given to go through the free Coding Class.

I really enjoyed SheCodes Basic course. I had the pleasure of creating a web page from scratch. Coming from the non-technical field area is not a joke. SheCodes is an amazing program to get introduced to the basics of front-end development and experiment with coding. Matt, is an excellent teacher and has created an informative platform for women coders. SheCodes have a great team too. Slack channel was very helpful in solving the doubts. I loved doing the homework at the end of each week lessons. One of the best coding classes I have ever come across.
My journey so far have been amazing and though the last project was a bit challenging but without giving up, i managed to complete the whole program and i have gained a lot of knowledge,Thank you SHECODES...
I learned so much with SheCodes Plus. I've always been curious about how APIs work and now I actually built an app with live data. I would definitely recommend this workshop as it expanded my knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JS significantly.
SheCodes has been such an awesome way to learn coding at a pace that works well for me. I originally started a bootcamp with a University, and the pace in which classes moved along was crazy - I couldn't keep up! SheCodes allows me to take my classes whenever and wherever it works best for me (within homework due dates, of course). I would recommend shecodes to anyone looking to learn something new!
This add-on workshop was also a lot of fun to do! It was really nice to have gained more HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge to add even cooler things to a web page!
This class was great and easy to follow. I am still learning, but I enjoyed the format and style of the class. I recommend this class to a beginner who is learning how to code.
This was a great introduction to coding. I feel like I know so much more than I started with. Matt was great and explained things well. It was a little challenging at times since everything was so new, but it felt so good when I figured it out.

I learned a lot in this round of Responsive. It took a lot of trial and error but it all came together in the end. I like that Matt walks you through each phase of the project.

This was such a fun project! I was a bit out of practice due to just having a baby, and this was just what I needed to reinvigorate my passion for coding.
SheCodes has been amazing in teaching me what I need to code. It's super fun and interactive, the whole course is broken down into small sections that allows you to digest everything and go back over if you need. The challenges have been great and the final project was exciting (was great to be able to do a subject of your choosing), it allows you to play around with code and really explore and learn. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get into coding :)

Basics add-on is the perfect class to take in between basics and SheCodes Plus. It gave me a chance to refresh my memory on what we learned in basics, add a few more skills, and easily create a project worth showing. I love SheCodes! I absolutely loved this class! I never considered coding to be something that would interest me until recently, but I love languages, patterns, numbers and data, so it's perfect for me! Graduated high school with pretty good grades but decided to take a gap year to figure things out in terms of what i want for my future.Joined a few different courses then came across SheCodes and I instantly knew that this was something i would want to do and commit to.This is probably the best online coding platform for beginners literally set up to ensure you succeed.Thank you Matt and team.
When I started SheCodes I was a complete beginner. Now I have a basic understanding of what HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are, and I am able to put together a simple website. I've learned how to add links, images, and buttons to websites, and have prompts and alerts based on how the user responds. Matt makes learning easy and fun! The course work is well organized and easy to follow. There is always help available using the Slack app.
I did enjoy to build a new project, i am very happy with outcome :)
To be honest, this course was easier than SheCodes Plus. Of course, knowledge and confidence have already accumulated. In addition, there was no Java Script. Today JS is the most difficult for me. Another achievement I consider is that I already watch video lessons with virtually no translation. It’s very interesting to watch how a whole website appears from a set of symbols, you feel like a magician. In Responsive you have to pay a lot of attention to detail; you have to redo many sections of the page several times, changing parameters for each screen size. I would like to express my gratitude to Met and the SheCodes team for the opportunity to learn. Of course, I definitely recommend these courses.
I think this workshop is really valuable - I learnt a lot and stayed motivated to study everyday. The challenges really keep you engaged, and each topic is well explained.
Learning to work with AIs has been way more fun than I was expecting, and a lot more accessible than I feared! I had a great time, and would encourage anyone to try it too.

SheCodes is a great way to get your feet wet in the coding world. Matt's videos are very helpful and I like the way it is laid out, it keeps you going when it can be so easy to push off. Having deadlines and being surrounded with people who are going thru this with you and all the help others can provide is just an amazing community to be a part of.
It was pretty tough but i was able to pull through and for every issue i overcame i felt really proud so im very grateful for sheCodes for giving me this oppotunity.

SheCodes is really that God sent angel we have been told about while growing up,from being a complete beginner to being someone who can maneuver around HTML,CSS& JAVASCRIPT.I really loved the lessons, they were very detailed and understandable. The fact that you are taught and given challenges so you can understand the context of the lesson is what helped me get to where i am, still looking for even more fruitful lesson.
I really enjoyed the Responsive Add-on. Having a break from JavaScript was welcome, but I also really enjoyed the reminder of how powerful just HTML and CSS can be; and how tricky they can be! Like the other SheCodes courses I've done so far, I'd highly recommend this one too.
The basics workshop was a great way to learn how to code from complete scratch with no prior knowledge!
I have always loved coding but had convinced myself it needed a genius and never thought I would find myself excited about an opportunity to code. I now find myself smiling at any coding challenge I encounter and the joy I get when my code produces results I can't even explain it but if I had to put it in words, I would say its like butterflies in my stomach. I have no prior experience with coding and Matt teaches you in a way that makes you feel like an advanced coder, not a beginner. Looking forward to walking this journey with my head held up high.

I had a difficult time starting out, but the practice videos and instructions were very helpful in getting me to improve. I had a lot of fun, despite the learning curve.

SheCodes React was quite challenging but worth it. Matt did a great job by giving a detailed and easy-to-understand explanation of React. She Codes plus was a lot more challenging than Basics but I can say that I have completed it with a weather app that I am extremely proud of.
This one was quite challenging with very dense information. I think it could've been spread out more into different themes/focuses with more gradual homework tasks towards the final project. Also The errors and experiments with the live coding were confusing. I would've much preferred a redo version. I also think the documentation is not always compatible with the material featured in the learning videos.
I had an amazing experience at the workshop! I learned a lot and it has inspired me to improve my coding skills even further. It has shown me that I am capable of understanding and excelling in coding. I am really looking forward to embarking on this coding journey and seeing where it takes me.
