The Plus workshop was a challenge compared to the Basic program. However, once I finished I was really happy because of how my final project resulted. The challenge that comes with the Plus workshop is definitely worth it.

I enjoyed creating the dictionary application, I hope to continue learning and improving my skills in React. The Dictionary app was a fun way to integrate multiple api's.

I really enjoyed this workshop. I have a learning disability and haven't been in school in years, so I was nervous I would have difficulty, however it was pretty simple and straight forward. I actually had a ton of fun creating the last project, even so that I finished super early and tried to add in extra things that were taught, and things I googled to figure out. It was really fun! I did have issues with how the videos would teach us one thing, but then the work you needed to submit asked you to do something that wasn't even taught to you yet. I also didn't quite understand why an entire workshop for teaching women to code is taught by a man. A woman instructor would be better, though I understand Matt is the creator and therefor he teaches it all. I would really like to continue with the other workshops, however they are unfortunately not something I can afford.
I graduated high school this year and wanted to see if the field of STEM was for me. Since it's really not encouraged for young girls to do anything in the STEM direction, I wanted to take a look and SheCodes has made the field so much more accessible that I can't wait to continue learning with the advanced course and direct my studies in that direction.
Really loved learning the coding basics. The workshop was challenging but fulfilling. I enjoyed the activities throughout which gave me a chance to do the coding myself and learn as we go.

My brother, who is a software engineer, has told me so many times that I have good problem-solving skills and that I should learn coding. He tried teaching me coding before, but when he did, to me it was very overwhelming, and so I thought that I coding was never for me until years later and I found a free coding session of SheCodes online. I decided to give it a try because I thought, "What's the worst that could happen?". There I found Matt teaching coding in a very approachable manner, explaining everything as if he were taking me by the hand leading me step by step. The way he makes comments on subjects make the lessons relatable so that I did not feel intimidated or overwhelmed. Surprisingly, I enjoyed so much that I decided to try out the 3-week course. And now that I've finished the 3-week course, I can actually see that I do have a potential to make this my career so I've decided to dive into SheCodes Max to invest in myself for my future. I would not have been able to learn on my own if not for SheCodes. I'm excited to start next week!
React was difficult to understand, but the bigger concepts did make sense by the end of the course. I am happy with the final project and would like to learn more about React.

This has by far been the most challenging yet extremely motivating project yet. Javascript is quiet challenging but going through the videos, pausing when there is a need to and taking a break when necessary is highly advised. I enjoyed building this weather app so much and would recommend people to start coding through SheCodes.
A big amount of a new information was presented in this course, helping us to create a great project. Explanation is easy to understand, making me motivated to continue learning and creating.

I started learning Programming from scratch with no prior knowledge with She Codes and i have grown to love and understand the language as a result of my lessons. My hope was to understand and learn more about IT and get a job in the future and She Codes has made it a reality for me. She Codes is a great opportunity for every woman that wants to understand more about coding and/or the world around it, whether she comes with existing knowledge or starts from scratch.it is very easy to understand and homework after certain lessons really build up your confidence to next level. Great Workshop!
This course was a bit of a ride. It had its moments of head-scratching, but it managed to keep me engaged. The challenges were like small hurdles, making the learning process a tad more interesting. Debugging turned into a practical exercise, not just a headache. So, yeah, it had its share of difficulties, but overall, it made diving into React less of a chore and more like a learning experience.
It was a good challenge, I'm glad I got to experience this journey with SheCodes

It was a great learning experience. I work in marketing and thought that this basics course was very applicable. While I've had some exposure to html/css/js in my work, I've never coded it myself, and I think this course really helped me understand what goes into the backend of any browser page working. As someone who never imagined I'd ever learn to code, I am really happy and proud of what I was able to accomplish in such a short time.
The Plus series have been my favorite of all the workshops so far.

I've enjoyed every single second of this workshop!!! 😊 The lessons are very well structured and paced. Matt has a natural talent for teaching, he just makes everything very easy to understand with real-life examples. I really enjoyed every part of the SheCodes basics learning from how our Instructor Matt taught everything to doing the homework and the project on my own. Coding is fun! Before starting at SheCodes, I thought that coding was difficult and that I would have a hard time learning it though I found it interesting. But, thanks to Matt and the SheCodes slack community, it was a wonderful experience. In just 3 weeks, I've become 3 languages smarter. The best part of the workshop for me was working on my final project where I was able to freestyle and be creative.

I've always felt that coding is meant for the smart ones or at least those with strong computer background and that kept me far away from it. But upon joining SheCodes Foundation, Matt being the great teacher he is made me realize even I can code.
