I'm thrilled to have gained invaluable insights from this experience! I learned about bootstrap and discovered how it simplifies the web development process. I learned how to craft responsive websites that look stunning on any device and I gained a solid understanding of SEO principles to improve my website's visibility. The entire learning journey was engaging and enjoyable. I'm eager to continue exploring and improving my skills. :)
I always was interested in coding, but didn't know which avenue to take to ensure the best results. Then I came across the "SheCodes" ad on social media and decided to take a look at it. I was skeptical at first but as I got a preview of the material through the thumbnails I was hooked and definitely appreciated the structure shown because it felt like I was back at school again without the huge cost. It was an informative program that I learned a lot from and I am looking forward to advancing to my skillset when the time comes to ensure that the lessons taught stick.
Coding has now become a passion of mine, I started with intro to coding and I am happy to announce that I just finished the React module! My coding skills are getting better with every project we work on. thanks to Shecodes Team.

During this project, I enhanced my understanding of responsive design, semantic HTML, and dynamic styling with CSS. I also successfully incorporated interactive features, such as embedded Google Maps and structured image galleries. This experience taught me how to create a user-friendly and responsive website without relying on frameworks like Bootstrap.

This particular workshop was very challenging. The good news is the videos and the projects are there for me to try my hands on again. My main challenge has to do with figuring out the javascript functions and calling of the functions.
Python was fun to learn! Having previous experience in other coding languages made it easy to grasp.
Oh my! This has been amazing! APIs were always a weak point for me because they were so hard to understand. However, this course walked me through the process so easily!

When we started working on a Weather app during week one of SheCodes plus, the task seemed very intimidating. Especially the requirement to incorporate real time data. Matt did an excellent job breaking down the daunting task into comprehensible lessons. At the end of the course, my Weather app project no longer felt intimidating rather, it was quite fun to work with. It felt easy enough to work on, that I challenged myself to build two additional themes for the app. I love the challenges at the end of most lessons, testing frequently is one of the best ways to retain and recall new information. This was a wonderful course to continue building my skillset and improving the design and aesthetics of building a website to be both responsive and beautiful.
I coded along Matt and the repetition really helps to solidify the knowledge. Even though I am not ready to code the advanced features myself, I am confident now, that with this level of knowledge I a can continue to work on my Portfolio and apply for jobs already!

It was one of the best tasks. I did not struggle that much.
Even though short, Plus Add On was that cherry on the cake, that completed the full picture and provided the needed information. It was condensed but yet easy to assimilate, and I had a lot of fun to build the World Clock app.

I liked how Matt explained a concept and immediately we had to try to implement it. It makes memorizing easier, the explanations were concise and easy to understand.
The workshops are thought out well. Matt is a good instructor and his videos are thorough with good examples. I have tried many video based courses to assist with becoming a web developer but I find myself losing interest. I like the fact there are due dates with the homework assignments and projects. That keeps me more focused and willing to stay motivated.

I had already learned Python before starting this module, so it was a nice little practice for me, and I enjoyed the final project! I was introduced to a new Python library (RICH) and compared using Python vs. Javascript after focusing solely on JS for a while. Once again, Matt does a wonderful job of breaking the learning into easily digestible bites, which makes the learning feel easy while still challenging.
React is definitely challenging, especially when you're just starting out, but itβs an amazing framework that helps you learn a lot of important skills in front-end development. I recommend it to anyone looking to improve their coding abilities, but be preparedβit takes time, dedication, and a lot of patience to really get the hang of it.

What a rough module. I almost gave up on the whole course. I cried i felt frustrated but determination and resilience came over me. Really hated sandbox after passing all those sandbox challenges everything after that was smooth Thank you.

SheCodes Responsive Add-On was by far the most challenging course Iβve taken, but also the most rewarding. I learned the true value of building responsive websites from scratch instead of relying on pre-designed templates like Bootstrap. This approach pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me gain a deeper understanding of web development fundamentals. Itβs an experience thatβs made me a more confident and capable coder!
I thought coding was difficult until I joined in SheCodes, they made the learning process to code easy and straight forward. They also have tools put into place to assist their students if they got stuck. The SheCodes platform made it so much fun to learn html, css and javascript. I feel very confident and the way Matt sir explains with examples from actual websites is a very great way to make our understandings even better. I have all my concepts very clear now, after having made a landing page on my own!
I found the AI add-on very helpful. As always, the videos were clear and easy to follow, slack is available for extra help. I found the prompt engineering and the user experience areas especially interesting.
Completing the Plus Addon was beneficial. It helped me to solidify my knowledge taught in the Plus course. I was able expand my technical proficiency by learning and incorporating moment.js.
