I just had the pleasure of taking the Basics Add-On course and when I tell you it was fun, I mean it. One thing about the instructor: He will walk you through everything you need to know about CSS and HTML. My advice would be to not be scared to ask for help because even the tiniest mistake can frustrate you.

I love the structure of these courses and how Matt guides you along each chapter step by step and each video is followed by a challenge. I also appreciate how he encourages us to use our resources and requires that we sometimes add elements that we haven't gone over so that we can learn how to find it online.
I have been studying coding on this platform for almost two weeks right now, it has been an amazing experience and I have enjoyed every moment of learning. I have had my problems and challenges but as the instructor Matt says they are part of the process and this course also helped me to know how to solve my own challenges while creating a website.
The course is a fun way to learn more about HTML, CSS and JS. It could go a bit more in depth or slower through the concepts.

Loved the workshop especially the challenges, they made it easier to reinforce information learnt and also loved the little golden nuggets we'd get during some lessons to teach us how to refine our skills outside the workshop.

Mr. Matt makes coding fun and easy. Being able to finish this project with all the elements and attributes I learned I feel like I am a developer already and that I can conquer the world. this is a fun and educative program if you give it time and I learnt a lot from this program and I'm looking forward to continuing with more of it, and its never late to start how to code and anyone can do it.

I really love the way Matt teaches, breaking every topic into pieces and going with one concept in a video which makes it very easy to grasp it as a newbie. Its a very beginner-friendly course and I would definitely recommend thus to everyone.

When I first embarked on my journey to learn React, I was both excited and overwhelmed. Coming from a background with basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge, I knew I had a solid foundation, but React seemed like an entirely new world. The initial learning curve was steep. Concepts like state, props, and the virtual DOM were completely new to me. However, as I started building small projects, these concepts began to click. The "thinking in React" approach shifted my perspective on web development, emphasizing the importance of a unidirectional data flow and component hierarchy. Applying what I learned through building projects was crucial. My first project was a simple to-do list application. It was a perfect starter project because it covered the core concepts: state management, event handling, and component structuring. As I progressed, I tackled more complex projects, such as a weather app.
I loved doing the Plus workshop, even when I had difficulty doing the code and fixing my mistakes everyone was always helpful and specific in helping me figure out what to do with my work.
In just two weeks, I've learned advanced HTML and JavaScript tools to make a website interactive. SheCodes Plus Add-on supplied valuable information in such a short time.
Highly educational and practical SheCodes Plus Add-On course. Not only it gave me a full-insight into working with Moment().js library, but also how to critically debug my code, and work independently on projects as a developer.
