I entered the world of programmation by gaining some knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I used my knowledge of these languages, along with my new skills in VS Code, to begin to build a different pages. And now, I combined all of these skills to create a page fully-functioning. One of my favourite workshops that I've completed this far!! This project was definitely handy in cementing certain concepts like conditional rendering & looping through arrays. My confidence in using these concepts has grown greatly between the two React workshops. Practice is key so having two guided react projects was much appreciated! Overall, it was a FUN challenge!! 🤩

Hello to my SheCodes friends, We know that JS is powerful and awesome. I have heard that some developers hate JS. During this course you are gonna learn how to code without hating JS. Because React is more powerful than JS. and makes it easy and have a clean code.
SheCodes Plus has been excellent. A challenge but I have learnt so, SO much. SheCodes is such a great way to learn. You can fit this in between work and kids, and it's such a cool skill to learn.

Try not to be deterred by the intimidating sound of the word "coding"! For a very long time, I believed that I wasn't "smart" enough to code, but after overcoming that barrier with SheCodes, I discovered that I actually love it! Coding truly challenges that portion of my brain, which I adore puzzles. Start out slowly, maintain your curiosity, and keep practicing to become more at ease. There is no reason why you cannot learn this, as millions of individuals have done before you.

This is a really well structured, fun and thorough introduction into coding. It doesn't assume you have base knowledge like a lot of platforms, so is very accessible in that way. I feel more confident about learning more now, it would have been difficult to gain this kind of knowledge in a self directed way without feeling overwhelmed.

It was very challenging and difficult, a great insight to what is possible with React.
I found the classes to be well-structured and paced, making them easy to follow. I have gained a lot of knowledge and am enthusiastic about continuing to code!
Quite a challenge to make the APIs work together, but was definitely worth it!
The course is very comprehensive and interactive - it is a lot to get your head around but there are plenty of opportunities to practice or ask for help when needed.

I love love love shecodes. Its an awesome place to learn coding and believe me have tried several places. From udemy to codeacademy to youtube but none beats shecodes. Shecodes made learning code so easy and fun. Its quite funny but i sometimes dream about bugs on my line of code then wake up thinking how to solve the bug i have or how to complete an assignment. My name is Mina, and I recently completed the SheCodes workshop. I have always been interested in coding, but I never knew how to get started until I came across SheCodes. The program was accessible, and I didn't feel intimidated by the materials or the instructors. The lessons were well-organized and I appreciated the attention to detail in the assignments, as they helped me to cement my understanding of the topics covered. I was also able to connect with other students in the community, which created a sense of accountability and motivation. Been in the hospitality business going on six years now am I'm already physically feeling the repercussions pf my decision. Now that I'm a mother, I realized that this field is demanding( physically, emotionally, and mentally), I'm looking to be able to find something that I can both work and grow as well as being able to take care of my daughter.

I had the most challenging yet fun time learning the basics of Front End with SheCodes. I'm impressed I actually got to finish the project which couldn't be real without the amazing SheCodes team assisting during the whole learning journey. Some of the parts were especially hard to understand, but Matt made sure each lesson has a detailed and step-by-step explanation. I will have a bit of rest and definitely jump to the next advanced chapter!

Unfortunately I could not finish the course as fast as I planned because of some unexpected work duties. I am very grateful for the team that they could provide extra extension so I could finish it without overstressing it. In general I really loved the course, in these times it is essential to create responsive websites that look good in all devices and we learned to tools to do that.
I think if you're an absolute begginer -that was me- at coding this workshop is perfect for you to take off and lose your fear. I've found the course super fun, interesting and well explained. Loved the challenges, the homework and the final project, I think it's a very effective way of learning.

Great course
SheCodes Basics is a good starting point for those interested in coding. The lessons are bite-size thus easily fit around a busy schedule. The final project is a culmination of what you've been taught but also allows for some creative freedom.
It was nice to polish up on my skills from before. But I think it's opened up a new possibility for me. Really glad I applied myself to this project.
