Three years ago, I discovered SheCodes, but my coding journey had to wait while I juggled Python and SQL in my role as an IT consultant. Having a background in art history and architecture, I realised that my inner creative geek was missing! Fast forward to stumbling upon SheCodes ads again, I dived into the introductory class, and boom, I was hooked. Signing up for SheCodes Max was a no-brainer. Fast forward to completing the SheCodes Basic workshop, and what can I say? Best decision ever! SheCodes has opened my eyes to coding. I enjoy it quite a bit. It's wonderful to be able to learn from Matt. Though there are times I didn't understand things, there are so many resources available around and if it were not for this course, I wouldn't have known how to use them. I learnt a lot from this course, initially I was afraid that I would not understand or be able to code an create anything through code. However Matt simplified everything breaking down each section of code and understanding how it works and how to read code. I have watched other tutorials for code but they did not make sense or help one grasp the concept of code. Matt is an excellent teacher and is great at sharing knowledge. I am happy that I can understand and code now. It has been a great experience.

This was by far the easiest workshop I encountered. I got to learn more about the CSS rules and learned how to deal with Bootstrap.
I've loved completing every second of this workshop, it makes learning coding seem so familiar, very smoothly paced, well thought out! Simply can't fault it at all. The learning environment on Slack is also extremely helpful!

The course content was well-structured, progressing from fundamental principles to advanced techniques seamlessly. It was great fun creating my project and creating my own portfolio. Love learning new things with Matt, who is very good at teaching and coding. Learning so much from him in such a short time.
Learning React was a bit overwhelming, but I can confidently say that i learned quite a bit and a lot of the things that were confusing at first came easily as time went on.
I am extremely glad to take your course. Programming for me was terra incognita. But now, after the first part of your program, I am inspired that it is not so difficult. The classes were not boring, interesting, exciting. I highly recommend this to all girls and women. The classes are highly professional and the result is a real product. It’s so nice that it was made with my own hands)). I also liked that each subsequent homework was built on the previous homework, rather than starting over. Therefore, there was no impression that time was being wasted, but all the time you were moving forward.
This was the most yolk-full workshop with responsiveness that I've taken. 5 Stars!

Really easy to follow and a great way to learn the basics. The bite sized lessons made it easy to stick to the course, and appreciated that the course was only 3 weeks and yet still allowed for project extensions when life got a little busier than planned!
Having never coded before, this course has taught me that with some time and patience, you can learn to code from a beginner level. I will definitely be booking onto the next level to hopefully start a journey into a career in tech. I find the lessons easy to follow, and it's amazing because I work full time, I am able to fit the lessons around my busy schedule.
