This is an excellent resource to learn the very basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The lessons are well-structured, making it easy for beginners to grasp every new concept.
It has been amazing working with SheCodes! It was easy to sign up as well as pass the 3 week assignments while still going to work and training my puppy. I am so glad to have finally finish and start a new journey to better my financial crisis.

In this workshop we learnt to work with image galleries, how to toggle the background color of a site with a theme button in a smooth and elegant way and learnt more about transitions.

Wow! I am very impressed with myself and the progress so far. Just take a look at my project and you will see how much I have improved in just a couple of weeks. The regular hands-on homework makes learning very fast and even though SheCode is an online workshop, the learning structure is very good. I am so impressed. SheCodes is definitely a must have workshop for every lady looking to transition into tech. Cant wait to continue, my learning. I am loving this everyday.

This workshop was the hardest so far but after multiple attempts & reviews of videos, there was the lightbulb 'ah-ha!' moment when it all just clicked. Matt does a fantastic job of going through a concept, demonstrating and then re-running/explaining what he did. Redoing the weather app with React also allows us to see the different techniques that can be used to achieve similar results. Overall, this workshop is a great, thorough introduction to React!
I have really enjoyed this workshop. It is one of the best courses I have ever done. Matt is an amazing teacher and his teaching style is great. He talks you through all of the exercises and models everything for you to try yourself. I can't recommend this course enough if you are looking to get into coding.

This was an in depth workshop which included a final project that really tested the skills I learned throughout the course. I feel more confident with JavaScript and API integration. It has been a wonderful journey so far and I look forward to building on the skills I have gained as I move closer to starting my new career as Web Developer!

As tricky as it was on some parts, not having the code running even when things seemed ok, i absolutely loved it. I think this is one of the best things anyone could ever come up with and the fact that its free is really top tier. i really appreciate the opportunity and i hope more women come across this and do it.
This opened the door to a very exciting future! She Codes is an amazing online platform for beginners! Thanks to their user-friendly interface and the ability to learn at my own pace, I was able to determine if coding was right for me. I highly recommend She Codes to anyone looking to get started with coding!

This has been such a truly awesome 3 weeks... I cant believe how much I know today, that I had no idea of 3 weeks ago. I am excited to walk the rest of this journey, right up until the highest level. Signing up to She Codes has been the best decision I have made for my life this year.
I wanted something different, something that will be a career and not just a job. This field looked like the way to go but I wasn't sure if I could do it. That was until I came across SheCodes and it just fit and fell into place.

In my honest opinion, each workshop just seems to be better than the last. The world clock project in this add-on was beyond fun to code and also one that allowed me to stretch the skills that I have already picked up. I loved this challenging little project. I cannot wait to start the next workshop in this series.

Fun, fun, and fun! Working on this add-on was such a blast! the opportunity to put into practice every single concept of SheCodes Basics, adding a few new perks. The whole structure of the program feels like a game; I can't believe how easy it is to learn complex things like JavaScript while having so much fun. SheCodes is a phenomenal platform for beginners. It provides all the necessary basics that one needs to understand coding. I truly enjoyed starting this coding journey and love learning new things daily.
SheCodes Plus is definatley far more challenging that anything we've done previously. Creating the weather app has been an incredible learning curve, but so fulfilling to be able to create something from scratch. The SheCodes team are absolutely wonderful and provide great assistance and clarity if you need.
This phase was really exciting, learning new things and being able to work on my free time was a great experience, I hope I'm able to learn more in the future.

Learning the basics of coding has been as intense as challenging but at the same time really enjoyable and in a way, easy. The videos are really efficient and Matthieu's explainations cannot be clearer. I could not complete the week 1 homework and challenges in due time but it was easy to request an extension, and the team was very understanding. I found the course very flexible, fun and interesting. I feel like I really understand how HTML, CSS and Javascript work, and feel more confident for the future. I was starting a UX design course at the same time, and was hoping to learn about the basics of coding since employers often like potential UX designers to be able to communicate and understand developers. I feel so much more confident now with the basic but yet thorought and solid knowledge SheCodes gave me!
Creating this hobby project was quite fun and has helped me feel more confident in my coding skills! This mini-course taught a few more advanced HTML, CSS, and Javascript skills. Learning how to create a CSS grid, animations, and a dark theme toggle was especially useful and exciting.
I initially enrolled for this course in 2020, but life got in the way, preventing me from completing it until now. Overall, the experience was amazing and served as a great introduction to coding. I now have a better understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and there are many additional resources available to help you with your coding journey. I believe that this course is definitely worthwhile.
I absolutely loved building a world clock and with my love for travel and all the places I'v been, it just hit home. I am looking forward to continue my coding journey as I just want to keep learning and trying new things and more knowledge to write cleaner code. As always, Matt is amazing with how he breaks things down and I just appreciate his honesty and great personality. As we're getting more advanced there is lots of trial and error and what a relief to hear Matt say that sometimes it can take an entire day to write two lines of code! Just super happy and proud of my world clock and can't wait to start Responsive!

I am 25 and a stay at home mom. I came across SheCodes on a social media platform. I really appreciated that they had a free 1 hour class to discuss what they do, how they work, and how easy it can be to learn coding, through them. Being a stay at home mom has its difficulties, and I really appreciated that it wasn't time consuming. It did still take a lot of effort, but I finished the basic course, and really LOVED my entire experience. I have now completed the plus course, I truly feel I have found a love for coding and am excited for the opportunities it can bring me and my family. I can't wait to see what's to come after this. SheCodes basics was everything I was hoping for! A fantastic introduction into coding, with interesting and challenging lessons that got me hooked. Already looking to take the next course in the near future.
Good Start
I have learnt really interesting things and really want to learn more! The course is very well thought out and really easy to follow. I really like the layout and how I can go back to previous lessons when I have forgotten how to do something.

I really enjoyed the She Codes responsive program even tho I was kinda short on deadliness sometimes, so the fact that we can require a one-week extension is a great option 😅 anyways, I've learned a lot of new things in this new program so I highly recommend going this far in the She Codes program 👍
