This has been such a wonderful learning experience. I just loved how Matt explains each concept so clearly and patiently. He's an excellent teacher. I had zero coding experience and am now very confident in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I'd recommend this to any woman who wants to learn, it's definitely worth it.
Further enhances skills in React, makes you build a different React app to add to your portfolio and shows you more potentials of using React. It can be quite challenging, but overall it is rewarding.
Learning shecodes html and javascript basic was challengimg and fun at the same time,the instructions and the explanations was so clear and understandable.
This was an outstanding workshop on a very challenging new language. I think Matt did a great job of breaking down all the concepts and walking students through a step-by-step, professional approach to mastery. Excited to keep studying React and learning more.

The SheCodes basics workshop was excellent! I had been debating a career change and was hesitant about diving in and spending a lot of time and money on something I wouldn't enjoy. The combination of short videos and homework assignments made coding easy to digest. Matt was comprehensive and to the point and with the help of the SheCodes slack team, I was able to complete all my assignments. I am finishing this course with the confidence to know I CAN code, and I will be enrolling in the SheCodes Max program next.

I had a really fun time with SheCodes, especially the javascript. But I got through it and I had a lot of fun.
As the person who never studied coding I'd say that infomation is in understandable way, help are always there and every time I could find something new to know.
This course made learning the basics of code so easy. For me, the best way to learn is by practicing so the projects assigned to us were a huge help. It's given me the drive and confidence to strive for reaching my full potential as a full stack developer.

SheCodes Basic wasn't always easy, but the easy access to support, the well-made videos, the challenges/homework, and flexible yet straightforward structure with deadlines made it doable. I struggle with self-learning, but this structure was a good educational setup with autonomy. It was fun also. I highly recommend SheCodes!!
The React Add-on project was a great way to learn how to 1) fetch data from multiple APIs and render it in the same application and 2) go through the process of trial-and-error-ing different public APIs that best suit your application.

The plus workshop really improved my coding skills! Going into it I didn't see how I would ever be able to create a weather app myself from scratch but Matt's tutorials are extremely clear and easy to follow going through it step by step and I have learnt so much over this workshop! One step closer to my career in tech!

Learning to code with SheCodes has been both exciting and very educational. When I started learning WordPress, I was very nervous because I was branching into a new field, from a completely different field, Linguistics. But it turned out to be life-changing, and something I immediately fell in love with. Then I learned coding made work even more exciting and gave variety. I had to hop on it too. I was introduced to SheCodes, and I got the best head start and knowledge on coding using HTML, CSS, and javascript. This was one of my best experiences. I like how the lessons are carefully explained, especially for beginners like me.

Having to juggle between school work and SheCodes was not easy especially during exams. Matt is the best teacher because he explains everything vividly and I also love the fact that lessons are pre-recorded. Some of the challenges were a bit challenging but that's what made the journey exciting. I love it here!
Great course building on the basics course!
Teaching was clear and concise. The projects gave you a good amount of challenge and I was able to pick up the information very quickly.
The course is helpful - but depends on the student. After a while the format becomes repetitive and a bit boring - not the content but the format in which the content is learned. But, recommended to begin exploring and learning about web development.
SheCodes is a good platform to learn. I enjoyed the tutorial and it's well explanatory with good examples. I would recommend this platform for anyone that need a mentor on web development

Very important moment happened during learning .There was challenge and when I started to looking for solution ,I just became numb.This happened for the first time to me ,sometimes I get angry that it doesn't work out, sometimes I'm glad when everything works as it should.And that time there was emptiness, no ideas where to start, NOTHING at all.I sat down at the computer for half a day, looked at it, got up and cried, so passed half of my day😅.Than I pull myself together, found words of support and here I continue my path further. Understanding how React works, especially its component system, was a real challenge for me. Thankfully, with the fantastic guidance from Matt, I managed to grasp everything and create my own Weather Forecast, which I'm incredibly proud of! I'm also incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn coding fun and efficiently, all thanks to the SheCodes team.
